Open Tenting Area Near Pavilion 3
We came up for the Columbus Day weekend to get one final go at filling the freezer with salmon for the year. The River did not disappoint as we had some of the best fishing in years. The camping spot was perfect for what we needed as well. Ample space to position and set up our pop-up camp. Bathroom and water were close by, as well was use of a pavilion and blackstone (though we did use them). Firewood and a ring were provided at our site. Drinking water was provided at the roadside store. Hosts were very accommodating, personable, and eager to show us around. Thanks again.

We loved tent camping at this secluded spot! Plenty of space. Farmer Dick made sure we had everything we needed. Plenty of wood at a reasonable price.
The pond was lovely for a quick kayak paddle and a little fishing- too cool to swim when we were there. Don’t be spooked by the beavers splooshes!! They sound like someone throwing rocks into the pond!

Beaver spread was a great site. Area had a really cool and fun zip line into the water! Canoes and boats were out for use and were in good shape! Other people in the area were super friendly and helpful! Would stay here again.

Upon arrival we met Farmer Dick and Anna Joy at campsite. Picnic table, firepit, a couple Adirondack and lounger chairs were provided. gravity fed flushable toilet, and hand wash spigot on site. We brought our tent that we stayed in but were offered to stay in a cool little pondside cabin that was furnished with a bed and lanterns for light if we didn't want to set tent up.We were shown the community pavilion, stage, propane grill and flattop Blackstone grill which were were also welcomed to use. There was electric at the pavilion and a couple usb charging ports. We enjoyed using one of the several canoes. There were also a couple kayaks available. The pond was refreshing for a swim Dock at our campsite and a swim platform out about 20 yards. We did see and hear a beaver both nights. First night we met Vic , Nate and several others who were very friendly and welcoming. Second day/night we had a couple last minute guests join us. We made sure with Dick that it would be ok and he had no problem with it. After our guests arrived and realized they left a bag of their gear at home we walked over to the community pavilion (125 yards approx.) To see if Dick had any extra sleeping bags or blankets our guests could use. We were provided with sleeping bags and also unexpected nude sunbather. We weren't aware clothing was optional. If we were aware not only would we have come we wouldn't have invited guests. Assuming your paying guests are ok with nudity soured an otherwise great stay.

The camp has electric for charging, bathroom, grill, public space for proper for meals / hanging out and a beautiful pond with canoes. Aside from the stellar views and lake access Richard and Anna were incredibly responsive and helpful. Absolutely booking again.

Beaver Spread On Pond Tent Camping
Site was great, had water jug setup for outhouse toilet, spigot outside for washing. Toilet could use a scrubbing but not much to complain about it beats pooping in the woods anyday! Dock was nice, took a plunge even though it’s almost October. Didn’t see any paddles for the kayaks but I’m sure they would have brought me some over if I asked. Owner Dick was very accommodating and let me bring my pop-up trailer even though it wasn’t listed for it. Has almost anything you need available as well. Will sell you produce if you need, on top of that he has plenty of pallets to burn in the community bon-fire at the pavilion where there is also a grill and griddle to use. Could host allot people here, would be great for a larger fishing group. 4wd probably not a necessity unless the weather is really wet. The ATV trail that leads to the pond is fairly flat and maintained, no issues with a trailer, however if you have a 4wd you can keep going up that trail and end up near Salmon River, perfect shortcut for fishers camping here as long as your vehicle can properly off road. Will definitely book again next year either for a get-away or next Salmon season.

Tenting Area Blueberry Corner
The location is easy to find yet secluded and tranquil. There is a clean, well supplied cooking/eating area, clean bathroom, cozy camping areas and a beautiful large swimming pond. I received a warm welcome on arrival and proceeded to enjoy great company and conversations with the hosts and other visitors. I felt very comfortable as a solo female traveler and would happily book here again. Thank you for such a memorable experience :)

Tenting Area Blueberry Corner
The host was very friendly and likeable. I'd likely go again if I was on the tiny lake but was at another site on the property surrounded by wood pallets and other "junk"...mattresses were left leaning against the drinking water out in the opening and I could only find a broken paddle for the canoe. Again, nice people, need to do some cleanup on the property.

Pretty property, bathroom in clean condition & good function, outdoor spigot and other amenities such as grill available. Pond nice for swimming. Lots of mosquitos but that’s most places this time of year.

