We have working dogs, sheep, cattle, horses, a couple goatsWe have some super great animals. Most of which are very friendly. You never know what will be available to see on the farm when you visit. We are expecting a foal (baby horse) this summer (2021) and are already planning for another foal next summer as well. We often have puppies as well and sometimes we have to bottle feed lambs. There's never a dull moment. Our farm is unique in the way of having a very positive VIBE to it. The energy is awesome! It's really a space of tranquility and healing if you allow yourself to go there. After hosting with air bnb for a little over a year now, we decided to give this a try as well. We love hosting people and having them come to the farm and enjoy our way of life. It also helps to have a supplemental income as having and running a small family farm isn't very sustainable. Typically there's off the farm jobs to help pay for the farm life. It's a crazy equation. Small family farms are far and few between. Please support your local farmer if possible! We're sorry, but outside such items are NOT permitted in order to minimize the risk of zebra mussel exposure, etc. Life jackets in multiple sizes are on hand as well. But, you are welcome to bring your own. Fishing is allowed if not by the ducks or geese. No additional hunting of any kind is allowed. Electrical outlets are available to charge phones in an outbuilding if needed. We have two porta potties and a hose shower. We have a flock of about 20 friendly pet ducks and geese that travel the property. You may feed them frozen green peas if you would enjoy that but nothing else please. For the safety of our feathered friends and the abundant wildlife we cannot permit pets. We are 30-40 minutes north of Flint, 30-40 min east of Saginaw and 20 minutes from Michigan’s Little Bavaria, Frankenmuth.

We recommend it although not highly. Kind of a cool setting if you’re into old timey museum type places. It’s great for a quick stopover point. Location was nice, we were the only people there (late season trip) so it was very quiet. Port Sanilac is a great little town.

3 nights at B Mo's Hideout

We had an awesome time at B’Mos hideout. A great nature sanctuary with a very hospitable and responsible host Bryan - who also gives plenty of space and privacy. We ran out of wood on our second night and Brian popped over in 15 minutes with more bundles. The property is well kept. Great place to hangout and be one with nature. If you’re looking for a hardcore hiking experience tho, this is not that. The trails on the property go in a loop, and there is plenty of hiking to do off trail, but it’s not the miles of trails you may find in a state park. This property is in a rural neighborhood, so some of the neighbors have working dogs, others have shooting ranges, and there is a road nearby so it’s not 100% secluded from civilization. Nonetheless, it was a fantastic way to slow down, recharge, and enjoy the breeze in the trees!

My partner and I LOVED camping with Brian. The site was perfect and the trails were beautiful. The campsites were a pretty good walk from each other and you have the option to put up ropes for completely privacy. Brian was an amazing host, he explained the land and area really well and was great to talk to. We had a few troubles including not being able to blow up our air mattress and even our car battery needing a jump and he was just a call away ready to help!!! Really a good guy and a great place to set up camp. 10/10 recommend this camp as we will be back with our friends!!

Weekend Trip to Thousand S.’s Land

Loved our stay, it was a total vibe- very raw land which we appreciate. The goat, chickens, and turkeys follow you everywhere (including the shower) which is hilarious, as they become your own personal groupies- they are little thieves though, so keep your food guarded, they stole a peach from our toddler and some watermelon. Don’t worry it was local and organic. The zip line into the swimming area was really fun and we loved hearing the train pass by several times a day. Our only issue was the amount of poison ivy at two of the RV sites, with a toddler and a dog who love to explore it was impossible to stay out of it. Luckily we were able to utilize a different area for socializing but if the spots are all booked this wouldn’t have been an option. All that said we would still recommend this campsite and would love to return in the future. It was peaceful, wild, calming and exactly what we needed. Om Shanti

Quiet, nearest neighbor was 80 yards away. This is like a miniature greenfield village. It is clean and well kept, with fun little walking trails to explore. For an additional fee you can have a guided tour of the historic buildings onsite. I had a wonderful time!

Wonderful venue!! We didn’t realize until we arrived, this is not a “campground“ but a historical village, and you camp on their grounds. The only negative would be that there’s no shower, but that was not a big deal. We went to a play at The Barn Theater onsite - perfect for us theater folk! We were tempted to leave a bad review so we could have the place to ourselves, but that wouldn’t be fair!! Quiet, beautiful, lots of things to do in the area - what’s not to love?!!

My husband and I loved staying here (we stayed a full 10 days)!! The campsite is very private, spacious, and relaxing!! Communication with Tabitha was great and she responded to my questions/concerns quickly!! T-Mobile cell service really wasn't too bad (it was much better than the service at our house)! We enjoyed the trails through the woods and playing with our 3 dogs in the wide open space in the campsite. Watching the turtles was also a plus! Highly recommended!!

I really enjoyed our stay here, it was the perfect place to try out our new truck bed tent. There was so much wood to collect from the forest to have a fire and enjoy the outdoors, I really got to enjoy the wild life. The outhouse is very cute. Michael was a very nice host and very informative and has great communication. If you’re looking to get away from the “city” with access to everything you need this is just that place for you.

Weekend Trip to Mulligan's Valley in the Woods

This little hidden gem is perfect for those in southeast Michigan who want that up north feeling—without the long drive or the bears. The site I stayed at was incredibly spacious, and well laid out. The amenities were thoughtful, with a fire extinguisher right at the pit making it the safest setup I’ve used. The trails were a nice bonus, good for a relaxed walk through the trees. Firewood was plentiful and good quality. Because it’s not rural, you do occasionally hear traffic in the distance, but it fades into the background. At night, what stands out are the crickets and forest sounds. Overall, it’s spacious, safe, well-stocked, and tucked away in the trees. I'm already planning my return trip!

As I mentioned in my other review this was so amazing I booked the very next night when my travel plans fell through do to weather. I added on a the solar shower and it was amazing!! Which that is also set up really nice if you’re not by yourself. You can take a shower in nature and privacy!
