This property has been in my family for three generations. It is classic Connecticut with hills and streams and stone walls.
The octagon is a private 122 ft.² that is electrified and heated. It has a full size bed, cabinet and table with chairs. It sits next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, small waterfall, marsh and 2 1/2 miles of hiking trails. There is a fire pit and outdoor dining area next to the octagon. We also have a propane outdoor grill and propane two burner camp stove. Out house with composting toilet close to octagon is heated. A great place to rejuvenate in the forest! Dogs welcome.

Relax and enjoy all that our farm has to offer. You can enjoy nature and privacy or opt for a more interactive experience and join our morning or evening farm tour where you can interact with goats, sheep, mini-horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, and more.
We are a small family farm where we raise animals and grow flowers/food. Our family home was built in 1739 and is situated near the street entrance.
As you enter the property, you will see two cottages, the oldest corn crib in the county, and a beautifully restored 1800s barn. There is a vintage-style camper to the left of the barn, located in an area where you can have privacy overlooking the pastures.
We live on the property and can assist guests with anything that they might need.
Guests are welcome to stroll around the property and enjoy all it has to offer. We have a farm store and education center opening summer of 2025! Check our website to see classes and offerings that you might take advantage of during your stay.
Please note, that we ask that guests do not enter the barn or fenced pasture without one of the farm owners (Molly & Diego). Our animals are accustomed to people, but livestock is unpredictable, especially to people that they do not know. There is plenty of area outside of the pasture that guests can enjoy. If you opt for a farm tour we promise that you will have plenty of interaction with our many animals.

This Jayco RV is decorated and designed for two people who want to create a cozy getaway to relax and celebrate beautiful, unforgettable moments. With the cold season upon us, the RV has built-in heating, and I've also added an electric heater to keep you warm during your stay. It has its own control panel and thermostat. But don't forget to turn it off after you're finished, as it will stay on unnecessarily. It's also important to know that when you use the toilet, only use toilet paper, as it's specially designed for this type of RV and won't cause blockages. Smoking is prohibited inside this property; if smoke is found, an extra cleaning fee will be charged.
This is also an ideal space to relax and work remotely, as it has an independent antenna to provide internet access to the entire unit and all the electronic equipment you need.
I will ensure the unit is delivered to you with all its accessories in working order so you won't have any problems. I always suggest guests ask any necessary questions so they can use it without any issues. On the day of arrival, you will receive another message to refresh your knowledge of how to use the campervan.
Close to the beach and sand, the city offers activities nearby so you won't have to go far to enjoy them. This campervan has all the qualities of a house, with the only difference being that you're on wheels—something truly delightful. I have two bicycles so you can take a ride along the bike path on the beach and enjoy the majestic scenery. A different way to have fun and experience something new. When we saw the Buddha statues on the way in we knew we had picked the right place! We stayed at the octagon and it far exceeded our expectations. There were a few different places to sit and enjoy the woods, the brook, and the campsite. The trail system is really unique and beautiful. The hosts are obviously very artsy and in time to nature as it seemed like they built everything to blend seamlessly into the surrounding forest.
We hope to make this our regular stop whenever we travel to or through this area

The whole site was an amazing forested retreat! Really well decorated and thought out. We stayed at the octagon and it was so amazing to be in nature beside a babbling brook and we loved the trail system. We were using it as a pit stop and wish we had allotted more time to just absorb the ambience.
The Buddha statues are a great touch too!

I loved the whole treehouse vision. Everything was beautifully crafted and maintained. The outdoor shower and water in the treehouse itself was not hooked up but only a short walk to the main bathroom area. And there were plenty of clean water jugs provided. More signage and maybe more info about how to use the generators or simple directions about property and swimming areas would have been helpful but we managed fine. Karyssa was very responsive and helpful. It was very hot in the treehouse during our stay. There were solar fans but they didn't last the whole stay and there was no info on how to recharge them. 2 of the 3 generators were undercharged but the 3rd was fully charged. I did not see that one until the last day, so more info on that would have been helpful and a full charge. (ex. what is acceptable to use with it as to not drain the battery?) I used the toaster oven on one and it definitely drained the battery a lot. I was very grateful for the kitchen items like coffee, mugs, silverware etc. The view of the river was spectacular and being immersed in nature made this stay so worthwhile. I would stay again and recommend to anyone to watch the weather and plan to go when it is mild temp, not too hot. Overall grateful for this space crafted with intention. Thank you!

Amazing getaway from any neighbors! We had 6 of us ladies and plenty of space! Having a kitchenette with a fridge was huge as we got to leave our bigger coolers at home which allowed us to leave a little extra room in the suv for other camp stuff. Danielle was only a message away a d was such a great host! It downpoured our last night but we will definitely be back to enjoy a full weekend away.

This site is large and private with dozens of unique features and details that make spending time here so delightful. The treehouse was stocked with books, games, led light fans, bug spray, and a refrigerator. From the screened porch we saw so many birds flying over the lake. We enjoyed a walk through the forest and saw a family of turkeys! Outside there is a fire pit, charcoal grill and gas grill. It was very hot so we didn’t get a chance to use these. The host was helpful with our initial questions, and the only thing we would have changed was the 90 degree weather! This site is a short drive from Mystic and Westerly with great restaurants and shops.

I found this place looking for a place to go tent camping and stumbled upon the treehouse. After looking at the pictures I realized I wanted to pay for the upgrade. I am 100 percent happy I did. The amount of details and heart that was put into this place cannot be put into words. If you are thinking about this treehouse, do it. I cannot recommend it enough. Also the more you explore the treehouse, the more cool things you will experience. I don't want to ruin the surprise of finding and trying things that I have not attempted in years. Just know that this place comes with side quests.
