food to our community. We love to play music and get together with our friends and have been hosting people for some time. We thought that hipcamp could introduce people to our mission and make some extra money to get the farm off the ground.
Ugly Apple Farms is a diverse place. We have opportunities for farm classes, pick your own veggies and more. We also have 1800 feet of access to the Neversink River.
We recommend four wheel drive for some of our sites so please ask about them.
We are an off grid farm with access to some solar for charging. We have tent sites and room for campers. Our camping is primitive but there is access to potable water and sanitation if needed. All extras are first come first serve if not reserved in advance. We love and welcome any questions!

Simply perfect. Randy is wonderful, the property is massive, our site was on the river bank with nobody around. The forest is gorgeous, the quiet and privacy were such a treat - you'd never get that at official State Parks campgrounds.
The tradeoff is the lack of pretty bathrooms and showers, but WHO CARES??
Loved every minute of it. Thank you Randy, we can't wait to be back!

Our stay at Ugly Apples farm was absolutely wonderful! My daughter and I stayed at camp site 7. It was right next to the river, and very private. Randall is a wonderful host and made us feel like family. I recommend the cheese making class and also (if offered) to take Randall up on a pizza meal. He makes world-class pizza. Overall Randall and his family are just a wonderful host, so friendly and just incredible human beings. Can't wait to be back

Harbour House was a great find. Right off the 95. Rob let us know about the area. There is a nice bike route/walk on the water and a new outdoor restaurant and creamery, Riva, that just opened in the route. Walkable and very nice. We also sat in the patio for our morning coffee that overlooks the harbor. We would return and recommend Harbor House

Harbour House was a great find. It’s not easy finding spots off the interstate. We needed a spot on our way to NYC and this worked out well. We added two more nights. As noted, it is right next door to the public boat launch, but city maintenance keeps it cleaned up. Also the police monitor it on a regular basis. We would recommend Zuppardi’s Apizza. A local spot. We enjoyed it. We would come again.

Also very conveniently located from NYC for those looking to escape the city for a bit. Can't recommend this place enough!
