Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort is a newly acquired 147 Acre property with a 26 acre lake located 10 minutes from Letchworth Park. Wiscoy Creek famous for trout fishing also runs through a portion of the property. There's canoeing, hiking, fishing, & swimming in an all natural setting. We have 25 primitive tent sites, 16 RV sites that have water and electric, 4 hotel rooms, 5 premium cabins and 5 rustic cabins. Wildlife including a pair of bald eagles, geese, herons, turtles, and birds of all kinds live on the property. All sites have a fire ring with grill and a picnic table. We are pet friendly up to 3 pets. Open May 15th - October 30th Closed October 31st - May 14th

No Electric unless you're camping with friends at 111 or 112 cause they're just close enough for a 75' extension to reach your site.

Creekside tent sites are primitive sites with no water, electric and are for the adventurer. There are rock fire rings and the sound of the creek. That sound will lull you to sleep at night. It's a rugged primitive and very private camping experience. Only available through Hipcamp. Trout fishing on the creek with NYS fishing license. New York's main trout season runs from April 1 to October 15 every year. Or just relax with a camp chair in the shallows of the rocky bottom creek or swim in one of the many swimming holes. The water is clean clear constant refreshing 69 degrees.

Oak is one of our premium cabins with a double bed, bunk bed, and futon. Amenities included are a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. Oak is located in Wiscoy Village and is conveniently located next to the Wiscoy Village bathhouse. AC/Heat is included. Oak is a large 400 sq ft cabin that sleeps 6 comfortably. Site 201 Boondock
This was a lovely campground that offered a number of boondock sites that were available last minute on a holiday weekend. It was less than 10 minute drive to Letchworth State Park which is an incredible place to visit. We plan to stay here the next time we come to the area.

This campground was clean and at a great location - not too far from Letchworth Park. I also recommend getting there before 8pm as locating your site might be difficult at night. We were able to figure it out from their instructions and map. Very friendly staff as well I just wish they were more responsive during our stay. The bathroom/shower room was locked when we tried to use it and I never heard back from the staff until the next day when we were leaving. So, be mindful that your only bathroom may just be a porta potty and you might not have a chance to shower.

It was a delightful stay. We enjoyed the place and it had good availability of tree for hanging our hammocks. It's a bit hard to find the tent sights in the dark as the road to them is just following other tire marks in the grass.

We stayed at tent site 26 no utilities and right on the lake. This is a great site nice and grassy spots were uneven but that was ok for us. There were 2 Porta potties and a wash jug which was nice. The campground has a lot of potential which I am sure the owners are working hard to bring to fruition. The lady who checked us in was nice, informative, helpful and hardworking !!! wow sh

Loved this spot so much! Came for my first solo camping trip with my dog. It was quiet, only the sound of loons in the night. My cup of tea for sure. The staff were helpful and patient with me even after I drove on the trail by accident😬 I kayaked around and it was serene, calm and peaceful. I know I’ll be back here thanks for an aw some weekend.

Absolutely loved our long weekend at site 23. Great tent site with views of the lake. While this site does not boarder the water, the views are still stunning. Very nice walking trail along next to the site. Fishing near the campsite was successful, but shallow. Will definitely be planning on bringing kayaks next time! Staff was very friendly, various activities onsite but they are also willing to give you your space. We definitely return soon!

Beautiful lot with access to the creek. Very refreshing, Hill down to the parking near is iffy when rained, we parked at top on 2nd night and walked to it.

I will not use hip camp again. I made a reservation in early February I texted the owner of the campsite several times and even the morning of our arrival I received a text welcoming me. However upon arrival there was not a reservation. After showing the confirmation and correspondence.we were put on a site. However the campground said they have numerous problems with this app. Will not use again. Lots of frustration and unfulfilled promises ..

