Sites are located less than a 400 yard hike from the parking area, each site having both a picnic table and fire ring. There is an outhouse located within 250 yards from all sites. This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. There are State Parks and places to hike one of the many gorges around beautiful Seneca Lake and surrounding area. Take a tour of the many wineries and breweries which our region is famous for. We do have bear and a mountain lion up here. We are 420 friendly! Sites are on top of the hill in a very secluded spot with a small campfire. We offer organic vegetables from the garden and work almost everyday in our blacksmith/woodworking shop. My husband purchased this land to build his house on before we got together. After he purchased the land, he spent the next year building the perfect house on top of the hill at the end of our long driveway. We have a beautiful view from our front porch. We have discovered from my Grandmother that this same property happens to be the same property that my Great, Great Grandparents used to farm and cut firewood on. Just 20 minutes from Keuka Lake and 25 to all the shopping and dining experiences that you could ever want in downtown Corning along with hundreds of NYS breweries and wineries to enjoy during the day. Return to the hill for a quiet campfire in the evening. Their are several nearby rivers and lakes to canoe or kayak, hiking trails all over the region and even in our own backyard! However it is close to our house so if you want more privacy we recommend staying at one of the other sites.  But their is plenty of room here for a larger group.  Site #5 is secluded by itself on the far side of the field on the right hand side of our driveway. The best way to get to it is to take the road to the end of the field. You will find an vehicle accessible path next to the tree line.    Site #6 is the first spot you will find off the driveway it is before the play area and tucked in the trees #6 offers more shade but would be better for a tent. New this year! Windy Ridge Cabin. The cabin can sleep up to 6. Spacious and clean. The cabin sits on the edge of the woods and overlooks the valley to the left.

Drift off to the sound of the creek, sheltered from the rain. Cook over the fire, play guitar and sing. This secluded campsite on an agroforestry farm, where we grow chestnuts, along with 15 types of fruit and a handful of annual vegetables. The biodiversity is vibrant, and the birding is very good. 12 minute drive from Ithaca, 8 minutes to the center of Trumansburg, 7 minute drive from Grassroots, + supermarket, pharmacy etc, 6 minutes to the lower entrance of Taughannock Falls State Park Fire pit, grate, and firewood provided. No shower available, but the creek is deep enough to dunk in. No RV hookup available. Composting toilet nearby. No buckets needed. Campsite is about 400 yards from the road; car access to within 150 feet. The bugs aren't bad at all, because there's no standing water around, but bring bug spray if they like you. If you're looking for a place for excessive or underage drug/alcohol consumption, we're not here to narc you, but please find a different campsite. We had such a great stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their sweet pup made the visit even better. Steve's property was beautiful! We were graciously greeted by Lucy and Steve's wife(I'm so sorry to be blanking on her name, she was very welcoming as well!). Our stay was shorter than we would've liked, but following a nice dirt path to get to our site, we came to a nice cleared out space, with plenty of firewood with some covered just in case of rain. I had my wife and 2 year old with me, and it was so nice to sit by the fire, with absolutely ZERO light pollution to see the stars, and nothing but the sounds of owls and other wildlife in the area. We're already looking forward to booking another trip sometime next year!

This was our second time camping at Ken's (this time with friends and their baby) and it was just as beautiful as we remembered it! Coming later in the season from our first visit meant more rain and fewer campers on the property, which was autumnally idyllic with all of the changing colors on the surrounding trees. It was a wonderful treat as ever to have those waterfalls as our shower throughout our stay. Already looking forward to our next trip out!

Weekend Trip to Hawk Meadow Farm

We loved camping at the Pine Tree site! It was beautiful, quiet and secluded while still being conveniently located between Watkins Glen and Ithaca. Steve and his wife Anne were lovely hosts and always available to answer questions. Their shop was full of all sorts of treasures from handmade soaps and beautiful cards to tinctures made from mushrooms grown on the farm. The bath house has a composting toilet, cold water sink and shower that is solar heated in the summer. It's beautifully built earthen constuction decorated with gorgeous repurposed glass. Thank you for the much needed get away, we hope to be back soon!

Weekend Trip to Hawk Meadow Farm

Peaceful and secluded campsites. Both existing camp sites seem like they would comfortably fit at least 2 couples if you wanted to double up. The property has great wilderness to wander, and the hosts, including Lucy the sheep dog are all wonderful. The bathhouse is an earthen building with a cold water sink and shower, and a composting toilet. Beware of what you are getting into with that, and you'll be fine if you are used to those things. Both sites have pull-through capability if you are pulling a micro camper like I was, and prefer not to back up with it. Easy drive into Watkins Glen, moderate drive to Ithaca.
