On the farm is a 20 acre lake with a floating island, tent sites, and healthy ecosystems with plenty of wildlife.Our farm pastures pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry, investing in our dirt and our neighbors. We are provision family farms because we provide for our animals even as we are provided for. Drop on in at the house and we may have time for a little tour.In the woods is a small composting toilet, but you're welcome to fertilize our pastures anytime. There's also a shower available in the house.The best time to visit Michigan forests is in October when the leaves turn color and the nights are cool. The camp spot on Luke's farm was lovely. While we requested the kayaks for their pond, we did not end up using them. The space was very private. We had a little trouble getting to the space as the direction listed in the booking did not land you immediately into the space, but more like adjacent. We arrived late and it was dark out so we had a tough time knowing where to turn, there was very little signage to indicate where exactly to go, and we did not have the best cell service. We made it to their farm and we were given a map. Overall, i would stay there again and recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful time out in nature. The views of the autumn foliage were abundant. Thank you!

My children and I had enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Provision Family Farms! Luke was friendy and helpful, and the Treehouse campsite was beautiful. We ended up sleeping in tents because my kids were convinced that the sound of acorns falling in the roof of the tree house was some sort of malevolent forest creature. Highlights for us: We enjoyed seeing the farm animals, and the composting toilet station was beautifully designed and maintained.

My friends and I had the best time staying at the treehouse last week. The location is peaceful and beautiful, with a grocery store nearby. The treehouse is cozy and stocked with everything you could need. Before we left we got a tour of the family farm from the kids. The family is a wonderful group of welcoming, kind, and incredibly fun people. This was the highlight of our already fantastic stay! Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
