It has a full size bed, cabinet and table with chairs. It sits next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, small waterfall, marsh and 2 1/2 miles of hiking trails. My husband and I loved staying at Treehouse!! If you are looking for a magical place in nature, look no further! The Treehouse is a very private and tranquil spot in the woods that is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life. The hammock was by far our favorite spot to relax in and gaze up to the sky. We had perfect weather for hiking and the trails are well marked and maintained. We even got to see a deer while out on the trails! Nighttime is meant for fires and the fire pit area with tiki torches is beautiful and relaxing. We came back home recharged and refreshed. Bert and Nancy are incredible hosts with the most positive energy! They thought of every little detail and Bert was very attentive just in case we needed anything, but not intrusive. I am pretty sure we over packed lol Can’t wait to book our next stay!

Weekend Trip to Two Herons Farm

This place was so much fun! It was a beautiful, serene, country location. Don't let the farm vibe scare you - it wasn't smelly, "dirty," or muddy at all; just peaceful. The sound of crickets lulled us to sleep and the cool air made for a deep, restful night. With the door and windows closed, there wasn't much ambient (animal) noise and the rooster didn't wake me up like I expected. The "bed" was more comfortable than I expected. (I'm a wicked light sleeper and expected a rough night... It was anything but!) The RV was quaint and vintage, and so cozy and inviting. The bathroom is small but was just enough for us (shower and all.) Not having to sleep on the ground and being able to have my own restroom was precisely why we chose this site but it was leaps and bounds better than I expected. We'd return in a heartbeat. Nice, central location in CT, and if we were there longer, I would've loved to have used the kitchen and enjoyed the farm more. The coffee maker was a godsend first thing in the morning while we packed up. I feel like this would be an excellent place for an artist or a writer to escape and find inspiration. Lastly, the camper was away from the rest of the structures so we felt like the farm was ours. 1 night was not enough.

We loved every moment of our stay/experience, but our favorite part was definitely doing an evening tour of the farm. Molly and Diego were fantastic hosts and so generous with their time despite their busy schedules. The animals are so comfortable around people, a true testament to the great care they are receiving. The farm store was also lovely! I would highly recommend this to anyone who has the chance to go. I’ve already booked a second visit!

This spot was absolutely beautiful 😍❤️ We had a great experience. Both host were so friendly and welcoming. Horses that came up to our trailer was an incredible experience. I've never slept in a horse trailer, but there's a first for everything. I didn't get the greatest sleep. But hey, it's a horse trailer. There's a few minor things I would update, but honestly for the spot, cost and just amazing time we had. It was perfect! And literally no bugs when we were outside hanging out.

Five stars aren’t enough to describe our stay at the picturesque Octagon. This is a perfect getaway for a solo traveler or couple. Nancy thought of all the details, and we felt so welcomed. We cooked dinner over the bonfire, and in addition to the tiny house, enjoyed the outdoor shower and a hike through this beautiful property. I hope to return one day!

We had such a nice time staying at Mary and Victor’s cabin! We brought our cat with us and we all got to watch the horses graze all day, had a perfect setup for fire and cooking. The bed was super comfortable and we slept amazingly. I would definitely recommend this place to others and we would love to come back and stay sometime soon. Victor and Mary were both extremely kind and welcoming, thank you for such a lovely stay!

Beautiful fully working farm with great people running it. Was fortunate enough to spend some time with the owners, get a tour of the barn, and helped feed the baby goats! Fantastic burger joint right down the road. Check in was a breeze and the weather was so nice one of us ended up camping outside. Great place and wonderful people. Will definitely return if ever in the area again.

Great hospitality from Mary & Victor. The horses were friendly to my dog & I. There are also chickens on the site as well. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the cabin. It’s very homey & cozy. I stayed for one night and going to stay for more whenever I need a getaway! Recommend. :)
