Tranquility Trails is a Eco retreat center located on a private game preserve. It was established on 9-16-2013 in loving memory of my father, Frank Bileti. The center is nestled within 138 acres of the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in the Southern tier of Western New York. This is the ideal place for folks who enjoy secluded, quiet, private places to unwind, relax and commune with the elements of nature. Activities include: hiking, biking, snow shoeing, bird watching, wildlife observation, meditation, stargazing etc. We currently offer 2 cabins, a cottage, 3 tent sites (1 is fully furnished). The cabins, cottage, tent sites & trails are very private and secluded. Each site has its own private entrance. There is approximately 10 miles of professionally groomed, maintained trails for guests to share for recreational purposes. The trails are marked and 10-15' wide. They range in difficulty. The southern section of the property ascends abruptly from 2050'-2250'. The northern range is less abrupt. It has been my passion & a genuine labor of love to keep this environment as pristine as possible. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide a place for man to be nurtured, where nature & wildlife will thrive, always striving to keep the environment as pristine & serene as possible. Welcome to Hemlock Hollow! Located just 2 miles north of the historic village of Watkins Glen. It is also at the very start of the Finger Lakes Wine trail on the West side of stunning Seneca Lake! We have two cozy cabins available. Each one room cabin can accommodate up to four guests. Inside you will find a set of bunk beds, a fold out futon, a dresser and a corner table. Linens for the beds and towels are also provided. We rent the cabins separately or together as a package. Each large cabin site is equipped with a fire ring for hot dog roasting and s'more making! Fire wood is available for purchase. There is also a propane camp stove at each cabin and a percolator coffee pot. We also supply a few frying pans and utensils for communal use. The property itself is very quiet and secluded with a creek that runs through. There is NO ELECTRICITY in the cabins or Bath House, but some solar lighting through out the cabins and Bath House.

Weekend Trip to The Spotted Sandpiper

Spent 3 nights in Glamp 1 in October of 2025. It was 40s at night and rained 2 of the nights, but we stayed warm with the heater (and an electric blanket we brought)! It was dry inside the tent despite the rain. Area is beautiful. Due to weather, didn't spend any time on the lake, but did make use of the shower areas, which worked well - hot water and shower/bathroom walkable from Glamp 1. Kate answered all questions before and during the stay. Shampoo/conditioner and towels provided. Great affordable glamping experience!!

Great stay no one bothered us the site was clean and prepped for us when we arrived and there was extra toilet supplies in the pop up potty tent. There is another tent site maybe 50 ft away. It poured the second night and everything stayed dry within the tent. We didn’t get any super amazing views from the lick brook falls trail and the lake Treman loop but it’s been very dry so the falls/lake were very low

2 nights at Stergelandia

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Stergelandia. We stayed in the Gumdrop cabin which was decorated beautifully and peacefully with colorful tapestries and pillows. Despite it being chilly out we were able to sleep comfortably with extra blankets and some hand warmers. It rained one morning and watching/hearing it fall on the plexiglass wall was amazingly beautiful. We enjoyed the observation deck and took a short hike. We made a cozy fire and used the cooking gear provided to make a nice dinner. We cannot wait for our film to be developed as every part of this trip was stunning. We will definitely be back, Jennifer was a great host and has made a beautiful nature oasis on her land.

Weekend Trip to Orchard and Gorge At South Hill

Camping at the cider orchard was a relaxing experience. The bed and raised platform canvas tent offered some comforts of home, but otherwise the site was a typical campsite with a fire pit, picnic table, and chemical toilet. You can see the other site from here if you’re curious. The price was a bit more than other hip camp sites we’ve stayed at for the amenities offered, but the location is convenient near Ithaca which made it worth the price for the weekend. The light that shines through the canvas tent was quite nice, diffused by the white cloth, pretty views of the field from the front door, and it felt safe at night. The nature preserve is literally steps from the site with beautiful trails, which adds to the value of the site, and there were a few finger lakes trail hikers passing by.

We loved this campsite! Everything was set up when we arrived, and it was easy to find with Steve’s instructions. Loved waking up to beautiful birds (hello American Kestrel!) and some sweet sheep friends. Having the FLX trail right outside of the site was perfect- did a great 8 mile loop through Buttermilk falls state park. The cider at South Hill was delicious- being able to walk right down was another bonus. All in all a great stay and we’ll likely return.
