We had a wonderful stay at Cecelia’s! The views were incredible and they were very accommodating with our late arrival time! They even provided wood for a fire. We would definitely stay again! We had 2 dogs with us and they enjoyed running in the open field. Thanks Cecelia!

This was a lovely stay about 35 mins outside Syracuse. Host was kind and hospitable, lead us up to the sight. Partial gravel and dirt, okay trek in a midsized vehicle, just go slow and take care of it rains. Secluded sight and nothing but trees and farms for as far as the eye can see. Immaculate star gazing if it is a clear night. Open fields and free to roam. Not too far from sight seeing and a nice general store with coffee, which we forgot so we’re very grateful for. Simple cabin and fire ring, and host provided us some good firewood. Used the cabin to prep meals and store some things, but it’d be perfect to stay in too. We opted to sleep in our tent and it was level, quiet and peaceful. Relaxing and time well spent

We loved our stay at Cecelia’s property! My boyfriend and I went for a relaxing couples getaway. Amazing views. She’s very accommodating and even offered to shuttle us to the river with our kayaks we brought. Huge open field to yourself and we got to use the cabin. Firewood is provided but I would say to bring your own and only use the wood provided as back up because it is not covered and we struggled with it being a bit wet. We will be back! 😊

Perfect place to get away for a bit off-grid. Views are incredible. I stayed in the cabin, which perches nicely on top of a hill. Camping is a pretty new thing for me, so just having that shelter for the couple of days was great to warm up to the concept. Also, it did rain quite a bit, so it was nice to have a roof. Cecelia had some extra wood delivered. The fire and the views is what it was all about for me. Bonus was some visiting deer, and the lightning bugs were pretty great too. A++.

The view was breathtaking. Nice little shed/ cabin. There was a broom to sweep it out. Grass around the cabin porch and fire ring was a little tall. And no where to get out of the sun expect in the cabin. Cows were so fun to watch. After the first couple days it really started to smell though. We had a minivan and the driveway really called for a vehicle with higher clearance. It can be done without 4 wheel drive if your a good driver and go slow but more than once I wished we weren’t driving a loaded down van. All said and done the view was stunning and worth it. Perfect for a short stay. The host was friendly and helpful.

Another beautiful camping trip at Hearts Desire. The views are unmatched and Cecelia is always a welcoming and gracious host! We were able to check out the watering hole spot on this trip and it was a welcome relief from the heat and sun. Our dog Nova loved the big field to run around in and the little cabin is a fantastic hub for food and drinks with such a large camping party. A fantastic weekend filled with amazing memories.

This camp is gorgeous! Huge field on the top of a mountain all to yourself. Plus, she has a nice wooden lodge with a view of the valley. Double doors open up to a view of the sunset. Plus, a large screen to keep bugs out. She also has a big fire pit you can cook over and provided wood for us! Definitely coming back to this gem again! :)

Cecelia has one of the most breathtaking spots I've ever camped on. First of all, Cecelia herself is the most attentive and friendly host and helped us drive up to/ find the site herself. Definitely need a 4-wheel drive, high clearance vehicle. At the spot, we hob nobbed with the dairy girls over the fence and enjoyed an incredible view of the leaves changing over the valley below, and frolicked in the grassy fields behind us. I can't wait to go back!

Cecelia was a wonderful hostess. The views were amazing and the little cabin was such a nice addition! Plenty of firewood and maybe a mile walk down to the swimming hole which my dogs simply loved.

We had a wonderful time camping on Cecelia’s dairy farm! She was very communicative and was ready to meet us when we arrived and show us to our site. She even asked what we were looking for in order to pick the right site for us. We were up on a hill that we had all to ourselves with beautiful views of the whole valley. There was even a small structure with chairs which would be nice if it rained. There was a fire pit as well and some wood provided. What made this site great was the privacy, the incredible view, and the peacefulness. It was so nice to just sit on the porch and relax while enjoying the breeze, crickets, and scenery. We hope to visit again next year!

Cecelia is such a wonderful host! She brought us firewood and took us to the hill since we do not have a car. On the hill, you can see beautiful mountain scenery and some curious cow friends who will be visiting you! At night, you can hear some coyotes and see the stars. Overall the camping experience is the best I’ve ever had! I will definitely visit Cecelia again.

Unreal. . . Cecelia was super friendly. We said we wanted a view and that’s exactly what we got. Then she left us to enjoy and we felt like we were completely alone for miles around. Just such a beautiful property/area. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Absolutely beautiful views and very helpful and clear communication with Cecelia. Definitely would recommend! We brought 2 off leash pups and they were very happy and comfortable with the space. I hope to be back soon!

This was our 2nd stay at Cecilia's land. It was amazing from the moment we pulled into the site. Great views, a beautiful little cabin that we used to keep all of our food/drinks in as well as shade/rain coverage. The best part was the cows! We had SO much room and my dog loves it! Cecilia and her husband had to mow the hay in the field next to the campsite in the morning but it wasn't a problem because they were done quickly and she came later to say thank you and we were able to have a drink with her. Cecilia is a great host and the options are unlimited on her property. Cannot wait to come back in the future and explore another site!

I am thankful to have been able to camp in this space to meet with our friends. And I was really really disappointed in the location. We had to drive and walk through cow pee and poo to exit the site. The car smelled awful. I didn't have anywhere to walk my dog in the morning without trudging literal through ciw poop. We got to listen to farm equipment most the time and the flood lights lit up the night.

Cecelia's land was absolutely stunning. She brought me to the campsite, which had a structure in the event of rain. Views were beautiful and the site was completely secluded. I highly recommend.

Wonderful place! Cecelia was a great host always checking in making sure we've got everything we need. Great place to relax and reconnect with nature. If you're looking for a quiet, idyllic place to camp, this is it. Cecelia picked a secluded site for us as we requested. Plenty of hiking and picturesque roads to take a relaxing drive. Plenty of organic farmer's markets in the area where you can try the local produce.

This is a really special place! I’m always so touched people will invite strangers to enjoy the beautiful spaces they have. I’ve camped in many places around the country and this spot is one of my favorites. Stunning views of a rural landscape like out of a story book. It’s very secluded and private but also the faint mooing of the cows was great company. It was so much fun to watch our dog run his little heart out around their open field, and explore the hillside. I’m still in awe of how peaceful and beautiful it was.

Our campsite was absolutely perfect! We had booked a weekend at a different HipCamp and unfortunately it was flooded out. We already had our cars packed up and ready to camp so we contacted Cecelia. She had the perfect spot ready for us at short notice that was wooded, secluded and a perfect amount of space for the 5 of us. We've already talked about going back in the fall and exploring another area on the property.
