Here on 5 acres of property, there's room for 5-7 tents and 2-3 campers. There's electricity to charge up your phone and a very clean outhouse. Enjoy a ton of berry bushes waiting to get picked and a small pond with a sitting area. Enjoy the fire pit. Just minutes from the lakes.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: When you turn onto Ace Rd, the camp is the 3rd driveway down on the right. If you hit the dead end - you've gone way too far. Please look for the white sign that has #9520 on it (like the picture).
PLEASE NOTE: If you need electricity to your camper or trailer, you can use whatever extension chords you see on-site, but I recommend you bring your own long one. Sometimes our campers walk away with ours and we can't guarantee there will be one there when you arrive.

Lose yourself here, or maybe find yourself, among the Hemlocks. First, a bit about the terrain. There is much in the way of forest, very mature, and a broad array of plant species.
Elevation differences are vast, land to the west is uphill for quite a ways, and downhill to the east, to Hemlock lake below, so the world here can feel a bit tilted.
We adjoin 150 acres of nature conservancy lands that nobody seems to know about. These lands are for respectful public daytime use. We also adjoin 6600 acres of NY state forest which is public property. Exploring all that is here would take a very long time! Want to get away? Welcome to our little slice of heaven.

Most of the time cars or r.v.s can manage the gravel and dirt road back to the campsite, assistance or a truck will be provided if a large rain storm might occur during your stay. Our full hook-up camp is in the middle of a small Amish community near the Finger Lakes. Amish buggies pass by occasionally especially on the Sunday where they meet at a neighbors for church fellowship. Our Amish are very friendly and will wave to let you know. There are Amish shops and baked good stands throughout the countryside that are fun to visit. A map of the shops is available to help you. Their shops are not open on Sunday however. The camp is close to the road where it is an easy in and out. We have full hookups...electric, water, and sewer (I have an extra 10 sewer hose if you need it). We are close to Stony Brook State Park, Conesus Lake, Deer Run Winery, Letchworth State Park, Livingston County Murals, Harriet Hollister Spencer State Park (overlook!), Erie Canal, and Geneseo State College. This camp is a nice hub to explore western NYS... going North, South, East, West to see the sites or hike.

This is a perfect
area for fishing, kayaking, bicycling, kite flying, hiking, wine trailing or relaxing. Enjoy the well-maintained fire pit in the Adirondack chairs. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular here and stargazers will be delighted with the expansive views. Amish carriages and work horses are common sites.
Park however it suits you for getting the best views. It's easy to back in or out with big rigs and trailers from the quiet road . The driveway entrance is extra large. There's plenty of space for a boat, trailer or second vehicle.
YOST RIDGE is located between Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lakes ("Trout fishing capital of the World") in the Finger Lakes wine country, and is just a short distance from numerous wineries; Swedish Hill, Knapp Vineyards, Three Brothers, Thirsty Owl, Ventosa, Buttonwood Grove, and Hosmer wineries.

Only spent one night here but I would come back! Great location, super close to the finger lakes. The staff was super friendly, they upgraded my stay and moved me closer to the exit because they knew it was a better site and it was empty that night. Check in was super simple and there was even live music playing at the gazebo in the evening. The ‘locals’ were super friendly too, we walked around at night and everyone was up and hanging out and one asked if we needed help finding our site. Would recommend!

Bailee was an exceptional host. She messaged us to make sure everything was going smoothly during our stay and see if we needed anything. Loved the versatility of this property to be utilized for groups but it was just us and our dogs this trip. Great remote location without being to far away from lake activity and small town exploring. Nicely landscaped firepit with plenty of room for games/activities. One thing to note is the creek is not directly accessible from the campsites due to a steep drop off. There were paths throughout the woods that led to other entry points, however they were not visible from the main area. I would have liked if they had cut the grass prior to our stay, but that's the only (negative) thing I could say regarding this property. They are doing an outstanding job.

We drove 300 miles to Dawn's Yost Ridge for a 4 night stay. Part way into the 3rd day we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay for another day! We chose Yost Ridge due to the proximity of 2 of the larger Finger Lakes. Beautiful camp site! The site isn't far off the road but the amount of traffic consists of horse and buggies and a few water tankers for the farms. Hours pass before you hear a car. There are neighbors on each side but both are quiet. The one has a dog who will come out to say hello and then goes back inside. The goats and rooster added a nice country touch. The firepit sits away from the camper spot which makes it nice. Well water is clean and electrical hook up is up to par. Already looking forward to a visit next year! Thanks Dawn!

Nathan's two sites are meticulously maintained, level, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful rural farmland. It truly is my happy place! We have a week-long family reunion at Seneca Lake each year, and while the rest of the family stays in cabins about a mile away, I much prefer staying at Nathan's Hipcamp.
It's quiet, relaxing, and the perfect place for me to retreat to at the end of a busy family day. I also really enjoy seeing his Amish neighbors and catching glimpses of their busy farm life. Nathan's parents live nearby as well and are always so welcoming and friendly.
I look forward to coming back!
