We are located on a private 36 acres of mostly woodland. We abut 100 acres of conservation land and another 100 acres of private woodlands.
Park at the end of Farley Rd on the RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD. The sites are a short 5 minute hike to the campsites. The property on the left side of Farley Road is private property, no trespassing, be respectful.
There is a marsh and a creek on the property that support myriad wildlife. There are owls, loons, eagles, hawks, hermit thrushes, robins, turkeys, song birds and herons. There are deer, moose, bear(don't leave your food out!), chipmunks, squirrels, opossum, raccoons(don't leave your food out!), skunks, minks, otters and many other species in our neighborhood. We live at the end of a dead end road with very little traffic.
No potable water provided, bring a filter and filter fresh water while you are here. Outhouse is easily accessible for all campers. Just before the Quiet campsite there is a trail for the outhouse on the right.

Situated about 300 feet away from our farm, you will hear our roosters crow every morning. Properties are separated by a field and tree line. (So yes, technically it is our "backyard." ) The public access road to the pond does go by the campsite and access to our bell tent site does go directly thru this site. THIS CAN BE RENTED AS A CAMPSITE ONLY. Our 3-acre property is surrounded by beautiful countryside with lots country charm. At one point in the early 1900's it was home to itinerant farmers who farmed the nearby fields. Our property was the dumping grounds for the stones/rocks that were pulled from the fields. You will notice lots of them throughout the property!
Our site is a well manicured area near our house on a 3-acre parcel. There is lots of sun and shade depending on when and where you happen to be on the site. There is plenty of space to pull out your favorite lawn game and a great firepit to keep warm at night. Bordering Rollins State Park and Kearsarge Mtn. State Forest, that encompasses 3,893 acres that covers most of Mt. Kearsarge. My campsite is located at the historic property settled by the Watkins family in the early 1790's.
Abner Watkins was a founding father of Warner and a soldier in the Revolutionary War serving under Ebenezer Webster, father of Daniel. With other men from Warner and surrounding communities, they fought in the Battles of Bennington and Saratoga and came back victorious. Abner with his wife Ruth and family retired up here on the mountain and are buried at the small cemetery down the road.
Enjoy this peaceful spot surrounded by beautiful oak, maple, birch, pine, hemlock and ash trees.
Abundant wildlife lives on the mountain including deer, moose, bear, bobcat and turkeys.
Plenty of shade with a new outhouse, fresh water, fire pit and a picnic table.
Plenty of free firewood to gather from around the site.
Right next door is the Rollins State Park toll gate to drive up Mt. Kearsarge and also access to miles of hiking trails.

Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain.
Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity.
The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so.
The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

Fox Farm is located on 8 magical acres in eclectic Brattleboro, VT. Located ideally on a trail-head that leads to the West River Trail (a 36-mile scenic trail through the West River Valley – eventually linking Brattleboro, Dummerston, Newfane, Townshend, Jamaica and South Londonderry) and the West River, offering opportunities to hike, fish, swim, ski, snow shoe and bike. The Marina Bar and Restaurant is a 2 mile hike or bike ride from the camp site (via the West River Trail) and is a fun way to see the beauty of Vermont and partake in some excellent indoor/outdoor dining with views of the water.
Currently there are two areas available to campers; The Pine Forest and the Council of the Elders.
The Pine Forest is a shaded circular area that is very spiritual and quiet.
There are currently 3 camp sites in the Pine Forest.
The Council of the Elders is a more open (again circular) area that abuts The Pine Forest and has a large fire pit as it's centerpiece, surrounded by the Elder Pine trees. I have had up to 2 campers and an occasional van/camper at the Council of the Elders.
I have most recently had requests to book the entire Pine Forest for guests who are traveling together and want privacy- and Ido my best to work with people to accommodate any needs.
Please bring your own firewood if you intend to have a fire. I offered wood to guests in the past when I was able but found that tricky to manage as there are times I myself am out of wood. There is plenty of felled wood all around as the property is surrounded by a dense forest and guests are welcome to gather that to supplement fire making.
In my experience as a host, I have noted that folks come together and build mini-communities, share food, fires and is generally a positive vibe.
Some come for privacy and solitude, which has not been an issue thus far.
All in all the energy is upbeat and folks make friends along the way- me too!
Brattleboro is a funky, hipster town with many excellent restaurants and much to see and do.
For winter enthusiasts Mount Snow is a 30 minute drive and folks can cross country ski and snowshoe right from their camp sites to the 36 mile trail.
The Hipcamper can expect privacy yet easy accessibility to the homeowner for tips and ideas to support a positive experience.
Campers may be greeted and visited my friendly Bernese Mountain Dog's, Loki Bear and Levi!

