This is a unique site located in the Ozark Highlands. Only 45 minutes from Cape Girardeau (a small river town on the Mississippi), and 45 minutes from the Arcadia Valley including Taum Sauk mountain (the highest point in Missouri), Elephant Rocks, the Johnston Shutins, and other beautiful areas in the highlands.
The farm is five minutes from Marble Hill, which is home to the Bollinger County Natural History museum which highlights the only dinosaur bones found in Missouri. The bones were found at a farm in Glennallen (a few minutes from our farm) as well as a great barbeque (Jay’s Restaurant) and a good catfish restaurant (Jers Restaurant). On the way to our farm, feel free to stop at the 1,700 foot deep artesian well to get a cool, refreshing jug of natural artesian well water – the water is free, but you have to bring your own containers!
We are two and a half hours southwest of St. Louis, and two and half hours northwest of Memphis.

Copper Top Campsites is a 4 slot boondock site near the Current River. Each lot has enough room for a vehicle and boat. Dumpster service is provided and each site has its own locally built custom fire pit. Firewood is available upon request. There are no hookups at this time, this is complete dry camping or boondock camping. It’s approximately 10 minutes to Doniphan where you can launch a boat, get groceries, eat out, and do some local shopping. If you are looking for other rivers the Eleven Point River is close by as well. For a few more amenities, Poplar Bluff is less than 45 minutes away.

Amazing spot, super private and great hosts. It is off the beaten path a bit. There is a bit of off-roading as the paved road ends about 2 miles before you get to your destination. The rv pads are a bit narrow if you have a slide and want to stay on the gravel. However it’s worth it!

We had a great time camping on Teresa's land. It has all the hookups you need and more! Very peaceful remote area, but still close enough to Van Buren that fetching any forgotten supplies is a breeze. She was also very kind, suggesting locations, offering advise, and even getting us some extra fire wood. One thing of note is to not listen to your GPS when arriving and actually read Teresa's email with detailed directions. Lol Otherwise you end up down her neighbor's driveway and look like an idiot. 😂

This full hook-up site was perfect in every way! It is so peaceful and in a pretty setting. We spent a week and enjoyed each day. Teresa is a wonderful host and a very kind person. Teresa was a great host! She sent me very clear directions to her land before we arrived. When we got there, she welcomed us and told us the best restaurants in the area and sites to see and answered any questions we had. She offered free firewood. Her land was right off the main highway, but had minimal traffic noise. It was just a few miles away from big Spring, a must see!

We could not ask for a better campsite. Sites were clean and far apart for plenty of privacy. Unfortunately the creeks were dried up since there hasn't been any rain but it was a little too cool for swimming anyway. Michelle met us on arrival and guided us to our site and left us plenty of firewood for our stay. My dog also loved it! Hope to return next summer !

We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a great outdoor experience, whether you're planning to ride the trails or just enjoy the natural beauty. It's clear that a lot of care and attention has been put into making this a top-notch destination for both horses and ATVs.
The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any questions or needs we had.
Be sure you take the Hwy 19 to State Hwy N or else be prepared to do a bit of off roading before you get there.

Beautiful scenery! Peaceful and relaxing. The creek was low when I was there, so there was a bit of a trick downhill to get to the creek bed. It led to another Creek that had water and deep enough to swim in and also held fish to catch. It was a good time. The Host, Shelly was so helpful and informative about where to go and what to look for. She was a delight. I would definitely go back!

Big River Outdoors was such a blast! Our host was amazing with great communication, which made everything super easy. The campsite was private and peaceful with direct access to the water, perfect for kayaking and fishing. We traded the muddy Mississippi for some beautiful scenery and it did not disappoint. My stay at Creekside was fantastic. Shelly is very friendly and ready to help should you need anything. The site was clean and comfortable, but best of all of all was its proximity to the creek! It was just a short walk from the edge of campsite, giving easy access for swimming, wading, or a big open sky to watch the stars.
I was fortunate to have come when there few other guests, so it was extremely peaceful. The sites are well spaced and off a sparsely traveled county road. This is a great place for those who like basic camping, with a few basic amenities available. There is a simple shower (with hot water), well water, outhouse/johnny, and ice and firewood is available should you need it.
All in all, this was a great place to stay and I would definitely do so again sometime. Thank you, Shelly!

This rustic retreat is an outdoors enthusiast dream. We chose a more private primative site with a fire ring and picnic table. It had plenty of shade from nearby trees and was a long a dry wet weather creek. We enjoyed the simplicity, peace and beauty this place had to offer. The grounds were clean and well-maintained. I should note that there were also electric sites available and a shower house, a pit toilet and potable water access near our site, which was a welcome convenience. The campground's location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area. There are several scenic sxs trails accessible from the campground, offering opportunities to immerse oneself in the natural beauty of the area. We also took advantage of the nearby creek, and the beautiful Black River which were both perfect for wading, swimming and enjoying the cool refreshing water. Shelley is lovely and was quick to respond to any questions. She even sent a friend who offered to show us around on the trails for the day. We had an amazing time. I highly recommend the Four Creeks Campground.

The host were very friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed right there at the campsite. Catching smallmouth in the creek was anwesome and we put them all back for future fishermen. It was a short drive to Johnson Shut-ins one day and the Current river another day. We had a great stay!
