The site's (there's only one!) first appeal is the amazing view of Bull Mountain Ridge. Beautiful all year long, but particularly in late October when the leaves are in their richest colors. It feels private and tucked away, but is very accessible to all of what the Asheville area has to offer. Downtown is a 15 minute drive; ride services and shuttles are both easy to secure and quite affordable. The backdrop of the site is forested and easy to relax in - the understory is maintained for guest use, providing cooling shade with a stunning view. Hi! Lindsay and Matt West here. Our farm is situated on a 33 acre forested property in the Swannanoa mountains where we grow plants, make pottery and do metalwork. Although our dirt road is ~3/4 mile long, we are just 8 miles from the heart of Asheville, 4.5 miles from Beacon Village in Swannanoa, 9 miles from Black Mountain, and 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our property is home to some of the most rare and beautiful wildflowers in the region, wildlife of all kinds, and a wood fired pottery kiln! We have three spirited dogs who bark and play in the yard, and neighbors who ride motorcycles and make some noise sometimes, so it's not always quiet and peaceful, but it is beautiful and far more private than you'll get at a campground. This is a working forest farm and studio space, so there will likely be sounds of productivity during daytime hours. We often have plants for sale, as well as pottery, herbs, eggs, and other farm offerings. We live on a one lane mountain road that is shared by multiple homes. The road is rough in some areas. If you're used to forest service roads, you'll be fine here. If you're used to paved roads, you might find ours a little jarring. My mom drives a little front wheel drive car and makes it here fine, but use your best judgement based on what you're used to. AWD/4WD recommended for ease of parking at the campsite (just in case it has been a wet season, otherwise totally not necessary). We do recommend getting here before dark the first time you arrive if possible for ease of navigation.

Keith has been great to work with. The site is really nice. It has has full hook-ups, CATV and it's own WIFI. The site is on a catch and release pond. It is also close to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Our family of 6 had a great time camping at this site! Hosts had excellent communication. The site was very well maintained, and the outdoor kitchen, hot tub and fireplace were perfect for relaxing. The view is great, and the location was great. Would highly recommend!

There was a nice deck with table & chairs and a fire table. We had no problem backing our 24 ft RV into the space with room to spare. Once in place site has a flat space so leveling was no problem. This was our first adventure in our new to us RV and we enjoyed it very much.

Weekend Trip to Webb Creek Camper Lot – Smoky TN

Know what you are getting into - this is not a small or secluded campground. It is a large RV park with mostly permanent residents. The sites are small and packed in tightly. There is not an in-ground fire pit - just an above-grade fire bowl (it does accommodate grilling however) - and there is some road noise from the nearby parkway. If you are ok with those conditions then it is otherwise a good RV park with very clean bathhouse and the Owner is very accommodating. This is a great option for an RV stay on a tight budget. For myself I will likely pay more to find a more secluded/traditional campground on my next trip to the Smokies.

We enjoyed our stay at William’s camp. There was lots of room for our Sprinter Van. Very close to many attractions and eateries. The view of the mountains is awesome and a peaceful location. Thanks again.

Weekend Trip to Creekside Park - w/ Wifi!

This is a nice little spot! Very clean and super easy to get to. The big lawn is pretty and there's a little nature walk next to the creek, too. There are some big lights and road noise, but not bad for something so close to Asheville, Mars Hill, Weaverville, and terrific hiking. The owners are awesome folks. Free wifi on ATT was excellent!

Very peaceful spot close to the highway. Easy to pull back into and set up. David was really flexible about what time we arrived, which was great for us. There was a patch of grass by the creek that our kids & dog liked. WiFi worked great too!

Weekend Trip to Creekside Park - w/ Wifi!

This was a super convenient location for a quick weekend birthday trip to hang out in Asheville. It's right off the highway and easy to navigate to Weaverville, Mars Hill, and Asheville. David said they are usually closed in February, but we lucked out with good weather and were able to take advantage of the full hookups. With three larger dogs, it was nice to have the dog yard--with bags and trash can--and the nature trail area which would be a wonderful little hangout spot in the warmer months. There is highway noise, but it wasn't an issue for us, as we were running around the city and not looking for an outdoor getaway. However, like I said, the little nature trail hideaway would give you more of that feel. I can easily picture reading a book on a blanket and listening to the creek or enjoying an evening fire at the pit. The only recommendation I would have is to maybe fence in some, if not all, of the dog yard (if not already in the plans) to allow dogs to have some time off leash. We have one that refuses to go potty on a leash, and another that's high energy, so she would have loved the opportunity to run out some zoomies. Again, not a deal-breaker, but something that would make camping with doggos more convenient. This spot is definitely on my list of places to return to! I also highly recommend Stony Knob Cafe for a delicious high-quality meal and Salt Face Mule Brewing Co for a great hangout spot in Weaverville, as well as Biscuit Head and La Rumba in Asheville.

Second time staying. Definitely coming back soon. The hot tub is such a great amenity to have and so is the Wi-Fi. You’re secluded and off the road with plenty of privacy yet close enough to still go out and do everything you wanna do.
