Holly has a great setup boardering state park land with trails that connect. The area has a lot to offer with some great hikes. They have potable water available close to the camp site and a porta potty at the site. If you like animals, they have all sorts of farm friends for you to watch and visit with. Weekend Trip to Adirondack Adventure Base

Woodland Grove Camping at Adirondack Adventure Base is such a gem. The property is calm, pristine, and full of charm with cute little trails to wander right on-site. It feels like a perfect mix of peaceful and fun. Bob and Sheila are the kindest, most thoughtful hosts, and it was such a treat getting to spend time with them. Mim is just the coolest human being ever and made the stay even more special. We also got to try their maple syrup, which truly was the best we’ve ever had. The spot is also in an ideal location, just a short drive to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and some of the most beautiful hiking and sightseeing in the Adirondacks. We left already talking about when we’ll come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable Adirondack stay.

Paige and I had a wonderful time at Scott’s site! The views were incredible, beautiful sunrises and sunsets were had. The site itself had a lot of great amenities and was well maintained. Scott was a phenomenal host who quickly answered any of the questions we had and gave us plenty of privacy. Plenty of great trails to hike around just a short drive away. Would highly recommend having a larger vehicle like an SUV to get to the site and navigate the terrain. I drive a Toyota rav4 and got around just fine. Would definitely recommend this site, we had a phenomenal time.

Our family of six had the most amazing time camping at the Black Hole and Dunkley Falls campsite. The tents and accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and far exceeded our expectations. The Fords went above and beyond to make our stay special—bringing us warm water for showers and even surprising me with cupcakes for my birthday. They truly think of everything, making it a completely carefree glamping experience. We loved exploring Dunkley Falls and jumping into the Black Hole, both just a short walk from camp. We loved staying here, it was quiet and peaceful ! We will definitely be back in the future. We loved how the fire pit, picnic table and swing were separated with little paths to each. Directions, check in and check out were very easy. Scott answered all my questions super fast.

Weekend Trip to Kickin' Up Dust Farm

We loved camping at Hee Haw Haven! My kids loved all of the different animals, play areas, zip line, and camping for the first time. Holly and her husband were so welcoming and generous. They want to return soon (in their minds all camping happens there) and wonder if they can build a portal to get there faster.

Amazing! 100% recommend. My son and I went white water rafting nearby and found this amazing site for two nights of camping. Absolutely everything has been thought of and it is clear the owners have invested significantly in making this an idyllic spot. The kitchen area is fully stocked and the tents are extremely spacious. Being able to drive or walk down the road to the Black Hole was a highlight. The owners were kind and hospitable and I would recommend this to anyone. Perfect location for family or friends gathering.

Beautiful camping spot! Waterfall steps away from the firepit. Saw salamanders, fishes, a watersnake, and crayfishes. Reserve the creekside campsite, you wont regret it. 10/10 recommend

The creekside location is great! Short walk from the parking spot, fairly private from the other two sites, and very peaceful. The fire pit, picnic table and bench, shade/rain tarp, grill grate, and tongs were nice bonuses. Good spot for our tent, shade structure, and trees for a laundry line. Biggest downside is the biting flies (late July), but that's just part of camping. Definitely head upstream to the swimming hole and sun deck!

Everything you need is truly provided. Sue and Jim were great hosts making sure we stayed comfortable. Our two dogs loved running around the property. Sleeping in a canvas tent with a real mattress (king size) was awesome for my pregnant (3rd trimester) wife!

Weekend Trip to Vergennes Hilltop

I absolutely loved sleeping here! It was quiet and peaceful we could hear the wildlife and see million of fireflies at night it was stunning. The birds in the morning were perfect singing their songs (: It was a bit buggy at night but nothing a little bug spray could help (def bring some!)! This place is a perfect secluded and safe pull off for the night! 10/10 would recommend and would sleep here again!!

4 nights at Scott’s Summit

We had a lovely stay at Scott’s tent. The view was absolutely beautiful and made the entire stay worthwhile! It was also such a perk having a flushing toilet and creek water for washing. If you’re thinking of booking Scott’s tent, a couple of things to note: Although there is a road that takes you close to the tent, you have to park in a designated parking area which requires about 200 feet of an uphill hike to get your things to the tent. The paths were a little overgrown and the road up was a little tricky. We had no issues in our Jeep Wrangler, but I probably wouldn’t want to drive the road in anything with lower clearance or a much wider body. You can hear the highway at the site, but we got used to it after the first day. There is a flushing toilet in a tent not too far from the main camp, which we loved having available! The site is also very private, which we loved! All in all, as long as you feel comfortable with the drive and hike up, this was a nice spot to spend a long weekend.
