Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property. We had a great weekend in the chief’s cabin as a group of four. It truly could not have been any nicer and still be considered a cabin. The furniture and construction gives the cabin a great smell that reminds you you’re in the woods even as you’re soaking in a copper tub and surrounded by air conditioning. The site features multiple large fire pits and a full stock of wood and kindling for burning. We visited crater lake but be prepared for an almost 40 minute drive despite it being only a mile away by hiking trail. Dave is a kind and well informed host and we felt completely safe, comfortable, and secluded at his property.

The property is adorable and has exactly everything you need for a weekend away. Masen is very welcoming and showed us how everything works and responded to additional questions very quickly. The wood fired hot tub is amazing you simply have to get the unlimited firewood bundle. The tiki torch package is also super worth it. Placing them all around the site just makes the campsite 10X cozier. The record selection was also fantastic and we had so much fun listening inside and outside. My dog also loved it and said it gets 5 stars from him. 10/10 would stay again.

Masen's property was an amazing place to stay. The cabin is just perfect -- impressive craftsmanship, great use of space, and cozy enough for our family of 5. The records were fantastic, and porch speakers let you hear the music outside. The hot tub was so much fun to use (definitely get the firewood package when you book). The kids loved exploring the property, searching for fairy houses (and building some of their own). The outhouse was adorable! My kids hate using pit toilets but had no issues with this outhouse - it was lovely inside. Masen was a wonderful host, and provided everything we needed (water, fire starters, torches). We will be back!

From NOFX to Lynyrd Skynyrd, listening to all of the albums on the record player was a dream! While we did go on an excursion to the Catskills, we could have stayed and enjoyed ourselves foreverrrr. Not only does the nature and cabin provide the most amazing backdrop for a getaway, but the Rio Dam, Hawks Nest Lookout, and Point Jarvis attractions are minutes away! Our two dogs LOVED the privacy of the spot, and we loved the outdoor kitchen, hot tub, and that bed was soooooo comfy! With the added perks of endless firewood and tiki lights, our stay on Masen's land was truly magical! Thank you for taking such good care of us!!

The cabin was very cozy well-made and interesting to look at. The record collection included a lot of classic rock, classical jazz all the way to modern hip-hop. The wood powered hot tub took a little bit to get going, but was a highlight. There’s plenty of beautiful sites nearby to see but the land it’s on was so beautiful. There was really no need to leave. Only con for me was no shower but we were able to wash up using the water from the hot tub (which is drained and refilled for each guest)

This was by far the best camping trip I have been on. I’ve done it all from backpacking to glamping and this was perfectly in the middle. A perfect spot for my 16 month olds first trip to the woods. The cabin and surrounding spaces were so beautiful and all the details were mind blowing. You can tell it is all hand built. The kitchen was such a great touch and my favorite part. It is nicely secluded and the hosts were so friendly. We actually wish we saw them more because they were so awesome! We got in on a chilly rainy day and Masen had the fire inside and the tub filled and warming up for us already. Very thoughtful and caring about their guests. We couldn’t have asked for more honestly. I cannot wait to come back. Thank you for your hospitality Raymonds.

Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. Cranberry Run Campground is a small, family-owned campground in the Pocono Mountains, just outside East Stroudsburg, PA. We’ve kept the spirit of 1970s camping alive - simple, low-key, and laid-back. No corporate or chain-campground feel, just a relaxed, family-run place to camp in the woods. We offer tent sites, RV hookups, and primitive cabins, with access to hot showers and flush toilets. You can cool off in our swimming pool, fish in our pond, or unwind in our game room, stocked with board games, pool tables, air hockey, pinball, and other arcade-style games. Cranberry Run is a place to unplug, slow down, and enjoy the quiet beauty of the woods. There’s plenty of space for privacy, and you’ll find lots to do — hiking, fishing, and exploring nearby swimming holes. We’re also just minutes from local restaurants and shops, so you can enjoy both the adventure of the outdoors and the convenience of town. We host live music and other unique events throughout the season. And as a small, family-run place, we’re always happy to answer questions ahead of your visit. This campground is nestled within the Pocono Mountains and on the outskirts of Promised Land State Park. This mountain area is known for its virgin forest and abundant wildlife. We are providing an opportunity for folks to experience and enjoy the beautiful and tranquil outdoors of Promised Land. Our campsites are about 50x50 with no hookups. There are firepits and picnic tables at the sites. Also we have 2 bath houses and showers and there is a dump station on property. There are lots of sight seeing to do in the area the big one being Promised Land State Park. Also there are a few restaurants nearby the closest on is Mountain House Tavern. We can provide a list of nearby accommodations. We also have monthly, and seasonal sites available.
