This was my first time using Hipcamp, and it exceeded all expectations. The views were stunning, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the bonfire pit added the perfect touch to the experience. This is such a special place! It was peaceful and secluded while also being easy to get to. It was the perfect escape. The property is beautiful and truly has everything you need. Jodi was a wonderful host!

I appreciated Joy's helpfulness and communication. I fully intended to unplug for the weekend, and was content to choose a spot in the back 40 without cell signal. It was only a few steps to get to signal, but I put the phone into airplane mode and enjoyed complete solitude.

Fantastic spot for a relaxing getaway. We brought our dog along, and she had an absolute blast. The on-site amenities—bathroom, kitchen, and a screened-in porch—were a really nice touch. The outdoor shower added to the comfort of the stay. There’s also a small pond stocked with bass, so you can enjoy fishing all day. It’s a perfect place for a family camping trip, with shops and restaurants just a short drive away. We’d definitely return and highly recommend it!

Weekend Trip to Mystic Meadow Farm Glamping.

I loved the time I spent on Wendys land, the view is beautiful, the nights are calm and relaxing, and they're a wonderful host! My partner and I enjoyed alot of time around the firepit, and hiking around the area.

We loved this spot! It was so spacious and we felt so secluded (even though the road wasn’t far) the trees did a great job of keeping privacy! There were tons of fish ( my 5 yr old caught about 15 brim, catfish, bass, etc.) we made sure to catch and release but it was a great family trip. Definitely recommend and plan on visiting again.

For a spot so close to home, this feels pretty close to the middle of nowhere. Bekah and family are fantastic hosts. They are equally at home engaging and chatting or pretending you aren’t there. I enjoyed my stay very much. Never saw a tick or mosquito for that matter, though neither would have been out of place in this lovely wooded location. Booked my return trip only hrs after getting home. Thanks for offering this camp!

GORGEOUS. We are sad that we only spent one night. Beka and the children are so welcoming and kind. The site is private and secluded. You hear creatures and birds. Get out your Merlin app because you’re going to hear so many different birds. The property is dense and the trails stretch on. Fire ring is perfect. We plan to return for a longer stay and explore the countryside. Definitely get ice cream, eggs & cheese at Maple View. Coffee cart is across street.

My family loved the little cabin the owners were so helpful and kind we loved the animals we loved the donkey his name was Jack we had a party for my daughters birthday my family said that were coming back as soon as they can they loved the swing the best Natalie and her husband was so kind to us I will tell others where the place is at have a good day everyone and also the fishing was grand my daughter and I caught catfish that were biting good 👍

We enjoyed staying here! It was beautiful, peaceful, and, when we were there in May, there were very few mosquitoes. One down side is that we were in direct sunlight until 7:30 pm, although plenty of sunlight is to be expected when camping in a meadow. If we stay there again in the summer we will definitely bring some sort of canopy.

Less than a five minute drive to the grocery store, and less than a fifteen minute drive to uptown Lexington. Public access for kayaks is less than half a mile away. And the view is unbelievable! We have a corn hole board and bags now available for use, as well as a few other yard games. Please let us know if you are interested in using them. Our farm is a beautiful, private 25 acres with an 1830s house, outbuildings, animals, orchards, gardens, pastures, old trees, wildlife habitat, a spring, and woods. Here you can relax; watch nature; meet our chickens, goats, horse, cats, and dog; learn about archaeology, history, plants, and mead making; and get eggs and homegrown seasonal food. Listen to birdsong and watch clouds during the day, wander a path through our ca. 5 acres of woods, see fireflies in the evening, and star watch at night. Nearby are hiking, horseback riding, historical sites, fishing, antiques, wineries, shooting, and more. We are located in a rural area and have many different domesticated and wild animals so you may hear diverse animal noises and see or smell animal poop, although we try to keep things clean and tidy. Our neighbors have dogs, cattle, and chickens/roosters and occasionally shoot guns during daylight hours (one neighbor is a sporting club with skeet shooting and hunting dogs) but typically our farm is a quiet and peaceful place. We mow regularly and our rooster and chicken ladies wander far and wide eating bugs but, in the summer, they can't get every mosquito and tick so please plan accordingly for your own comfort.

There is a bath house with a heated shower, and a port-a-john that is cleaned regularly. There are 2 picnic areas with charcoal grills. We have a 24x16 enclosed stage that can be used for bands, educational classes, karaoke, yoga... ect. There is also an outdoor movie theater that is available to rent for an evening. There are a few restaurants close by and we are only 6 miles from downtown Mocksville. There are a lot of wineries and breweries within a 30 min drive from our property. We are about 15 minutes from river access to the Yadkin river for anyone looking to Kayak. There are lots of local fishing holes and places to go horseback riding. We are about an hour drive to lots of different hiking trails from pilot mountain, and hanging rock to the blue ridge parkway. We have 2 dogs that live here and will greet you at the gate. Please be respectful of the neighbors and drive slowly down the dirt road to our property to limit dust. We look forward to hosting your camping get away.
