The site's first appeal is the amazing view of Bull Mountain Ridge. Beautiful all year long, but particularly in late October when the leaves are in their richest colors. The site is roomy for small to mid-sized RVs and offers a private water hook-up, 30 amp, and 20 amp power outlets. It feels private and tucked away, but is very accessible to all of what the Asheville area has to offer. Downtown is a 15 minute drive; ride services and shuttles* are both easy to secure and quite affordable. Additional parking is available for a fee. The backdrop of the site is forested and easy to relax in - the understory is maintained for guest use, providing cooling shade with a stunning view. I usually try to say hello to folks and make sure they get settled in alright, but let me know if you'd prefer just to come in and have privacy. Don't feel the need to come to the house unless you can't get a hold of me via text and you need assistance. I may not be available when you arrive, but I'll try to get back in touch with you as soon as I'm able. *If I am available, I can offer boat, bike, and hike shuttling for a fee. I also have a one-person kayak, and a two-person canoe that are usually available and camping gear. Contact me beforehand if you are interested in renting any of these items. **Please be aware that this section of North Carolina has a particularly large population of American black bears. Any food stuffs, or other "smell-ables" will potentially attract bears. Rigs measuring approximately 20'(vehicle) and 20' (trailer) can pull in my driveway (parallel to parking pad) and then back into the site for an easy departure in the morning. Please let me know if you have a lengthy vehicle/trailer rig as even experienced trailer haulers can find it difficult to navigate alone. The leveled pad area is approximately 21'x18' (please check your wheel base) with room to turn around in the driveway beyond and in the site.

Perfection!

Great spot. Super accessible to the rest of asheville. We have a 22 ft van and it was plenty of room. Will was super accommodating. WiFi, power, and water with a view is hard to come by at a price like this, so it was ideal for us to stop in and top off for a night.

Beautiful spot

The campsite was really nice, private and large. It’s also very convenient to Asheville or Black Mountain and there are some great hiking trails not far. We enjoyed our stay and Williams was an excellent host.

Good times

We had a blast at the campsite and the ridge views from the campfire really hit the spot after a long day on the trail! Williams was very accommodating and communication was great. Highly recommend to anyone passing through or looking for nice stay in the Asheville area.

Camping with wife, dog and cat :-)

Very nice spot. The owner added some privacy fence and let you do your thing. No interaction unless you have a question. It’s a little steep downhill to get to the spot but nothing too bad. It takes a couple times maneuvering around a d you definitely have to level out but it’s all doable. Would come back anytime.

Beautiful campsite and Will is such a friendly host! The convenience of being such a short drive from downtown (about 15 minutes) and only a short drive from many gorgeous hikes made it the perfect home base for our trip! I would definitely stay here again.
