3 nights at The little cabin
Nice, quiet getaway! We slept in tents in our getaway and used the little cabin to keep our gear out of the elements. It was really nice to have the mini fridge and a microwave to help us with our meal prep. Would definitely come back again!

This little place was exactly what we needed as a place to crash with our dog on a little road trip to pick up a vehicle.
It is small and cute and thoughtfully put together.
We didn’t have a fire but there was plenty of firewood available. There is an outhouse a short walk away from the cabin. It was somewhat chilly outside and the small electric heater was plenty just go get the place warm for bed time. It’s nice that there’s a fridge and microwave, a small futon couch, and a fold up/down counter with folding chairs that tuck away. There were hooks to hang coats, and a few odds and ends (books, map, binoculars, matches) on the shelves above.
Would recommend for a short stay to crash.

Although there is road noise, the campsites are back in the woods and you definitely feel isolated. Jon obviously cares about his animals and the property and trees. The site was well-maintained and directions were clear. He answered promptly when I had a question. This is a working farm so you do have to be mindful of gates and livestock as you enter. It's a nice respite from the hustle and bustle. I was only staying one night to break up a long drive but I really enjoyed the peace and scenery.

Had a great time! It was quiet, private, spacious, and easy to get to. The best part was the turkey who lives on the farm spending the entire evening with us and even sleeping in our camp! He was super friendly and brought great vibes. Such a great spot for not being too far from the city. Would highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to The Oaks at Oakwood Farm
Nice spot to camp just outside of the cities, picnic table, and outhouse was a nice addition. Far enough away from structures and people to enjoy the peace

Beautiful camping spots at the back of their farm, which is fun to drive through and see the different animals. Very secluded and Jon is great. Answers messages on the app quickly but has never bothered me. This is the second time I’ve camped here and definitely recommend it.

The property is pretty much open prairie land. I saw so many different types of birds to include eagles, water fowl, (didn't hear any loons but doesn't mean there aren't any) saw a few wildlife (deer, turkey, ground hog, a couple meadow voles. ) Andrew has a farm and there are a few horses and some very friendly goats, and super friendly dog. Andrew always answered my questions and was available if I needed anything. The farm is down a long dirt road which makes the stay very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. Thanks Andrew for a great stay! I would stay again.
