We have three 10x12 glamping tents tucked away in the forest on 6 acres, behind our home with glimpses of the surrounding mountains through the trees. Private and tranquil- each tent has a queen sized bed with flannel sheets, a light comforter, and a lantern. The front porch has two Adirondack chairs looking out over the forest. Each campsite has a fire pit, picnic table, and a cabinet filled with basic cook wear, plates and cups, a French press, kettle, and utensils for making meals over a campfire. Our double-header outhouse is clean and beautiful- a guest favorite! There is a short 1/8 mile walk through the woods to the camp- we provide garden wagons to tote your gear. Follow the camp path to our wooded sanctuary, sleep among the trees, marvel at the stars, tell tall tales around the fire, and unwind! Our tent and yurt sites are located on 5 acres of private woods and are 4 acres apart to allow for maximum privacy for our guests! Parking for both sites are shared. The tent is 50 yards up a rustic wooded path through the woods and the yurt is an 800 yard (10 minute) uphill walk from the parking area. Both sites are adjacent to our local network of hiking/biking trails that connect to the summit of Mount Agassiz, which offers stunning views of Franconia Notch. Additionally, within a half hour drive, you have access to some of the best hiking in the North East. We are happy to provide recommendations! The surrounding towns are home to three different breweries, numerous restaurants serving up delicious food and quaint main streets. Through the generous permission of surrounding landowners and the stewardship of the Bethlehem Trails Association, guests can access this trail network to enjoy the views from the summit of Mount Agassiz for top notch single-track mountain biking. We live one town over and are just a phone call away. If you walk the trails, you may encounter a friendly neighbor's dog but all our guests enjoy the privacy and solitude the mountain provides. So that means Sundays are not available or evenings. The cabin is outfitted with a comfy bed, fridge, and microwave and coffee maker. We sell firewood to sit around a cozy campfire at night and stargaze! You can even purchase a S'mores package as well! Enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings and listen to the birds. Bottled water is included as well and placed in your fridge upon arrival. Potable water also easily accessible. We will do our best to make you feel at home away from home. In a way that is never intrusive, we respect your privacy. Come and unwind with nature all around you. We are very pet friendly! And ask that all dogs are on a leash while outside. Also, pets are not to be left in the cabins unattended at any time. We enjoyed our time at the campsite. The tent was fantastic including the fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs. The icing on the cake were the two outhouses. They were so clean and included a library with live plants. We made great meals over the fire pit and then hit up the terrific watering holes off Rt 113.

Fell in love with this spot Labor Day last year. A week stay was even better. Location feels private, being right on the water is ideal for me and my chocolate lab. Personally enjoyed swimming. While I didn’t fish, I saw many people doing so. Even on hot days nights are refreshingly cool. Amenities are close by. Accommodations are simple, but I found them to be very comfortable. Bonus, owner Judith is a joy to work with.

Weekend Trip to SnugLife Camping

In my five years on HipCamp, SnugLife has risen to the top my list. I’ve stayed at both the tent site and the glamping site. The two sites sit just a few feet away from a beautiful babbling brook, you can spend a hot day lounging in the river. You can’t get more peaceful than that. I would recommend staying at the tent site in the summer and the clamping site in the winter. The glamping site isn’t quite is nice spot for river access, but it has everything you need for a great winter camping trip, including both a barbecue grill outside and a woodstove in the tent along with bunk beds and cooking equipment. TENTRR site was amazing!! Loved the seclusion of the site. The “amenities” at the site itself were fabulous!!! Although we had to clean before & after our stay it was very comfortable and again secluded!! No kids no other people just us and nature. Listening to the dam all day and night was probably the best part!!! Besides the eagles flying around and perching right above us!! What was included was phenomenal and what others left for the next was just as amazing so we made sure to pay it forward and left some of our daily use things behind as well. The “amenities” of the Retreat itself were great at most. The hot shower, hot tub gazebo & beach/boating area are a fairly far distance away. There were bikes for use complimentary but we were unaware if we were able to use and keep these at the site to get back and forth so we instead drove down. The pricing for use of the boats was awesome. Unfortunately we didn’t give ourselves enough time to use them. Next time most definitely.!!! The gazebo & beach furniture was not cleaned very well. I know we are outside but the amount of dirt, pine needles, cobwebs and spiders at the gazebo one could clearly tell this was not attended to. The beach furniture was the same. We did go swimming to one of the docks that did have the “lily pad” attached to it but due to the geese droppings we didn’t use that. The pontoon dock and slide/diving board dock were just too far away to get to. We WILL FOR SURE STAY AGAIN!!! Can NOT wait!!!!!!

Weekend Trip to Tranquility Plateau

Had a great time at this site! It was well maintained and easy to find with instructions from the host. We fell asleep to the sounds of the waterfall and woke up to the birds. Really enjoyed the heated outdoor shower as well! I would note it’s helpful to have 4WD as the road to the site is rough. It makes it fun to drive with the right vehicle!

This cabin was everything we could have dreamed for and more! The cabin was beautiful, the decor and the view was amazing and our 3 pups had an absolute blast being able to come with us! The cabin came equipped with everything you could need to have the best glamping experience. We enjoyed that it came with an ac and we took advantage of cooking on the grill they had. I was nervous about the bathroom situation since it’s an out house but the decor made it feel homey and it just felt like any other bathroom, we were pleasantly surprised! We also loved that it came with a mini fridge and a coffee maker so we could enjoy coffee on the porch while looking out on the beautiful river and mountain view’s. We had such an amazing time that we plan to come back at the end of the month. Could not recommend this cabin enough!! ⛺️

The cabin was great. The views were amazing! Jessica was very nice and responsive. It was very peaceful and quiet. 2 things. The cabins are not private. They are close to each other and they share the outhouse that is technically a bucket you are going to the bathroom in. If you don’t know the other people renting the cabin next to you it could be a little strange especially when the bucket fills close to the top. But overall the stay was great!
