'Hearts Desire' is our name for the camping sight of your choice on our organic dairy farm known as Bundy Creek Farm. Our family has been farming this land since the depression era when our ancestors moved east from California during a drought and were enamoured with our green rolling hills and abundant water resources. In all, this land is the backdrop of the story of five generations of the Murray family. Through good times and bad, our dairy cows have been the backbone of the farm, grazing on the mostly hillside pastures. Forages and grains are grown in the valley and hilltops, all surrounded by hardwood forests or wooded swampland; all together encompassing 775 acres of land. Maple syrup is also often made from our top of the hill sugarbush. And yes.....a river runs through it.....or actually several creeks.... Learn more about this land: Nestled among the rolling hills that are the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, our organic dairy farm is the backdrop for this camping experience. Tell us what is your 'hearts desire" and we will accommodate you as best as we can on our 800 acres which encompasses hundreds of acres of woodland, pasture and crop land, creeks and a 80 acre navigable swamp (seasonally). Wildlife abounds with deer, coyotes, turkey, fox, geese, ducks, small mammals and an occasional eagle. Hike, bicycle, kayak or just chill in the beautiful surroundings. We are also two miles from the finger lakes trail. Cecelia’s place was great, very quick to respond. Cecelia gave me enough firewood to last me the two nights I stayed. Definitely would recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Cecelia’s! The views were incredible and they were very accommodating with our late arrival time! They even provided wood for a fire. We would definitely stay again! We had 2 dogs with us and they enjoyed running in the open field. Thanks Cecelia!

Sun and stars
This was a lovely stay about 35 mins outside Syracuse. Host was kind and hospitable, lead us up to the sight. Partial gravel and dirt, okay trek in a midsized vehicle, just go slow and take care of it rains. Secluded sight and nothing but trees and farms for as far as the eye can see. Immaculate star gazing if it is a clear night. Open fields and free to roam. Not too far from sight seeing and a nice general store with coffee, which we forgot so we’re very grateful for. Simple cabin and fire ring, and host provided us some good firewood. Used the cabin to prep meals and store some things, but it’d be perfect to stay in too. We opted to sleep in our tent and it was level, quiet and peaceful. Relaxing and time well spent

Secluded Getaway
We loved our stay at Cecelia’s property! My boyfriend and I went for a relaxing couples getaway. Amazing views. She’s very accommodating and even offered to shuttle us to the river with our kayaks we brought. Huge open field to yourself and we got to use the cabin. Firewood is provided but I would say to bring your own and only use the wood provided as back up because it is not covered and we struggled with it being a bit wet. We will be back! 😊
