The site's first appeal is the amazing view of Bull Mountain Ridge. Beautiful all year long, but particularly in late October when the leaves are in their richest colors. The site is roomy for small to mid-sized RVs and offers a private water hook-up, 30 amp, and 20 amp power outlets. It feels private and tucked away, but is very accessible to all of what the Asheville area has to offer. Downtown is a 15 minute drive; ride services and shuttles are both easy to secure and quite affordable. Additional parking is available for a fee. The backdrop of the site is forested and easy to relax in - the understory is maintained for guest use, providing cooling shade with a stunning view. I usually try to say hello to folks and make sure they get settled in alright, but let me know if you'd prefer just to come in and have privacy. Don't feel the need to come to the house unless you can't get a hold of me via text and you need assistance. I may not be available when you arrive, but I'll try to get back in touch with you as soon as I'm able. **Please be aware that this section of North Carolina has a particularly large population of American black bears. Any food stuffs, or other "smell-ables" will potentially attract bears. Refer to: https://www.nps.gov/articles/bearsafetyfood.htm ...for proper treatment of potential attractants. The site is roomy for small to mid-sized RVs, camper trailers max-out at about 20 feet, and offers a private water hook-up, 30 amp, and 20 amp power outlets. Rigs measuring approximately 20'(vehicle) and 20' (trailer) can pull in my driveway (parallel to parking pad) and then back into the site for an easy departure in the morning. Please let me know if you have a lengthy vehicle/trailer rig as even experienced trailer haulers can find it difficult to navigate alone. The leveled pad area is approximately 21'x18' (please check your wheel base) with room to turn around in the driveway beyond and in the site.

Great convenience and price

Great spot with water and electrical hookups close to town. Very accommodating host. Yes you're basically in a suburban neighborhood, but he's put up some privacy screens. I'd pick these neighbors over the majority of sketch balls I've been parked near at rv parks and campsites when I've needed a plug. Perfect spot for vans that need to charge up.

I loved how quiet the place was. It was easy to find and waking up to seeing the mountains and the fog was awesome

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to actually stay there given a family emergency, but the owner of the land was super-friendly, accommodating and responsive. I look forward to camping here in the near future!
