Welcome to Hemlock Hollow! Located just 2 miles north of the historic village of Watkins Glen. It is also at the very start of the Finger Lakes Wine trail on the West side of stunning Seneca Lake! Beautiful location and views! The cabin is so lovely- straight forward but also well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches and art! Loved hanging on the screen-in porch and being able to take a hot shower outside. Sauna was incredible, just takes time and patience :) Air mattress was comfier than I expected too. I hope to return for another staycation in the woods soon!

But it was still secluded enough to feel we were alone, and the area is beautiful! It's super cute and close to all the amazing sights in the Finger Lakes.

We stayed in The Loon cabin. It was super cute and nice. Simple necessities with all bases covered. The property was so large and had shoreline and wooded and field walking so we never even needed to leave to walk the dogs. We came AFTER kids camp season and we will be back! Only a half hour drive to CMAC! Bryan was easy to reach and quick to respond.

The Heron cabin was great. Each of the 3 bedrooms had a heater and fan. The common area got chilly overnight but the bedroom stayed comfortable with the door closed. The grounds were great and our dog loved exploring. The views of the lake were spectacular and it was so peaceful sitting out on the dock. We already can’t wait to go back and take advantage of the pool, and use a kayak or canoe.
One thing to note is there is no outside lock on the cabin, though we totally felt our belongings were safe when we left during the day.

Bryan was incredibly kind, accommodating, and responsive. We rented the Hawk for 2 nights and it was perfect for our family of 4. The screened in porch is great for eating meals and playing cards. We enjoyed canoeing on the lake, and fishing on the pond. They have a very nice dock with Adirondack chairs to enjoy the lake- about 5 minutes from the cabin. They do have a pool, but it was too chilly for us to use it. No need to bring a grill or camping chairs. They have benches outside around the campfire. Also included was hand soap, dish soap, tissue, paper towels, grilling tools, microwave, toaster oven, decent sized fridge with freezer, and a fan. It has a nice rustic feel with the comforts of running water/toilet/shower. We would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin in the woods on Randy & Allison's homestead. It was very relaxing to walk the trails, visit the farm animals, and relax in the peace and quiet for a few days. We have tent camped here a few times as well. Always a great visit- a beautiful spot convenient to many local attractions but also a great place to kick back and do nothing!
