The site's (there's only one!) first appeal is the amazing view of Bull Mountain Ridge. Beautiful all year long, but particularly in late October when the leaves are in their richest colors. It feels private and tucked away, but is very accessible to all of what the Asheville area has to offer. Downtown is a 15 minute drive; ride services and shuttles are both easy to secure and quite affordable. The backdrop of the site is forested and easy to relax in - the understory is maintained for guest use, providing cooling shade with a stunning view.
I usually try to say hello to folks and make sure they get settled in alright, but let me know if you'd prefer just to come in and have privacy. Don't feel the need to come to the house unless you can't get a hold of me via text and you need assistance. I may not be available when you arrive, but I'll try to get back in touch with you as soon as I'm able.
**Please be aware that this section of North Carolina has a particularly large population of American black bears. Any food stuffs, or other "smell-ables" will potentially attract bears.

...for proper treatment of potential attractants. The pad is roomy for small to mid-sized RVs, camper trailers max-out at about 20 feet, and offers a private water hook-up, 30 amp, and 20 amp power outlets. Over the air antenna pointed southwest should get a fair amount of local channels; ABC from downtown always comes in.
Rigs measuring approximately 20'(vehicle) and 20' (trailer) can pull in my driveway (parallel to parking pad) and then back into the site for an easy departure in the morning. Please let me know if you have a lengthy vehicle/trailer rig as even experienced trailer haulers can find it difficult to navigate alone.
The leveled pad area is approximately 21'x18' (please check your wheel base) with room to turn around in the driveway beyond and in the site.
Please be advised, this is a single RV site that I built for my parents. It'll be all yours, but it's in a neighborhood with kids and dogs, and folks doing everyday things. It's private and convenient, but it's not a State park or a commercial campground if that's what you're looking for.
If you're traveling with dogs, please be aware of the rules stated on the HipCamp platform. Neighbors with dogs and small children are within 100 yards. If your dog is apt to approach or engage with passerbys, or is protective of its immediate territory, you must ensure your dog is restrained at all times. Please contact me with any questions.
Please message me your arrival time, particularly if you are arriving after 5 pm, as I cannot guarantee I'll be available to assist you if you need help getting on-site and/or setting up your camping arrangements.
