Best camping experience ever! Can’t wait to go back - Ed and Rick are the best and completely set you up for everything plus the complementary breakfast is so good! Fell in love with the goats and the beautiful tree house! Great property, just remote enough to clear your head and connect to nature w/ some minor amenities that make it feel closer to glamping than camping.

It was all wonderful! The sleeping arrangement was surprisingly comfortable, our needs were asked after and met well. The animals were just great! I loved all of them-so sweet! Such tender care that was put into the making of this place and the love shown to our fuzzy friends, you would be hard pressed to find it's equal. I will always cherish the memories we made there.
I'll probably go back and try the yurt!

This is a wonderful hidden slice of heaven! Our four year old adored the mornings with the goats around the farm and fire pit, especially on the trampoline! Hospitality was top notch, and not to mention the fulfilling breakfasts. Perfect getaway and would recommend to all. Thanks again gentlemen!

Weekend Trip to Mariaville Goat Farm Yurt
We had an amazing stay in the tree house. It is very clear how much thought and effort has gone into creating an amazing experience for guests on the farm. We could have packed much lighter as Rick and Ed had truly thought of everything. Rick was an awesome host who was very warm and communicative. The goats were very fun to hang out with and watch. Despite a rainy weekend, Rick made sure we got plenty of time with the goats.

We absolutely loved staying here! Everything was so thoughtfully set up for us and Josh provides any supplies you could think of needing. The site is tucked in the corner of a large field and you have plenty of privacy, while also not being too far of a walk to get to.

The Goat Farm Tree House experience was a once in a lifetime experience - my wife's first time on a trampoline, let alone on with seven goats! Rick and Ed delivered an incredible experience that extended to all aspects of our tree house yurt - from the Lord of the Ring's-esque design to the open spaces, the airiest outhouse, the breakfasts (cinnamon rolls and biscuits, each accompanied with fresh apple cider), the dinner (a whole lotta chili!), and even a small kit for S'mores! Goat yoga, chasing goats from our place, walking with the goats - Frodo, Iris, Phillip, you'll be missed furry friends! Two nights is a must to properly appreciate all there is to offer.

We had the best time during our camping trip at Marilaville Goat Farm! Huge thanks to We and Rick for being such amazing hosts. From the moment we showed up, they made us feel completely at home.
The farm is beautiful and peaceful, and it gave us a chance to slow down and really connect with the land—and with each other. We loved the goats and especially a very friendly cat named Jack.
We can’t thank We and Rick enough for their kindness, generosity, and for making this trip that much better. We’ll definitely be back!

This place was awesome. Tara thought of everything you could possibly need. A/C for the warm summer nights, an outdoor shower, beautiful fire ring, chairs, bbq with grilling utensils, etc. I could not speak more highly of the setup. My group had an unforgettable time at this site. Do yourselves a favor and book here - you would not regret it.

The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. I love traditional camping, but that is difficult to do with a two-year-old. The treehouse site on this property allowed me to enjoy many of the things I love about traditional camping, while also being comfortable for my family. Our two-year-old loved interacting with the goats, as well as a very friendly cat who dropped by for regular visits. Ed and Rick were incredibly accommodating and responsive to our needs - they even went above and beyond by freezing some ice packs for me so I could tend to a pre-existing knee injury. They are wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this site for families, or anyone else interested in a hassle-free and comfortable outdoor getaway.

Weekend Trip to The TrailHouse
Great amenities, including the super nice hot showers on a cold rainy long weekend. We had a big group which was perfect for the campsite as we could take over the many sites. Bell Tent stayed warm and dry, although some of the blankets and things were slightly damp by the end of the wet weekend, just due to the humidity. Air mattress was *very* comfy. Bike access to trails and town is unparalleled. Great vibes all around!

We honestly weren't sure what to expect for our weekend in the Bell tent. Sure, the hipcamp posting looked beautiful but we were were skeptical about how private it'd actually be & with a rainy weekend forecast we began our trip hoping for the best but prepared for the worst. However, all of our concerns melted away as we pulled up to the bell tent. The location is absolutely stunning. Nestled in the lush mountain, we woke up to a view I continue to dream about. The tent itself is MASSIVE and sooo roomy. It's stocked with everything you could need including an incredibly comfortable queen bed, mini fridge, wood burning stove, all the necessities one could need while camping and beautiful string lights that provide the perfect ambient lighting. Despite the scattered showers, we spent our days hiking down the road in cherry plain state park and checking out some of the local farmers markets and antique shops in the neighboring towns of Berlin and New Lancaster. We even welcomed the rain at night as the sounds of drops hitting our tent was the perfect calming white noise to put us to sleep. So yeah - this place is amazing and we will DEFINITELY be coming back!
OH! I almost forgot to mention how incredible the host, Tarah, is! She reached out ahead of time with additional info and provided an entire spreadsheet of things to do in the area. what's more, when she saw the weather forecast was bad for my dates she offered to push my weekend back a day since it was clearing up. <3
