We really enjoyed our stay at Jeff and Julie’s! The views were beautiful being right along the river and it was incredibly peaceful. Jeff and Julie were very responsive and kind to speak with! We will definitely be back!

I really liked how clean and well maintained the site was. I did not like how close the sites were to each other how little division there was between them. All in all a cute site on the river. I'd be back if I had a group of people to rent the neighboring sites.

Absolutely the very best spot! Quiet, secluded, and beautiful, I'll keep coming back year after year! The owners are amazing, and have gone above and beyond to make sure the site is safe, peaceful, and accessible. They were quick to address any and all concerns, and I can't help love this location even more for it!

This is an amazing spot to camp. JT has done a great job setting this place up. The kids really enjoyed getting accross Belle creek to get to the cabin. When we arrived the water was high. I brought a raft so I was able to get the kids and the gear across. I would definitely recommend this site and we will be back.

This was an amazing piece of land along side the creek. The sound of the water was the most peaceful sleeping backdrop to camp next to.
It was easy to find, very well labeled, very well kept and clean.
There was plenty of space between us and the other campers so it was very peaceful.
As a single mom camping with my son, we don’t like to camp where there’s no one else camping but we also don’t like to be right next to them either, so this was the perfect balance!
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away.

Host Edward always answered my questions very promptly. The property is a patch of wooded area surrounded by corn fields. It was beautiful! The small cabin is located at the edge of the wooded area and the front porch faces the corn fields. I did hear traffic in the distance and a few airplanes every day; the sounds did not bother me at all. Lots of birds to listen to and watch! The cabin is quite cute on the exterior and basic and rustic on the inside; no electrical or water, although there is a main outhouse and I think a non-potable water source; I had self-contained equipment and supplies so can't speak to either. There is a wood burning stove that I did not need to use because I was plenty warm at night. The windows (4) do not have window coverings and I knew this in advance, so just brought cloth and pins to take care of that. I originally booked two nights and loved the experience so much, I was able to stay a third night (and will be returning for four nights in the fall!) If you like rustic, you will likely love staying at Edward's place! PS while I stayed in the cabin and also no one else on the property, I got to peek at the camp sites as well. I would definitely be delighted to tent camp on any one of the sites; a couple were quite spacious and all had sturdy fire pits.

The river was flowing and full of fish, the sites were impeccably maintained, the firewood was well stocked. We had a great time. Thanks Jeff and Julie for sharing your land with us.

2nd time here at the Bluff. Very secluded besides having a few campers cross the creek and were in the meadow next to the cabin. Firewood has a great price at $1.00 per log, Venmo made it super easy to pay. Definitely will be coming back, thanks again JT.

We loved our stay! The sound of birds and the creek made it really peaceful. No mosquitoes, and the campfire kept the black flies away. The wagon was super helpful for moving our gear. The kids loved crossing the tree bridge to the island and playing in the creek. The only downside was that on one of the days, we had to listen to a mower running most of the afternoon, which broke the peaceful vibe a bit. But aside from that, the experience was great!

Nice partially wooded spots on river banks of the Zumbro. Big spots, always freshly mowed. Fresh water to fill your jugs. Spacious to accommodate myself, 2 adult sons, a spouse and grand child. We have loved feeding the horses in the past and this is our third year renting from double j. My son was insistent that this was the place to start a time honored family tradition. There were new trash and recycling receptacles by the porta potty, which was quite handy. Firewood is always plentiful and if you forget something, Zumbrota has a nice grocery store and hardware. The park at the Covered Bridge in Zumbrota, is like a huge wooden castle and well beloved to my adult kids as well. I was quite familiar with this area as it was my mother's hometown and visited nearly monthly as a child. This is however , my first experience with hip camp and i'm very happy. We stayed at Site #3 and had a wonderful experience! The location is spacious with plenty of shade, easy river access, and close to the porta-potty, very convenient with kids. The river in front was shallow and had a sandy bottom, perfect for wading.
What really stood out was the kindness and hospitality. We booked last minute and had to adjust our arrival time, but communication was easy and friendly the whole time. Jeff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, he made everything feel relaxed and simple, which helped us settle in and enjoy our time even more.
Highly recommend this spot and the kind folks who run it!

I stayed at mellow yellow and it was perfect! It was super not buggy as outdoor goes, but its outside so of course there are in fact bugs. My dogs and my 3 yo loved the creek and had plenty of room to run around and have fun. I was alone with my young child and 2 dogs and felt very safe here. The creek was a bit up so we had plenty to play with and the sounds of the night were amazing. I really couldn't have asked for a better camping spot!

I loved the solitude at the edge. Highway and airport sounds aside it was very peacefulm. The stars were beautiful and enjoyed the wildlife. Sites are just as described and the concrete slab, AstroTurf tent pad and saw were nice additions to the site. I had a great time and will be back.

It was a beautiful, quiet spot. Really fun to brave the creek crossing and then find such a lovely, tranquil spot. Well kept and comfortable (as much as a rustic cabin can be!) Our dog even loved getting to run around and sniff to her heart's content. Would definitely recommend this spot and would love to return.

Well built cabin. Well maintained. Miles of Riverbank to explore. Beautiful stream. Majestic to sit and listen to the rapids at night while sitting around a fire. My boys and I had a great time! Highly Recommend!!
