2 nights at Mariaville Goat Farm Yurt
Brought my girlfriend here as a little surprise trip for her bday and she absolutely loved it!! I was a little nervous about the weather but it ended up being so cozy inside the Yurt with the snowfall outside. Such a nice and relaxing stay with wonderful hosts that accommodates to all of your needs. Was so relieving to be able to pack nice and light and just hangout. We had everything we needed! Awesome hosts and a an awesome place. Ed made sure we had plenty of wood the entire time and was always available if we needed anything!

Rolled up to John’s property and he couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. He showed us the way to the campsite and gave us a quick lay of the land. The site itself is beautiful and I’d definitely come back. Nothing but good things to say.

Frankie was very easy to communicate with and responsive whenever I needed something. I appreciated his local recommendations and flexibility with our arrival and departure time, as well as the firewood left at our site! The land was really beautiful and not too far from the areas we were there to explore. Mark was so helpful in getting parked and his property is beautiful! He had a great farm stand and even makes baked goods. I would definitely recommend staying there if you're looking for a place in this area.

We had such a special weekend camping on Robert's land. Pictures don't do it justice. It is jaw dropping beautiful and very private. Robert is the best hip camp host we've ever had and we've used hip camp for years. He is reasonable, flexible, and very considerate. The outhouse is extremely clean, and he provides firewood for purchase, a fire pit, wash stand for dishes, and a wood countertop perfect for your camp grill to sit on. The location is primo with lots of cute little towns around and hiking trails right off his property. We are definitely making an annual trip here.

Simply put, it's a gem! The location and experience overall was a great one. The area is pretty spectacular and to have a place to camp like this just makes it that much more special. Big thanks for the family who owns the spot because without you we wouldn't have been able to enjoy it. Will be back.

Best camping experience ever! Can’t wait to go back - Ed and Rick are the best and completely set you up for everything plus the complementary breakfast is so good! Fell in love with the goats and the beautiful tree house! Great property, just remote enough to clear your head and connect to nature w/ some minor amenities that make it feel closer to glamping than camping.

The valley was such an amazing place to camp at. The amenities were clean. There was plenty of distance between the sites to feel private. We will definitely come back to camp! PSA vehicle with decent ground clearance is highly recommended and there is no cell service once you drive past Phoenicia.

This was our first time camping on John and AC's land and we would 100% recommend this spot! Communication beforehand was smooth and clear and the camping spot itself was gorgeous. Even though it's a little close to the road (it's not a busy road so cars are few and far between), it feels very secluded and the view is stellar. Above all that though, both John and AC are incredibly nice and thoughtful people that went above and beyond to help us out during our stay. Thanks to you both and can't wait to camp up there again soon!

2 nights at Mariaville Goat Farm Yurt
It was all wonderful! The sleeping arrangement was surprisingly comfortable, our needs were asked after and met well. The animals were just great! I loved all of them-so sweet! Such tender care that was put into the making of this place and the love shown to our fuzzy friends, you would be hard pressed to find it's equal. I will always cherish the memories we made there.
I'll probably go back and try the yurt!

This is a wonderful hidden slice of heaven! Our four year old adored the mornings with the goats around the farm and fire pit, especially on the trampoline! Hospitality was top notch, and not to mention the fulfilling breakfasts. Perfect getaway and would recommend to all. Thanks again gentlemen!

Weekend Trip to Mariaville Goat Farm Yurt
We had an amazing stay in the tree house. It is very clear how much thought and effort has gone into creating an amazing experience for guests on the farm. We could have packed much lighter as Rick and Ed had truly thought of everything. Rick was an awesome host who was very warm and communicative. The goats were very fun to hang out with and watch. Despite a rainy weekend, Rick made sure we got plenty of time with the goats.

Absolutely fantastic. Very generous owner and their foods are amazing. The owner harvests their own vegetables and create their own baked bread which is outstanding (I suggest you enjoy it together when they serve breakfast). I love how they allow the travelers to use their basement bathroom which is super clean and neat. We would definitely want to come back for more experience since it felt like 3 days was too short :)
