Partly forested and partly pasture land, we boast Aspen, Fir, Spruce and Pine trees. Wildlife that commonly pass through include coyote, elk, deer and badger. You'll find direct access to mountain biking and hiking trails right off the property, including the Tally Lake Overlook Trail and Stovepipe Trails. Tally Lake, Montana’s deepest lake, is less than 8 miles up the road and offers opportunities for swimming, paddling, fishing, or simply soaking in the quiet beauty. If you head just up Tobie Creek Road, there’s a small, lesser-known fishing hole—a stocked lake with trout and pike that locals love for its peaceful vibe. This is a dry campsite with no hookups or amenities, so please come prepared with your own water and a toilet system. A great location far from town that's quiet, relaxing and provides an amazing stargazing experience at night. The hosts are wonderful people who bend over backwards to take care of you while giving you plenty of privacy. While it is a drive into the mountains (about 4,000ft elevation according to my phone), the property is easy to find and accessible via paved roads if arriving from the East/Whitefish. There's no cell service, so bring a satcom system or use the one generously provided by the hosts. The two RVs sites are in tandem along their access road. They're not private and may take bit of leveling on your arrival, but are easily accessible by even large trailers.

It was a great place to stay and wound up being really close to the disc golf course we wanted to play. They had cute little goats they were very accommodating and had the generator that we needed for my CPAP machine. We had no issues and it was a quiet great Montana place to stay.

1 night at BnR Horse Ranch
Shayne and Ryder were fantastic! They were extremely welcoming and allowed us to go anywhere on the ranch! This meant we spent lots of time with the horses, also known as "Wolverines", and the dozen little goats! We would definitely stay here again on future trips to that area!

Weekend Trip to BnR Horse Ranch
This was our 2rd experience camping at Shayne and Ryders property this summer. There are lots of trails choose from to match riding skills of you and the ability of the your horse. We went on several 14 mile rides. The views were totally awesome. Shayne and Ryder are exceptional host and way beyond the call of duty to make you and the horses welcome and comfortable. We are looking forward to next stay and trails riding experience.

Great hosts! Nice location with a pond (well cared for) and creek on site. Stayed in a camper, water/power/sewer were great. Flat area. Lots of deer. Very quiet area, great to sit and listen to your surroundings. Property very well cared for. Internet was pretty solid. Streaming video was great, sometimes MS Teams didn’t like it but that platform is sensitive. Calls over WiFi were perfect. Did I say the hosts were fantastic? Be aware that it’s a bit of a drive from whitefish so plan ahead for drive time. Stayed for 3 nights. If in the area again, this place is my first choice.

This camp site checked all my boxes. Off leash friendly. My pup explored all around our camp. The access is a dirt road that is fortunately rough enough to keep the speed of traffic low. The camp is also on a 90 degree turn so more slowing. Saw maybe 15 vehicles per day. The site had room for my boat and trailer that I used on Tally lake. Very beautiful. Whitefish lake is nearby. It was rainy the site is well drained no puddles. Lots of trails to hike around tally lake.
