What to expect
Short walk to site
Parking isn't available at the site. You will park a short distance away and walk to the site (1-5 mins)
Bell tent
You'll have this Hipcamp all to yourself.

Campfires allowed
Firepit. There is a propane fire pit by the bell tent. Also, a wood fire pit is available during times without a fire ban. Firewood can be purchased on site for $8.
Toilet available
Portable toilet. There is also a portable sink with fresh water to use for handwashing.
Pets allowed
On leash. Pets are allowed on leash. There are pets on the property. We will need to have a conversation. I have a in ground fence for the pet I have.
Potable water available
Bottled water or jugs. We provide water for washing dishes, coffee and tea. Tap water is provided in a large mason jar.

Hot water , cold water only. outside shower

Compost bin, recycling bin, trash bin
Cooking equipment present
Bbq, private, stovetop or hot plate, pizza oven, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, basic seasoning and oils. There is a grill that is a griddle, grill or pizza oven. There is a Ninja cooler and two ice packs. I will exchange the ice packs to keep things cold If needed.

Safe, fun, and accommodating!
The Nest at Birds of a Feather Farm
I had an absolutely wonderful time at Laurie’s! The bell tent/yurt was exactly what I expected and more, and Laurie is beyond accommodating. She provides lots of options based on the experience you’re looking to have, and ensures all guests feel safe in her environment. We had an interesting wildlife encounter, and Laurie made sure safety was top of mind. I cannot wait to come back and stargaze on a less cloudy weekend!
