Many campsites have fire-pits already, but you're welcome to make your own anywhere you'd like. While camping, you may be visited by over 100 friendly, free roaming FARM ANIMALS! (We just had BABY GOATS born in early May and expect more at the end of June!) You may feed the animals anything you bring, but please don't let them eat plastic bags! We cannot offer reimbursement for tents damaged by animals. This is extremely rare, but it CAN happen. If you do not wish to put your tent at risk, please do not camp here. The farm was once an old bungalow colony and has some glass and metal still in the soil. Please wear shoes. Firewood is available at several locations around the farm. There is a heated sink and shower in the back corner of our main camping area. Boats are available at our lakeside dock, so you can boat to our corner store or venture into the wild north end of Swan Lake. There's a tall mountain for hiking and an awesome secret swimming hole, both within a 10 minute drive. Enjoy a child free visit, as we do not allow children under 16 years old. The 1772 Lefevre Homestead

This property was once a working apple orchard. Over regulation made it very difficult to manage so we let it lie foul for years. Then we let a fellow farmer use it to graze his cattle. Now our children has taking it over and are raising beef cattle on the property. Our campsite lies on the beautiful two and a half century old LeFevre family farmstead with rich history and stunning views of the Shawangunk Mountain ridge. The property is on a 40-acre old apple orchard that is super private and filled with dramatic views and spectacular sunsets. Wake up in your tent to the sounds of birds chirping, roasters crowing and cows just close enough but just far enough way. On occasion there may be a person driving by to tend to the cattle.

There are 40 acres here to explore with small streams, wetlands and forests. We have 4 modern brand new bathrooms with a hot showers in a beautiful new bathhouse with a charging station for phones and tablets. Its pretty amazing!!!!! We do have sulfur water, its great for your skin but smells! Each site usually has a 2 chairs, a table , a grill and a fire ring..... We also offer 3 vintage campers for a unique glamping experience. We have a 1984, a 1975 and a 1966 all with solar electric lighting. Running water is located at the camp store. Take a look at our listings or ask me. Menlo Pond

Menlo Pond is our 10 acre property where we live in the old 1885 farmhouse. There is also a large old cow barn on the property and a 2 acre pond. The HipCamp spot is down in the back of the property near the pond. There is a small beach with a dock and also a floating swim-to dock out in the middle of the pond. We share our flat bottom boat, canoe, standup paddle board and our kayaks. You can have a campfire in our firepit and use our outdoor grill. Menlo Pond is our 10 acre property where we live in the old 1885 farmhouse. There is also a large old cow barn on the property and a 2 acre pond. The HipCamp spot is down in the back of the property near the pond. There is a small beach with a dock and also a floating swim-to dock out in the middle of the pond. We share our flat bottom boat, canoe, standup paddle board and our kayaks. You can have a campfire in our firepit and use our outdoor grill. There is electrical hookup and possibly water(you provide the long hose). There is a seasonal outdoor shower and sometimes we have a rented Porta-potty.

Our home is an 18th Century Farm Getaway. A beautiful one and a half hour drive from the heart of New York City to Harlem Valley. Our home is the nucleus of a flourishing medicinal herb farm. On our land we cultivate herbs to make our salve, tea, tincture and tonics. We also grow microgreens and wild mushrooms. This is made possible with the support of visitors like you who are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved to share and build community with us. The land is surrounded by edible herbal plants. Enjoy an herb walk and harvest with one of our farmers. Join us for camping with a campfire, hiking, long walks and a private swim. The land is conveniently attached to the Appalachian Trail and sits on over 40 acres of preserved woodland forest to explore. The land also features a rustic outdoor shower next to the barn; access to fresh mountain water and a SunMar composting toilet. The main home has two plots for our communal kitchen garden, natural fountain pond of fresh watercress and creeks surrounding the home and property. Peaceful sounds of water and wildlife embrace you in the morning. Fireflies that melt into glistening stars and bright moonlight energize you by night.

BeaverWood Farm (no children)

We are a 15 acre farm on the shores of Swan Lake with plenty of campsites sites on the property, accommodating tents, mid sized campers and RV's. No children under 16 please. Depending on how crowded we are, privacy varies, but on most weekends you can be out of site of other campers. Many campsites have fire-pits already, but you're welcome to make your own anywhere you'd like. While camping, you may be visited by over 100 friendly, free roaming FARM ANIMALS! (We just had BABY GOATS born in early May and expect more at the end of June!) You may feed the animals anything you bring, but please don't let them eat plastic bags! We cannot offer reimbursement for tents damaged by animals. This is extremely rare, but it CAN happen. If you do not wish to put your tent at risk, please do not camp here. The farm was once an old bungalow colony and has some glass and metal still in the soil. Please wear shoes. Firewood is available at several locations around the farm. There is a heated sink and shower in the back corner of our main camping area. Boats are available at our lakeside dock, so you can boat to our corner store or venture into the wild north end of Swan Lake. There's a tall mountain for hiking and an awesome secret swimming hole, both within a 10 minute drive. Enjoy a child free visit, as we do not allow children under 16 years old.
