With cobblestone mill ruins, a 200 year old cemetery at the property entrance and a large dam at the top of some of New York's most beautiful waterfalls, this is the former site of one of the Georgia Pacific's many logging mills dating back to the early 1800's and a part of Adirondack history.
Surrounded by bedrock, huge boulders, massive pine trees and miles and miles of trails, the Fowlerville Falls offer days of exploration and/or relaxation. There is a large swimming hole at the top of the falls, just off of the South-facing bedrock bank, where you can swim or lay in the sun. The falls, themselves, are almost 500 ft. across (at the widest point) and approximately 150 ft. in length (from top to bottom), ascending at approximately a 40-45 degree angle, making them navigable by foot. In the drier months (and, of course, depending on rain fall), most of the falls are dry, with only 50 - 100 ft. of water flow, making them navigable by foot. There are many little pools and flowing water across the bedrock to explore, along with the rest of the river, the surrounding woods and adjacent miles and miles of atv/hiking trails.
If you are kayaker, there river above the falls is calm and fairly shallow, ranging from .5 - several feet in depth. And if you are white water enthusiast, Fowlerville Falls (and the Moose River) is a nationally rated and renowned spot, boasting a class III-IV under normal release conditions, and a dangerous, cold class V under spring runoff conditions.

A great spot to privately retreat and relax to or from Canada (or anywhere else!) This property has been in my family for four generations. Nature reigns supreme here! Air so clean and sweet you’ll wish your lungs were bigger. If recreation is your thing the area has local fishing, hunting, 8 state parks and more. Local farmers market is 20 minutes away. A true retreat from Hussle and bustle. Stargazing at its finest. About an hour south of Watertown and about an hour north of Utica. Salmon River in Pulaski is about an hour away. . With cobblestone mill ruins, a 200 year old cemetery at the property entrance and a large dam at the top of some of New York's most beautiful waterfalls, this is the former site of one of the Georgia Pacific's many logging mills dating back to the early 1800's and a part of Adirondack history.
Surrounded by bedrock, huge boulders, massive pine trees and miles and miles of trails, the Fowlerville Falls offer days of exploration and/or relaxation. There is a large swimming hole at the top of the falls, just off of the South-facing bedrock bank, where you can swim or lay in the sun. The falls, themselves, are almost 500 ft. across (at the widest point) and approximately 150 ft. in length (from top to bottom), ascending at approximately a 40-45 degree angle, making them navigable by foot. In the drier months (and, of course, depending on rain fall), most of the falls are dry, with only 50 - 100 ft. of water flow, making them navigable by foot. There are many little pools and flowing water across the bedrock to explore, along with the rest of the river, the surrounding woods and adjacent miles and miles of atv/hiking trails.
If you are kayaker, there river above the falls is calm and fairly shallow, ranging from .5 - several feet in depth. And if you are white water enthusiast, Fowlerville Falls (and the Moose River) is a nationally rated and renowned spot, boasting a class III-IV under normal release conditions, and a dangerous, cold class V under spring runoff conditions.

Great stay on a really cool piece of property. My boyfriend and I stayed a short night and we wished we stayed longer - next time! Ben is awesome and showed us around his place, such a cool spot, and close to so many beautiful nature spots as well. We're putting it on our bucket list to come back again and stay longer! My husband and I had the pleasure of being the first hip camp guests! What an amazing experience! We were so happy to visit this hidden gem! It is underdevelopment so it’s under a tad of construction. However this little gem is definitely one I would visit again. Joe was an amazing host and stayed up late for us after a small embarrassing navigation on my part(pfft truck driver getting lost lmbo)
I would overall say the experience was amazing. I wouldn’t bring tiny humans… like I said still under development and the ponds… being a hover craft mom still for my adult children. But as a doggie mom my dogs loved it! Thanks again Joe!

We came up for the Columbus Day weekend to get one final go at filling the freezer with salmon for the year. The River did not disappoint as we had some of the best fishing in years. The camping spot was perfect for what we needed as well. Ample space to position and set up our pop-up camp. Bathroom and water were close by, as well was use of a pavilion and blackstone (though we did use them). Firewood and a ring were provided at our site. Drinking water was provided at the roadside store. Hosts were very accommodating, personable, and eager to show us around. Thanks again.

The Landing was exactly what I needed- a quiet area with open space where I could spend time with my dog, no frills required. The property owner was also easy to reach and quick to respond to questions. I will probably be in the area again and would definitely stay here again

This spot is AMAZING!! Super quiet, private, and just a great setup. We are boondockers so we didn't need anything. A very clean outhouse was a bonus. Great fire pit with benches and a picnic table. Trails all around. We explored the trails to the river, with the drought, it was very low. Very nice trails. A very nice walk down the very quiet road to the Moose River. A beautiful spot to explore. One thing, as usual, Google maps is off on the directions. Follow Stacey's directions and look for the gate. We will definitely be back.

My family and I tent camped with our fearless corgi for a week here and it was an amazing experience. The site is set just off a quiet country road surrounded by corn fields with easy access to the lake and Pulaski. Most of the traffic we saw was horse drawn Amish buggies. We made great use of the gazebo and picnic table on location as well as the campfire pit. Toni provided trash pickup and some firewood for us throughout the week which was completely unexpected but an awesome little touch. We were able to observe plenty of wildlife while just sitting at the campfire to include deer, fox, birds and even a couple of coyotes (who were no match for the corgi who chase them off…lol). We highly recommend Toni and her Hipcamp spot. We will be booking again next year and probably bring a camper to take advantage of the full onsite hookup.

This is an amazing camp site. Such a beautiful location. Felt very private. The atv trails on the property made for a nice hike. Great amenities. We had the pleasure of having a cute porcupine waddle right through the middle of our camp one night. Communication with the owner was great, extremely quick response. Highly recommend. We are already hoping to come back someday.

Everything was great, the property was well maintained. The facilities were nice for what it was. We had a wonderful time, the property is very private and quiet most of the time except when there is a caravan of ATVs going by, which is to be expected for the area. The location is fantastic its private , but not too far from anything you might need. It was very nice to be able to let our dogs run free on the property and with plenty of trails there for them to run through.

Absolute Serenity was perfect for our group and camping style. Great piece of property with a ton of trails to explore. Large open area for setting up camp with communal fire pit outfitted with benches and picnic table. Stargazing was amazing.
Our 3 dogs (high energy hunting breed) had a blast running, exploring and even enjoyed the dog pool on property.
It was definitely private and no real traffic - except for the atv’s headed to the trail system. Next time, we’ll bring out sideXside to take full advantage of the location.

We loved tent camping at this secluded spot! Plenty of space. Farmer Dick made sure we had everything we needed. Plenty of wood at a reasonable price.
The pond was lovely for a quick kayak paddle and a little fishing- too cool to swim when we were there. Don’t be spooked by the beavers splooshes!! They sound like someone throwing rocks into the pond!

Beaver spread was a great site. Area had a really cool and fun zip line into the water! Canoes and boats were out for use and were in good shape! Other people in the area were super friendly and helpful! Would stay here again.
