It is also not uncommon to see Bald Eagles soaring over the fields looking for their next meal. All of the property is easily accessible via our extensive trail system. Named during the pandemic, "Camp COVID Site 19" was born out of our desire to camp, as we weren't able to go camping anywhere! This camp is the back half of our property, located in the village of Tannersville. Camp is divided from our personal yard by a fence. The camp is also completely fenced in once the driveway gates are closed, allowing your pets to safely be off leash if you wish! A long stone driveway leads to camp, with a flat spot to park your skoolie, motorhome, or vehicle. There is a creek running along the entire back side of our property, outside of the fenced in area, which you can access by walking a few feet though the gates under the Camp COVID sign. We have a new bon fire pit in the center of camp, and fires are allowed as long as there is no burn ban in effect. Firewood is on site, and can be added on for $10 per night. We have 2 water hook ups and one 15 amp electric hook up on site, we just ask that you do not run an A/C unit as it will trip our main breaker. There is a dump station at North South Lake State Park and Campground only minutes away in Haines Falls. Instructions and rules are posted in the bath house which has an on demand hot water shower and a composting toilet. There is a garbage can for your convienece which is located in the shed which must be kept closed to avoid black bears visiting! There is a covered dried in area to the left of the shed. We have a half barrel charcoal grill with a flat top griddle as well as several grill grates. One of the grill grates also fits over the fire pit if you prefer fire cooking! There is an RV on site that will not be occupied during your stay, please do not enter, thank you! Come and stay and say hi!

Jeffrey’s home is on beautiful rolling hills with open space and meticulously clean barn by which you’d park your RV. It’s picturesque pleasant to be in. He’s a wonderful host. Friendly and helpful.

Todd went above and beyond at every instance that we needed him. Lovely spot, great trails in hardwood forests for dog walks. Quiet country living, beautiful pond. Couldn't ask for a better host. He even lent us his waste tote to dump black and grey tanks and even took it away with my husband to dump.

I had a wonderful time at Haines Falls. It's very conveniently located, close to Tannersville and right down the road from Kaaterskill Falls. Matthew was extremely responsive and accommodating. The property is beautiful, with some views of the surrounding mountains.

Had a great visit, was only one night but definitely going to come back again. It was nice that they had a basketball hoop along with an arcade. Outdoor pavilion with fireplace. Definitely more to check out but didn’t have the opportunity.

2 nights at Lake Lauderdale Campground

This campground is easy to park with a convenient bathroom and showers that are fairly clean. Toilets were cleaned both mornings. The last shower stall is large enough to get clothes away from shower area. The shower heads are intelligently placed facing toward the back wall and there was plenty of hot water. The washer and dryer are reasonably priced. We were there late in the season and they were doing some work with chain saws. Perhaps in preparation for the next season. Absolutely no managerial people spoke to us and the office was closed when we arrived. We just went to our reserved site.

2 nights at Peace And Quiet in the Catskills

I really enjoyed my stay in Catskill. The location is perfect for a quiet stay and James is a wonderful host providing fresh water and firewood for the campfire. As well as suggestions for attractions in the area. I woke up the 2nd morning to two deer grazing past my van window. I highly recommend this Hipcamp for anyone looking for peace and quiet. I plan to stay here again in the future.

Excellent location, so close to Saratoga Springs and Utica. We enjoyed the cozy campsite, with 30 amp service, water and sewer. Site also has toilets and showers. Matt was a great host and keeps the place in good shape.

Weekend Trip to Summit View Farm

Absolutely delightful spot. First ridge has a fire pit—a perfect, level site in a massive field with lovely views. There is another fire pit on the back ridge which we did not see until the morning for those who was something a little more secluded. Either way, a beautiful campsite and a responsive host for a great price. Perfect for breaking up a long trip from mid Atlantic to VT. Nothing but positive reviews from us. This spot will be on our list for a revisit.
