It is not in the middle of nowhere....it's in the middle of everywhere! Learn more about this land: Camp next to a peaceful trickling creek just outside Phoenixville and Kimberton. We are a suburban oasis, surrounded by a little bit of everything.  Our homestead has plenty of activity including kids, dogs, and chickens, bees and goats! We have a fully wooded area available to explore across the creek, and weather dependent- the creek is a great place to stay cool. You'll see lots of growing fruit trees in our developing orchard and we are happy to share our vision for this beautiful land! We have two campsites available for you to choose between for your stay. Both sites are along the creek, however, one has a view of some nearby houses and is a short walk to the parking spot [Creekside]. The other site is more secluded, past the tree line, but a further walk from where you are able to park. [Hillside] If needed, we are happy to lend you a wagon to haul your gear. Please let us know if you have questions and your preference of site. We have a cabin-like bathroom and partial kitchen you will have access to during your stay. We always have cold water available for purchase in the fridge. There is trail access easily accessible from our home (the closest is approximately 1 mile), for paved or natural trail exploration. We are are a great stopping point for cyclists enjoying the area. It's a short drive to downtown Phoenixville with some of the best breweries around. Phoenixville is home to a great farmers market on Saturday mornings and numerous festivals. Also, close-by is the lovely quaint village of Kimberton, home of the best organic grocery store and many opportunities for hiking and small farms.

We are located 5 minutes from the hospital, 10 minutes from grocery stores, 30 minutes to Amish country and Longwood Gardens. Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera. For you shop and antique explorers, just a short drive to the Delaware River and its quaint villages only 10 miles away: Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown. Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area for serene enjoyment and private meditation. Each site has a small private firepit and picnic table. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season. There is a wooded site, an open site for self contained campers and tent campers and a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate. How about camping in a Vintage Camper! We have on its own site a 1965 Trotwood, canned ham style camper. This cozy piece of the past is restored for nostalgic reflection. It has fine appointments, kitchenette, indoor private potty. She will sleep 4 comfortably. There are many parks, conservation reserves and nature trails to hike nearby. Your can bike along farm roads in the area and find places to have your picnic lunch. Forgot some supplies?- within 3 short miles are many shops, services and resturants, many deliver. Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throught the area. Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters. For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera. For you shop and antique explorers, just a short drive to the Delaware River and its quaint villages only 10 miles away: Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown. Boutiques, art studios, antique shops and restaurants . Enjoy any one of the many local Brewers, Distileries and vineyards all within a short drive of historic Flemington.

Lovely place for a peaceful retreat for a chilly November weekend, even with a 5 year old. Sandy and John were such kind and welcoming hosts. The red cabin is an updated church camp cabin, with electric radiators and a modern wood stove for heat, a pretty cool composting toilet (indoor), sink+shower, simple kitchen with induction stove, and 2 bedrooms with linens and towels. Our 5-year old loved the tree house, fairy house, labyrinth, meditation stations, boat and Pooh's house and library. And we got really good at shuffleboard! Would definitely recommend and would like to go back.

I l-l-l-loved everything about it! A beautiful ride. Arrived at the barn and was met be our charming host. A walk/ride past the farm animals to a seclude area up on a hill. The yurt was so cozy and inviting. Best cot ever. I will never sleep on an air mattress again! Great for one or two people. Plenty of spa e for additional tents if you need that. Big fire pit and LOTS of wood. Easy to cook on the fire pit but bonus propane grill and really convenient and stocked prep/kitchen area. Even soap and water dispenser setup for ease of cleanup. Delicious icy cold well water for drinking, too. We were also gifted some of their honey and eggs 🍀 Then there’s the farm! What a sweet experience. We got to feed the animals and collect the morning eggs. Walk to the Brandywine Nearby Creek for a beautiful walk along. I recommend! This is a special place!

We had a wonderful time camping at site 2 at Tom's place. It was so peaceful and beautiful and a short walk away from some great trails at the next door neighboring park. Room was a great host. He spent a while with us to show us around, introduce us to his goats, chickens and geese, and tell us the history of the area and his property. He had a working bathroom, a coffee machine, which was awesome because i forgot my coffee, and we bought a dozen of his farm eggs. After that he gave us our space and privacy but let us know he was available if we needed him. We can't wait to come back.

We had a great weekend camping at Tom's place. Site 2 was private and wooded. We loved interacting with the goats. Tom was an excellent host, and having a real bathroom available was a big plus for my group. You do have to cart your belonging down a hill (and back up when you leave), but sturdy carts are provided, and it maintains the peace and quiet of the camping spots. Would definitely recommend to others.

Such a lovely time! The camp site was put together very well. It had a kitchen, Living area and the tent. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. My daughter got to feed the animals, we were gifted fresh eggs we picked from the chicken coupe as well as fresh honey. We would for sure camp here again!

Amazing campsite! Beautiful setting with privacy and tons of space for tents. Easy walk from the parking area. We had such a fun time camping here with friends. It was 100x better than being smushed into a site on campground with limited space and unpreditable neighbors.

First Fall trip here, it was pretty great. Nice and quiet. Could have used a bit more fire wood, it was 38 degrees and the surrounding woods are picked clean. Will be returning at some point 👍

Excellent stay! Greg and Abbie were so welcoming and made sure I had everything and anything I could need (which was already there). Took my jeep up to the spot, the teepee style tent kept me dry in the rain, the cot was comfy, and having the couch was an added bonus. I appreciate not having to set up anything (my body wasn’t up for it). I loved feeding the goats and horse, petting the pony and pigs, seeing the chickens. Sunset was lovely. It was peaceful and just what I needed. Close to home, but far enough away. I will definitely be back!
