The camp is perfectly nestled between Columbia Falls and Whitefish. Ideal for commute to both, as well as day trips around. A great camp if you want to go on excursions. Jake was very cordial, quick with responses, and left us feeling safe and secure. Would visit again.

We really enjoyed staying at Jake's Hipcamp! The wide-open RV site was easy to settle into, and he suggested some great locations, such as Glacier National Park, Cedar Flats bike park, and Whitefish lake paddling. It felt relaxed, convenient, and just right for a Montana getaway!

Jake was a beyond amazing and helpful host!
As newbies to Montana, he gave us tips on the best ways to get around and suggestions on local places to check out! This spot is perfection : quiet, clean and private. We are definitely adding this to our "will be back" list and can't wait to come back! We highly recommend staying here!

Jake was such a great host! Very accommodating and friendly! He gave recommendations and also let us meet his sweet dog. It was a great spot to stay near glacier without the cramped quarters of a traditional campground. Would stay here again if we are in the area.

Jake’s meadow was so lovely to camp in! We had a wonderful time. Jake was a great host.
There were friendly horses next door that came to say hello (at the fence). It was so peaceful and quiet. I would absolutely stay again.
Lots of space with a picnic table and a fire pit. Highly recommend!

Our site at Malarky's Meadow was terrific. Easy to back in, comfortably wide for slide outs and space for chairs outside. We enjoyed seeing horses grazing in the neighbor's field right behind our site. Surrounding trees and fields made this a relaxing site. Jake was a delightful host. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is great. Jake is super cool and the space is fantastic. We came here after a few days in Glacier NP so we’d have a nice spot to exercise our dogs and electric so we could deal with some hot weather better. It’s around 40 minutes to the West Glacier entrance so would make a decent base for your Glacier adventures. It’s also very convenient to Columbia Falls and Whitefish. If you’re a mountain biker or hiker there’s a trail system about 10 minutes drive away. Being that at the time we were here this was about the same price as an RV park, I’d stay here every time. The setting is far superior to any RV park and for use far outweighs the extra amenities. Jake was great about offering recommendations for MTB trails paddle boarding spots, and food establishments.

Once we got to the right driveway it was easy to get in and setup. The space is level and services easy to connect to. Jake was helpful to our needs and we had a nice stay.

This was a great spot, quiet, in a meadow of flowers! Host was great and quickly brought us an adapter for the electric plug in. Would recommend! Close to glacier and to town.

This was the perfect basecamp for our trip to Glacier.
It feels like you’re in the country, but it’s really just 3 miles from town & on a road that allows for easy access across town. The site itself is perfectly level, all gravel, with a large meadow that was perfect for playing frisbee with our dogs. We loved that it was a single site & not cramped. Jake was everything you could ask for in a host: friendly, knowledgeable, and going out of his way to be helpful.
A lot of times, photos don’t tell the whole story—in a bad way. Here, the photos almost undersell how great of a gem this is. We’ll definitely return.

Easy, easy. Nice, picturesque flat camping spot. Water and electric hookups are where they should be. Nice wide turn area. Horses next to the property. Nice fire ring and grassy area for hanging out. Location is great for access to glacier, Columbia falls, and whitefish. Jake is great and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Jake’s for the Under the Big Sky Festival. We live about an hour away but wanted a place nearby to camp instead of driving home each night. Jake’s spot is quiet and private. There are water and electrical hook ups and a nice level parking area with gravel. We obviously stayed here for proximity to the event but would recommend it to absolutely anyone who would like a nice place to stay while visiting north western Montana. It’s a great central location to Whitefish, glacier national Park and all that our area has to offer. Jake was very communicative and accommodating.
