All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property. The Terry is an adorable vintage 1970’s camper trailer nestled in the back corner secret garden area of Marina 59, a marina on the bayside of Far Rockaway, Queens, NYC filled with creative structures, beautiful boats and wonderful wildlife. The RV has a queen size bed that comfortably fits 2. There is a new, powerful AC, a toaster oven, a fridge, a hot water kettle, and all the kitchen basics. The bathrooms, with large comfortable showers, are a quick walk away at the Marina entrance. Your rental includes parking in the marina lot and a clicker to come and go as desired. Outside the doors, there’s a decent super market, a Dunkin’ Donuts, and a gas station. The beach is only three blocks away. The beach where numerous surf lessons take place is 9 blocks away. We are close to JFK airport - super convenient, but you will hear some plane traffic overhead. We're the perfect spot to stay if you have a layover at the airport and want to head to the beach. The marina is also home to Sail Rockaway, that has sailing lessons and trips along the beautiful Jamaica Bay. Great birdwatching as well because we are located at the edge of the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. It's truly a magical spot! In addition, I've opened a shipping container store, Tree Rock NYC, right by the bathroom. Please stop in and check us out! The Terry is a perfect retreat for surfers, sun lovers, bird watchers and anyone who loves to enjoy all that Rockaway has to offer. And it’s an easy breezy subway / bus / ferry / drive away from the city! In summer, there are surfing classes, sailing and fishing trips, and numerous concerts and performances. I'm very willing to help you find the fun and adventure you seek here in Rockaway.

Guest access Guests will be able to use the whole home and lake access in the backyard. There is ample parking in front paved driveway. You will be receiving a door code the day before your travel, it is a unique code that will only activate at time of check in. * Host will require a liability waiver after booking. Our HOA requires a tenant registration form filled out and submitted a week prior to arrival ( for last minute bookings, you will need to submit this form back as soon as I send it with your confirmation). *For lake fishing: You need a fishing license to fish in any lake in PA. Security and Game commission does show up to check so make sure you are in compliance. Host will not be responsible for you ticket violation if caught. Our dock will only allow up to 1000 lbs of weight at once, about 4-6 persons and less if carrying a boat to launch. Guests will wear life vests on the dock, boats and swimming on the lake. Guests will not leave any personal belongings on the dock or leave out chairs to avoid any loss of property. Guests will not release the floating dock off the secured attachment on the shore anchor. The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. The Terry is an adorable vintage 1970’s camper trailer nestled in the back corner secret garden area of Marina 59, a marina on the bayside of Far Rockaway, Queens, NYC filled with creative structures, beautiful boats and wonderful wildlife. The RV has a queen size bed that comfortably fits 2. There is a new, powerful AC, a toaster oven, a fridge, a hot water kettle, and all the kitchen basics. The bathrooms, with large comfortable showers, are a quick walk away at the Marina entrance. Your rental includes parking in the marina lot and a clicker to come and go as desired. Outside the doors, there’s a decent super market, a Dunkin’ Donuts, and a gas station. The beach is only three blocks away. The beach where numerous surf lessons take place is 9 blocks away. We are close to JFK airport - super convenient, but you will hear some plane traffic overhead. We're the perfect spot to stay if you have a layover at the airport and want to head to the beach. The marina is also home to Sail Rockaway, that has sailing lessons and trips along the beautiful Jamaica Bay. Great birdwatching as well because we are located at the edge of the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. It's truly a magical spot! In addition, I've opened a shipping container store, Tree Rock NYC, right by the bathroom. Please stop in and check us out! The Terry is a perfect retreat for surfers, sun lovers, bird watchers and anyone who loves to enjoy all that Rockaway has to offer. And it’s an easy breezy subway / bus / ferry / drive away from the city! In summer, there are surfing classes, sailing and fishing trips, and numerous concerts and performances. Guest access Guests will be able to use the whole home and lake access in the backyard. There is ample parking in front paved driveway. You will be receiving a door code the day before your travel, it is a unique code that will only activate at time of check in. * Host will require a liability waiver after booking. Our HOA requires a tenant registration form filled out and submitted a week prior to arrival ( for last minute bookings, you will need to submit this form back as soon as I send it with your confirmation). *For lake fishing: You need a fishing license to fish in any lake in PA. Security and Game commission does show up to check so make sure you are in compliance. Host will not be responsible for you ticket violation if caught. Our dock will only allow up to 1000 lbs of weight at once, about 4-6 persons and less if carrying a boat to launch. Guests will wear life vests on the dock, boats and swimming on the lake. Guests will not leave any personal belongings on the dock or leave out chairs to avoid any loss of property. Guests will not release the floating dock off the secured attachment on the shore anchor. NO ACCESS to lake Spillway: At any time, do not attempt to swim or hang out on or near the lake spillway ( located to the right of propery) This is very dangerous and is a violation of our HOA rules. You can fish on our lake using our dock. We provide some kayaks and boats for some water activities and also have a game area that includes a shuffleboard, a pool table, electronic dartboard, a Foosball for you to enjoy indoors. The space Our 4 bedroom two bath home is over 2000 sqft. It has an open concept entertainment area with tons of games for some friendly competition with friends and family. Some of our amenities include: - smart 70” TV. We provide Hulu (that has many channels like ESPN+ and Disney+). TV has Roku so you can access your own preferred account for streaming. 3 bedrooms have TV except bunk bed room. -king bed in largest room - Central air conditioning and heating. - electric fireplace - arcade machine with 5 games -The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary items you need to make a meal. - fire pit with plenty of chairs to sit around ( BYO firewood) - outdoor dining table -large 6 burner propane grill - Included are boats for you to use if you want some water fun, we have two pedal boats, a row boat and a tandem kayak. - We have an 8x12 floating dock with a ramp where you can launch our boats or simply sit to go fishing. -we also provide adult/child life vests Location We are located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains! Restaurants are close by, about 5 minutes away to get some pizza, chinese food or Perkins. There is also a Walmart, an ALDI and CVS if you need some last minute supplies. *There are also optional community facilities you can access for a small daily fee (currently at $5 per person a day) There is a beach, a newly renovated outdoor pool, and a basketball court. If you are interested to use the facility, you can purchase a wristband during your stay or inquire with your host prior so you can get more details about it. Guest access Guests will be able to use the whole home and lake access in the backyard. There is ample parking in front paved driveway. You will be receiving a door code the day before your travel, it is a unique code that will only activate at time of check in. * Host will require a liability waiver after booking. Our HOA requires a tenant registration form filled out and submitted a week prior to arrival ( for last minute bookings, you will need to submit this form back as soon as I send it with your confirmation). *For lake fishing: You need a fishing license to fish in any lake in PA. Security and Game commission does show up to check so make sure you are in compliance. Host will not be responsible for you ticket violation if caught. Our dock will only allow up to 1000 lbs of weight at once, about 4-6 persons and less if carrying a boat to launch. Guests will wear life vests on the dock, boats and swimming on the lake. Guests will not leave any personal belongings on the dock or leave out chairs to avoid any loss of property. Guests will not release the floating dock off the secured attachment on the shore anchor. NO ACCESS to lake Spillway: At any time, do not attempt to swim or hang out on or near the lake spillway ( located to the right of propery) This is very dangerous and is a violation of our HOA rules. You will incur a fine from security dept if caught. I really appreciate your cooperation for your safety. Other things to note Please read " HOUSE RULES" before booking. We have a Well water system, bring your own preferred water bottle for drinking. We have a water filtration system for the house and a Brita if you would like to use it. We also have a queen sofa pull out bed in the living room and a futon in the largest room for when you need it. Our home is fully equipped w/ stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, blender, dishware/flatware, drip coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, spices, bar seating. Firewood is not included. Bring your own firewood for the fire pit.

