Sites 7-20 (the back meadow sites) have parking for vehicles 26' or less in total length. All sites have access to vault toilets, and all sites are back-in sites with partial shade. Because of the proximity to Glacier National Park and the main HWY, traffic noise and train noise can be heard at the campsites. Visitors are ask to keep their speed to a minimum to reduce dust on the dirt on Greens Road. We are just a short bike ride away (two minutes by car) from attractions such as the Whiskey Barn, The Paul Bunyan Bar & grill, Glacier Hi-Line Ropes Course, and the Amazing Fun Center, maze, and mini golf. It is also easy access to the Gateway to Glacier Bike path. E-bike rentals are across the street from us. Closest Gas station is the Cenex in Coram (1.5 mi away). Very convenient location especially when visiting Glacier NP. It was easy to find and there were helpful signs to locate your site. Bathroom was very clean!! I was impressed considering it was a campground. Felt safe and it was quiet during my stay. Highly recommend!

5 nights at Back Of The Moon

This was our 2nd stay at The Back of the Moon. First time we stayed at the Wolf Moon site and this time at Buck Moon. Wolf Moon is a little bigger with a picnic table for hanging out and eating outdoors. Buck Moon is a little smaller but still plenty of space. It is a peaceful spot and sits up on the hill with a filtered view of the pond at the nearby resort. Carolyn is an outstanding host, very helpful and gracious. Highly recommend!

3 nights at Lost Paddle and Pole

We spent 3 nights in the yurt here. It rained quite a bit and the temperatures got pretty chilly, but the yurt had an electric heater, that kept us more than comfortable. 2 adults, 2 children under 10 and our dog. We had plenty of room outside to cook and hang out. The yurt was thoughtfully arranged to feel plenty spacious and comfortable for the 5 of us. You cannot beat the location of this hipcamp. We spent 3 days in the park, but it is conviently close to Kalispell and Whitefish as well. We will definitely stay again.

Site 13 has a pull through access and a sandy tenting spot further into the woods

Jake and Jaime were so good about communicating with us before our arrival. Their property is well marked and there are very good signs pointing to the specific camping sites. The whole area was clean and well kept. The outhouses were amazing!

We thought we'd take the camper out one last time before winterizeing it and so glad we did. This spot was amazing! The sites are far apart from each other so gives you privacy between neighbors. The campground was so clean, restrooms were kept up and so many fun things for the kids to do. It was safe and the views were so beautiful

Weekend Trip to Back Of The Moon

Our little family (2adults, 2 young kids, 2 labradors) absolutely loved Carolyn’s spot, such a great find! We towed our camper up to Wolf Moon and stayed for the Whitefish Trailblazer races in the fall. The property was beautiful and secluded. Tucked into the woods behind the Haymoon resort. The property was easy to find via google maps, and Carolyn was super responsive (even well before we booked!). The site has a 30/20 amp hookup and water available, just brought our hose to hook up & close to a free RV dump in town at the Cenex. Honestly the perfect little weekend, even with the colder weather & rain. Would 100% recommend this spot & Carolyn as a host, she was wonderful!

Weekend Trip to Lost Paddle and Pole

The site fit my needs for a place to camp while reffing soccer at the nearby Smith fields. The two sites are next to each other, but the other one was empty so I had plenty of privacy. The toilets were clean even if one was about out of paper. You can hear highway 40 due to the proximity, but it was not bad just some white noise. I would return.

Excellent camp site in a great private location! Plenty of space for a 34’ fifth wheel and truck, level ground, and ample space for slide outs. Great distance between sites as well as activities for the kids. Would definitely recommend.

Great spot! Perfect place to stay when visiting Glacier National Park. Very close to the entrance- we had a wonderful stay with our dogs. Plenty of space for our big dog to run free. The site was clean, spacious and great with a fire pit and table. Everything we needed. We would stay again without hesitation!
