Weekend Trip to Cuyuna/Mississippi River Land

Site #3 is super pretty and secluded, right along the bank of the Mississippi. Nicely stacked firewood was very helpful for fires, especially with the rainy weekend we had. Hosts were friendly and had good communication in case we needed anything!

Great space with the river winding through the property. A lot of the sites feel like you’re completely alone because of the forest. I definitely plan to stay here again.

This place is located on a beautiful piece of land. The directions are clear and campsites are well marked. There is some road noise as mentioned in other posts but The river was the crowning glory of this site! I would definitely camp here again!

The river is great for small children to wade and swim in during the summer. During spring, the water is up higher for kayaks and canoes. Your hosts live at 1010 205th Ave. It is just a vineyard for now. the winery we hope will be built in 2025.

There are horses and an array of unique birds on the property including peafowl, pheasants, ducks, and brahma chickens. We are located on a quiet country local traffic tar road. We have an approximately 1 acre Park area with a large pond in the middle evening lounging as well as an upper level deck. You are welcome to join us for morning coffee and a bite to eat or bring your own breakfast to cook. We occasionally board dogs as well, so your pet is welcome, but we do have a separate contract for pets and have leash restrictions due to the collection of beautiful pheasants and peacocks that call Twisted Willow home.
