HORSES WELCOME! Why not run your horse on the beach, then come to our campsites to relax for the rest of your day. There is a fenced pasture positioned next to the sites so you can see your faithful friend enjoying some grass or hay. We have a new Zinger 29' trailer set up with a bunk room and another bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom. It can easily sleep six people. If you have your own RV, we have a full hook up at the same area. The pasture where your horse stays will also have hay, water and shelter with a run-in. This is a sanctuary for our animals. We have nine animals here, four horses (some minnies) and five donkeys (some minnies). By staying here, you will be helping us to support our animals. We are in Frankford, De which is close to all the beaches and parks. There are many shopping adventures awaiting you, either outlets or upcycle stores. If you just want to relax, there is a small pond out back stocked with bass and turtles. We have 17+ acres but we only use the front five acres and leave the rest for the deer, foxes, eagles, hawks and whatever else shows up. We believe this is Heaven on earth and would love to share it will you. So please come, stay at our farm and relax. We are here year round.

Camp in a backyard in a quiet area with a barn and horses nearby. Site 1 has water hookup and a 30 amp and 110 outlet available. Site 2 has water access and a 110 outlet available. Site 3 is for tent camping only and is more secluded. It does have water access available. These sites are a great spot to watch the sunset or watch the stars at night. These all are self contained camping spots. I do have two very friendly dogs that will most likely come say hi to you. Dewey Beer is 1 mile away in Harbeson. Lewes beach is only about 10 minutes away and Rehoboth beach is about 20 minutes away. Sports at the beach is only 5 miles away. Tanger outlets is 8 miles away. Delaware Turf sports complex is 24 miles. There are many great restaurants and shopping nearby. You can also bring your bikes and ride the bike trail from our lane to Lewes or Rehoboth! With 15,000 wooded acres, Pocomoke River State Park’s claim to fame is its stand of loblolly pine and cypress swamps bordering a wild and scenic river. We’ve intentionally created an off-grid, calming nature experience. You’ll be surrounded by forest, open farmland and abundant wildlife. Native gardens, fruit trees, nut trees and herbs were planted near the tent areas in September 2024, offering beauty and a deeper connection to the land.
Enjoy thoughtfully placed gathering spaces throughout the forest, including a whimsical Forest Tea Party area and Uncontained, our cozy repurposed shipping container—perfect for reading, board games, or shelter during a summer pop-up thunderstorm. A nature -made hammock area amongst tall pine trees is perfect for afternoon naps and are provided by us (7) Fire-pit seating, picnic tables, a charcoal grill, and a propane cooktop are also available.
Walk the short Jeremiah Dixon/Charles Mason Trail, a path similar to one they would have taken in the 1700s. Follow it through the forest and across the creek to our homestead, where you can place one foot in Maryland and one in Delaware at the historic Mason–Dixon marker beneath an old wild cherry tree.
Before heading back, stop at the main farm gate to visit our friendly goats—Dixie, Dolly, and Star.

We had our tear drop camper at site 11 on the end. Beautiful scenic view of the water. Peaceful and quiet. We traveled out this way to visit Trap Pond state park. We chose this site because we like a more quiet camping experience and the state parks are usually booked out. We were greeted by the owner, provided a picnic table, trash can, umbrella, wood and a fire pit! We will recommend to friends. Our first stay with the Hipcamp community was a success! My dogs and I enjoyed a great 3-night stay at this oasis. It was an ideal base for aquatic adventures and we had a great time fishing, exploring, and relaxing. The energetic and accommodating hosts work hard and give everything a warm and welcoming family vibe.
The pond provided great angling, with plenty of eager largemouth bass and some really beefy bluegill plus a scattering of chain pickerel. It was marvelous having it all just steps from our tent.

Camping at TJ’s site was great. There was plenty of space and the campsite was very well maintained.
Loved that they had hook ups for RVs, as well as campfire pits at the tent sites. TJ has some farm animals around his site and they were absolutely cute!
The bathrooms were an easy walk from the campsite itself, and you have to cross a beautiful bridge to get to it. They were clean and it was nice to have a shower and lockers available. The bathroom lights are on a timer, so be sure to check that when using them, especially at night, so the lights don’t turn off on you!
Otherwise, TJ was extremely responsive, accommodating, and friendly. I was able to check in early and leave my belongings on site safely if I ever needed to step away. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, and thank you for being a lovely host!

I loved tent camping here!! My friend and I stayed the night for labor day weekend after going to the beach and it was such a lovely change of pace from OC. Very easy check in and check out. We didn't have any issues/needs while staying but the host, TJ seems very responsive and helpful!

This was the perfect place for our family to get away and enjoy some quality family time. We had a blast fishing the pond (we caught bass, pickerel and sunnies) and our six kids enjoyed the water slide most of all. Everyone we met during our stay was friendly, the owner was welcoming and has seriously thought of everything. We were offered the use of a canoe during our stay, life jackets provided for all ages and we even had the privilege of a boat ride around the pond. If you are looking for a place where you will want to come back again and again this is the place. We truly enjoyed having the opportunity to share in the owners little slice of heaven and hope to come back. Very dog and kid friendly: we are a family of 8 + dog.

We stayed at this cute little campsite for two nights and really enjoyed our time here. It’s such a pretty and peaceful little place! The owner was very sweet, friendly, and attentive. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to meet her in person because our schedule was so busy, but she was wonderful to communicate with.
The little house in the middle of the property was adorable, and the portable bathroom was surprisingly very clean and well kept. We didn’t get a chance to use the shower during our stay, so I can’t really comment on that.
My kids especially had so much fun feeding the turtle—it was definitely one of the highlights for them!
My only real complaint was the amount of daddy longlegs around the campsite. There were quite a lot of them, which made us a little uncomfortable at times. Of course, we were camping and bugs are part of being outdoors, but there were definitely more than we expected. 😂
Overall, it was a charming little campsite, and we enjoyed our two-night stay!

Small home town venue with a very friendly camp feel. The lake was great and watching the water skiing was so cool. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We had site 1 and our guest in site 2 was awesome. Pet friendly was a major plus. I’m sure we will be back. Great stay.