We are at the top of Raccoon Hill. Overlooking a valley with Punch Brook at the bottom. You can see Belknap Mountain across the way. There are many trails nearby. The state snowmobile trails run nearby with access at the power lines that cross Raccoon Hill, Great for hiking, biking in the summer. And snowmobiling in the winter. State rail trail is nearby also (bottom of Raccoon Hill and rt 11) Giving access to the entire state! Highland Lake is a few miles away. Webster Lake is a bit further down the road. Fishing ponds are all over the area. Ragged mountain is 20 minutes from here. The mountain biking park in Northfield is about 20 minutes away. Black Bear Vineyard is a few miles away. Situated only an hour from Boston off of I 93, and less than 30 miles away from the famous Lake Winnipesaukee, we are perched on a picturesque dirt road in the beautiful country town of Canterbury New Hampshire.
Popular attractions within a stone’s throw from us include; a gorgeous walk back in time at Canterbury’s Shaker Village, Golfing at Canterbury Woods, a unique pint of ale at Canterbury Aleworks, fabulous pick-your-own fruits and vegetables at Hackleboro Orchard, OR if you find yourself running low on supplies, Canterbury Country Store boasts having at least one of everything and is situated only one mile away from your campsite!
If you need more city life amenities like grocery stores or restaurants, the capitol city of Concord to the south, and the town of Tilton to the north, are a breeze to access and are less than 20 minutes away.

The Pond Site at Storm Meadows is a beautiful and private campsite. With so much land to explore and the paddle boat on the pond, we didn't even need to leave the grounds. 10/10 for views, privacy, and relaxation. Mark was a perfect host, very kind and courteous. We'll be back for sure!!

We had an amazing stay at this Hipcamp! The pond area was beautiful, the site was set up with everything we needed, and there were hiking trails right from the site. Mark was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here! The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond whenever we had a question. They even shared fresh vegetables from their garden with us, which were delicious!
The river was definitely one of the highlights! The water was so fresh and clean. We brought our paddleboard down and paddled/walked about 4 km upstream to some little baby rapids, then hopped on the board and let the current float us all the way back. Such a fun way to spend the afternoon!
The evening after our hike, we brought our tubes down to the river and just floated around, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. During our trips to the river, we saw so much wildlife, including lots of birds (bald eagles) and we were even lucky enough to spot a deer standing in the river!
The campsite itself was private and peaceful, with water available to refill our trailer tank. The owner had firewood available for us, which was super convenient, and there were also lawn games to choose from.
We also really appreciated how easygoing and accommodating our host was. We were out hiking when we realized we had accidentally forgotten to book the site for that day/night. We messaged her, and she responded right away saying not to worry—the site was still available and we could simply book it. No stress at all!
Amazing river, private spot with wonderful hosts. We would absolutely stay here again!

Mark was the best host, and we enjoyed his beautiful piece of land so much. Some highlights for us included the pond and the little pedal boat, the metal fire pit with brand-new-looking furniture around it, the tranquil sounds of the waterfall putting us to sleep at night. Communication was spot on. We gave an ETA and were greeted in the driveway, guided to the site, and given a short tour. What a place! Lush. Interesting. Open and yet plenty of privacy and shade. So much to explore. Or just sit comfortably and read a book. So many birds! Easy to park our 13 foot camper. Fresh water, lawn games and firewood available. Defiantly would visit again.

Absolutely beautiful site and the surrounding area. Our site was located on a level, gravel pad. There was plenty of room for our van and to extend the awning. There is a pond down below (1 minute walk) and it’s stunning. Secluded and quiet… only sound is the running water. A+ site and hosts! Thank you guys!

The hosts and staff are awesome. They went out of their way to help me with electric hook-up. The river site was nice. I will say that all of sites are very close to one another which not every camper enjoys. I loved the R2 site because it was so large. Walking my dog around, I saw many of the different kind of sites. The yurts, airstreams, and cabins looked awesome. I LOVED the free hot and private showers. Being able to float or kayak without leaving is great. We went for a few weekdays during the pouring rain so we didn't get to enjoy all they have to offer, including the sauna and pool The playground looked large Definitely check this place out.

My husband and I along with our Labrador spent 4 wonderful days at Storm Meadows recently. We had friends join us at the extra site for a few days as well. The sites were well maintained with various special touches and features. There are gravel landing pads and outdoor tables and chairs are spread throughout the property. The pond area has a picnic table with various other chairs as well as a smokeless firepit, paddle boat and small dock. The buddy site had a beautiful screen tent that was softly lit for nighttime. It was the absolute perfect camping location for a quiet holiday weekend with friends and our dog. Mark is easy to communicate with and a fantastic host.

What a great spot! Clean, quiet and felt very private. At night you can hear the stream draining into the pond and the pond comes to life with all the different wild life. Mark was a great host and I will be definitely booking this spot again.