I'm going to chalk our experience up to the fact that they opened earlier than their typical season for the solar eclipse. We hit a snafu from the start when we reserved one site but were contacted and informed that site was already booked on their other booking platform so we were given the option between two other sites (that were not lakeside like we wanted). We looked at the campsite map on their website and chose a site only to find upon arrival that their camp map changed and the old one was online so we weren't at the site we had selected based on the old map. The site we did get was nice and spacious however, so other than the fact that we were not lakeside it was still a good fit for us. The other issue was that after our first night we stopped by the showers but found out they were locked and not open yet. We were not made aware during check-in (or booking) that the showers would not be open so that was a bit of a bummer to not have running water other than the jugs of water provided by the port-a-potties. We ended up checking out a night early because of the lack of showers. Overall, the location is nice being a 15 minute drive to Letchworth State Park and the two staff members were interacted with during our staff were friendly and welcoming.

We stayed at this campground during the 2024 April eclipse! They are not normally open this early in the year, but opened especially for the event, and I booked it because I felt confident I could reach in a 2wd vehicle. The staff were all super warm and helpful, both prior to our stay in messages as well as during our stay. There were a good number of portapotties as well as 2 shower rooms that were available. We had a lovely stay, and could see how it would be even nicer in the summer, when it is warm enough for the lake. We would stay here again.

This is a beautiful place to camp right on the lake with a nice trail to circle the lake and maybe 15 minutes from Letchworth State Park. Even though we were there for the preseason, our hosts made every effort to have all the amenities available!

We had a great time this past weekend at Letchworth Valley. We had three families spread between two sites. We really enjoyed relaxing in a peaceful setting without the big crowds. Our site had a beautiful view of the lake. There’s a nice loop to walk through the woods, unfortunately it rained most of Saturday so we couldn’t do as much exploring as we would have liked. We saw the resident pair of Bald Eagles named Feathers and Fiona flying across the water. We also saw some Heron. There was a group of Canadian Geese and they left a lot of “evidence” along the shore and on the dock. The kids had a good time fishing and catching toads. Even the adults loved the awesome water slide (which is basically a downhill slip and slide and it is FAST!) The bathrooms/ showers were very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They would stop by to see if we needed anything, and it was cool chatting with them. The only thing I could suggest as an improvement would be putting some big fountains in the swimming areas of the lake to help move the water. It was very still so there was a lot of algae, which made it impossible for swimming. I think putting one in by the beach area would make the water much cleaner. A floating dock to swim out to would be great. My family is definitely interested in another visit soon!

Site 201 Boondock
We stayed at a boondocking site for three days in our camper van. Overall, there was great communication from the host who answered all of my questions before the trip, a clean bathhouse with showers and bathrooms, and vast property to explore. However, I wouldn’t recommend the boondocking site as it is in an open field without shade. The area smells of manure from the nearby farm (most of the other tent and RV sites are further away so they don’t have this issue as we noticed). It would have been great to have an option for a boondocking site located with better scenery and some shade like many of the other sites. We didn’t need an RV site with hookups as we are fully off grid so this was the best option without paying for an upgrade we didn’t need. If you are in the same situation, I would recommend just paying for the RV site for a better view/shade. Lastly, the swimming area needs some improvement. The campground has potential for the future! Note: If you are visiting Letchworth, this campsite is about a 15 minute drive from the park…not to be confused with the actual state park campground.

Quiet great campground! We loved our stay. The shower house was clean and a great perk. Lake view sites are beautiful and we saw so much wildlife! Bald eagle, beaver, turtles, and a great place for bird watching. Will go back.

Nice view of the water, close to porta potties (which were very clean!) and drinking water, not too close to other tents. Fire ring with grate and picnic tables clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Didn’t want to leave Letchworth Valley Campground! We had a great three-night camping experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Tent site was spacious and private. There are port-a-potties conveniently located near most sites, and showers/private bathroom available that was very clean. We loved watching the sunset and stargazing in the lovely wild flower field, walking/biking the ~1.5 mile trail around the private pond, and seeing tons of beautiful wildlife — including a bald eagle! Located about a 15 min drive to Letchworth State Park, I highly recommend if you are looking for a good campground in the area.