Our stay at Riverhouse Farm couldn’t have fallen on a more perfect weekend. We enjoyed how conveniently placed and framed everything was. From the view of the river from the tent, sitting around the fire as the moon rises between the trees, or where the sun and moon sit perfectly when they’re at the peak and the trees that frame it. We slept comfortably in the canvas tent and using the wood burning stove was easy. Conveniently, there’s a grill which made cooking a lot easier. The fresh eggs cooked over the fire were superb! We arrived later than we had hoped and in the dark so we missed the tent off to the right when we got there but were able to find it. I would love to visit again this time next year! Such a memorable trip.

This place is phenomenal. You can see that the owners really care, everything is so nicely made in clean like I really upgraded Hotel. The hot tub took me about six hours to get my desired temperature. Part of it was because I didn’t know. I have to close the door while it was burning. But after all, it was well worth the work! I have noticed over the years there are two types of places, one, is where the owner wants to make money and have no choice, but to serve so he can collect from his guest money. Two, an owner that wants to serve his guest, but has no choice and have to charge money in order to stay open and be able to serve more people The owners from this place are from the second category, they want to give and serve their guest. A perfect mini weekend getaway! Richard met us on arrival and gave us a wonderful tour. He was also super communicative leading up to our stay which was great. The picnic table/ cupboard came in really handy for prepping and eating meals. During our stay the river was on the shallower side, but that didn’t deter us from getting out on the river to fish and explore. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to unwind and spend some time on the river!

I booked our stay on Hipcamp. Nowhere on the site did it say you could not drive up to your campsite. Ferncrest’s own site says that but it was not on Hipcamp that I saw. That really was something that I was extremely disappointed in. The whole purpose of renting there was so that we wouldn’t need to unload all of our gear and reload it back up. We wanted to leave our camping gear in our truck and pull things out as needed. Although there was a driveway at the campsite and a perfectly good circle road around the campsite, Ferncrest had it blocked off and we had to bring all of our gear down to it with a wagon. We chose this to save ourselves from all of the camping hassles. So I personally probably would not come back. With that said … Ferncrest was AMAZING in every other aspect!! I would HIGHLY recommend it. The tent itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The view was exquisite!! The beds made us all want to stay in them. The owners were very thoughtful of the needs of their guests.
