2 nights at Wurtsboro Ridge Retreat
This cabin was exactly what my partner and I were looking for for a quiet two-day retreat that felt outdoorsy without all the work of true camping. Space heaters and a woodstove kept it fairly cozy for cold November nights, and there was a ton of wood available for the outdoor firepit. We enjoyed exploring the collection of board games and CDs inside, plus outdoor badminton and frisbee under the lights. Beautiful clear stargazing, and easy driving distance to some great hikes.

2 nights at Wurtsboro Ridge Retreat
This was exactly what I was looking for. It was quiet and relaxing, but there was a cool town nearby to explore if I want to see other people. There were tons of games, so you would never need to feel bored, but also a TV just in case as well. The ability to just pick fresh herbs from outside always makes me feel great.
I really felt like a friend was welcoming me into their cool house.

The best getaway!! If you are looking to escape reality to a peaceful sanctuary with all the amenities you could need, this HipCamp is for you! The property is beautiful and very well-maintained. There's plenty of space to walk around and explore, as well as a cold plunge! The bed is extremely comfortable and the luxury of a full bathroom with a toilet and shower? Priceless. Anything you need to cook with is already there in the full kitchen, including a firepit to cook over which is what we did! I would suggest bringing food with you since it's not that easy to find groceries nearby! Waking up with those large windows besides you is unreal and so peaceful. There's a lovely walk down to a creek as well. This one is 10/10 and I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great trip, lots to do in the area, easy to hike to and from, and even easier to jump back in the car and head to the various state parks in the area. Good location. Photos could use some updating, holes in the bug net in the tent, small ones bit still noticeable. Bring some tape maybe. Very nice firepit as well, and it came with potable water and a two burner stovetop (propane)

Great view, nicely secluded! Great place to be off the grid. Not to far from Minnewaska. Recommend brining lots of bug spray, water, and arriving during the day (driveway is a bit steep).

Great spot! It was a clear and cold night down into the 30s, perfect for star gazing. The tent was cozy enough and warmed right up in the morning with an easy starting fire in the stove. The wife, kids, dog and I were happy.