We just returned from our first camping trip at the Beaver Spread campsite, and we can't stop raving about the incredible experience! Dick, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. He showed us true hospitality, from giving us a warm welcome to providing us with everything we needed for a perfect camping trip.
Our campsite was absolute perfection! It was private, secluded, and had its own swimming deck, toilet, kayaks, picnic table, and chairs. We felt like we were in our own little paradise.
But what really made our trip special was Dick's kindness and generosity. He provided us with free wood for our campfire, ice for our cooler, and even gave us fresh eggs from his farm. He also took the time to give us a wonderful tour of his property, sharing stories and insights that made us feel like we were part of the family.
Nate was also incredibly welcoming and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.
This was hands down the best camping experience we've ever had, and we can't wait to come back. If you're looking for a peaceful, private, and unforgettable camping trip, look no further than the Beaver Spread on Pond Campsite! Thank you, Dick, Nate, and Anna Joy for an unforgettable adventure! A beautiful area tucked down a back road. The most private camp spot I’ve been to, it felt like we had the whole back part of the lake to ourselves! The hosts were very nice and friendly and super accommodating. The perfect getaway spot that’s not hours away, we will definitely be back!

Great host. Safe and secluded spot. I car camped. Note - if you have a newer car, check to ensure anti-theft protection is turned off. I didn’t know I had such a thing, and it’s quite loud. 🙁 This was my first Hipcamp and first car camp. My gear needs an upgrade😉. Can’t speak highly enough about this location.

Oh man! It’s a beautiful little gem. All the accommodations, and their warm welcome to us make us definitely wanna come back to this spot. They got flushable toilets, fresh water for cleaning, kayaks for the lake and swimming docks. We couldn’t ask for more !

Everyone needs a place to lay their weary head. For travelers visiting Beaver Spread on Pond Tent Camping is an excellent choice for rest and rejuvenation. The owner Richard is friendly, professional, kind person! He offered to us, free kayaking, free wood for barbecue, grill and his help for anything. Also, while I was booking this place , he answered all my questions because it was our first time camping. He recommended to choose this spot because its more private, with a lake view! Gorgeous place !!!! We enjoyed a lot and we are very thankful 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 For travelers arriving by RV, a parking space is available. Plus, during your trip, don’t forget to check out beach in Pulaski " Sandy Island State Beach Park". Whether you’re traveling for business, pleasure or both, Beaver Spread on Pond Tent Camping is sure to make your visit one worth remembering. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I stated at this camping site and just loved the wonderful setup, and the beauty along with tranquil setting. Our host Richard went out of his way to accommodate us.
Plenty of firewood supplied and fresh potable water. Outdoor bathroom was clean and sanitary.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful blueberry farm with a lake on the side and small trails nearby. I would love to visit again in the summer! Equipped with grills, bathrooms and handwashing station, drinking water, podium for music festivals and everything else you need for 1-2 nights.

I had the experience of a lifetime viewing the eclipse at Blueberry Pond. Vic, Dick, and Anna Joy were incredible hosts, and made me and others feel like we were a part of their community. They treated us to two nights of a bonfire, which served as a gathering spot for campers, the owners, and neighbors to share stories and connect. I especially loved hearing from Vic and Dick about farm life, including a mini-lesson on the blueberry plants and what makes the newer varieties more pest resistant than the older ones.
My camping site was tucked away in a private, easily accessible wooded area. The beautiful pond was nearby, along with a rustic pavillion which included two propane grills and a number of tables and chairs. The toilets were a nice treat, and very clean. I really appreciate that water, soap, toilet paper, and paper towels were provided.
The clarity of the stars at night was truly awesome, along with the orchestral delights of the frogs at night. I'm thrilled that the eclipse brought me to this special place. I would love to go back and explore the area some more and spend more time with this beautiful community. Thanks to everyone at Grindstone Farms for such a memorable experience.

The spot was gorgeous, there's a giant bonfire pit, Dick and Vic are a hoot and extremely hospitable, and even told me I overpaid when booking a full night when all I wanted was a day pass and handed me back cash on the spot unasked. Would love to come back when the farm in in full bloom.

Beaver Spread On Pond Tent Camping
Our stay was wonderful! The hosts Dick and Vick (and Anna) were extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond and made us feel like family. We stayed at the camp location on the lake and we had our own private toilet and private dock. Not all sites are like this so read descriptions carefully. There is a communal pavilion with grills and water and lights. There are flushing toilets. There are multiple bench swings near the lake. It is a very peaceful place to be! The only downside was the road being really muddy and hard to navigate because it had rained heavily the week prior, but our little sedan made it just fine with skilled driving. I’m sure on a regular day that the roads wouldn’t be an issue at all. It was opened up earlier than normal for the eclipse, so I’m sure the roads will be fine during their regular season.Thank you!
