Nestled in the mountainside in Morris County this 10 acre farm estate is home to a plethora of wildlife, small lake, and large brook that runs through the property. The lake is home to native wildlife and the brook is loaded with trout. There are a couple of professionally maintained landscaping areas perfect for camping and firepit. It comes with a firepit, and everything you need for an amazing night out in the wilderness. There are beautiful hiking trails on site as well as right across the way adjacent to the property that are highly regarded in the state. The most secluded property you can imagine, it is home to some truly magnificent wildlife. There is no littering, and absolutely no hunting. As a nature lover, the respect I have shown these animals, is the reason why they love it here. Who knows what you may see! Firewood is available for purchase at the top of the driveway. It is handcut and seasoned for 3 years and stored in a custom hutch. $5 a compartment money goes in the mailbox.

The meadow we occupy was once the farmers property that I grew up next to at my parents farm house.
When he wanted to sell his property he offered it to us for purchase at a fair price if we would not develop more than we needed to live here.
We maintained the meadow adjacent to our property and have kept it as an agricultural site.
We have had our son develop an edible forest garden and a unique diversified small orchard so we can eat and share healthy organic fruits and vegetables while helping our environment and wildlife and educating others to do the same.
It is expensive to live in Newtown but we love our property.
We want to teach others to grow food from their land while helping to support us keeping our adjacent property agricultural and undeveloped.
Our property has provided many happy gatherings and events and we love to share it with others.

Various seasons will offer you an opportunity to pick your own breakfast in our maturing establishment. You can enjoy exploring, and examining our 7 year permacultuire food forest with chestnut seedlings already tall enough to climb , 10-foot hazels bearing buckets of nuts and a different selection of raspberries, blackberries, gooseberry, currents, golden berries, service berries and Mulberries. Enjoy a stroll through the meadow trail to breath in morning views and evening fireflies and stars. This camp area is very private but household amenities are not far away if desired. This site is much more private than Mickelberry Forest Garden Site and the beautiful mountain view is only a small step away. One mile away we offer nearby blue mark trails, mountain biking, lake and outdoor activities are at your fingertips and your hosts will be happy to provide any assistance needed to find or enjoy these opportunities. The Creamery (Ferris Acres) is one of the best farm ice cream shops in the East. We can provide breakfast upon request from our free range chickens on our kiwi lined deck with beautiful mountain views. Come and enjoy the croak of the bullfrog and the sound of the crickets. I took this trip with my adult son and I was as tranquil and a bounty of wildlife. The sunsets are great and you’re perch on a hill overlooking a lake so quite scenic. If you want to totally disconnect be at peace and rough it a little this is the place for you. There is a a generator for light, heat and a refrigerator. We took our own portable compost and a small rinse king system to wash up..
Cooking outside was a thrill for my son as well, we gather wood from the surroundings.
Konsztantine was very responsive and quite hospitable. Quick responses to whatever we asked. Best in class host. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing camping trip with my four lifelong friends and my two boys—great mix of old memories and new ones. We hiked to waterfalls, played games by the fire, and soaked in the fall scenery along the river. The cabin was simple but perfect, and the best part was watching my kids jump right in with the crew, making it feel like the traditions we started as kids are carrying on to the next generation.

We had such a lovely time here. Waterfalls galore! We did an overnight since we are total amateur campers but with the stay it was wonderful. We did this with our 7yo and 4yo and even took multiple dips in the waterfalls (mid-September). The water was cold but completely invigorating. The scene was very tranquil, peaceful and just secluded enough for us city dwellers! Including the waterfall right on premises, we were able to experience a total of 4 tremendous falls and the gorgeous Mongaup river. There was beautiful plant life along the walks surrounding the campsite. What a great hidden gem! Would totally go again.

Amy was communicative and so lovely! The property is beautiful. The goats and chickens and ducks were fun camp neighbors to have. There’s a gas station and market 5 minutes away should you need anything last minute.
Due to the grass in the field being dry, we had to camp a little closer to the house than we would have preferred so that we could have easier access to load/unload our camping gear and so that we could have fresh grass to set up the fire pit over. But, it sounds like the meadow will be developed over time to allow for that! So, knowing that I think we would definitely consider returning when my friend and I continue our annual camping tradition next year!

Stayed solo for 3 days and 2 nights in one of the tiny house..really chill spot. Host was nice. The land’s natural and rustic, not fancy but pretty. Kitchen, bathroom, and shower are outside and shared with others (different but fine). Cute animals and fresh eggs for sale.
There’s a bike trail with a lake right across the road! perfect for a ride.
Tried Threshold and Innes nearby, 30min ish ride..both were solid.
Overall, a laid-back solo escape in nature.

This place was fantastic! My group and I had the best time with being able to hike, camp, swim and play football. Also we had good use of our porta-pottie/bathroom close to our site and had a shed where we could keep our items dry if it rained. I highly recommend to anyone and we are definitely coming back again next year!

This place is really cool! It’s nothing like a normal campground, there are out door kitchen areas that are shared and stocked with everything you could need equipment-wise. There is a beautiful pond, a working sauna, and a free use outdoor clawfoot tub, an amphitheater with a stage for events, and so much more. Dogs are allowed off leash so they can roam somewhat freely along the property as long as they are well behaved. There is a barn with a shop on the property where you can pick up meats, eggs, etc all handled through cash or Venmo transactions all honor system based. The property is huge so you don’t feel like you are on top of other people at all and each site has its own picnic table, fire pit and firewood stock. This is a place that you can tell reuses, repurposes, and up cycles what they can and they have done an amazing job making it feel cool and laid back. Our least favorite part were the outhouses (bathrooms) because they are pit style bathrooms, no flushing toilets. Nonetheless, I would recommend anyone to come check this place out. Josh was super nice and always available by text if needed. Highly recommend
