The farm is walking distance to Lake Leelanau and Schneider township park. Walking/hiking trails are available throughout the property and nearby areas. Provemont Pond which lies across M-204 is a lovely natural area with many trails. Shopping or rock hunting in historic Fishtown, aka, Leland is 6 minutes by car, a bit longer by bike. We are just minutes to several Lake Michigan beaches, Suttons Bay and Northport. Drive 25 minutes to Traverse City to the Southeast or 33 minutes Southwest to Sleeping Bear Dune climb and the quaint village of Empire. Lots to enjoy for the foodies as well. Aside from the many wineries and distilleries, you can find Nittollos italian fare and stone fired pizza. Dicks Pour House where all the locals go, and Fiddleheads which features many local farm foods in their pop-up weekend menus. In Leland you can dine at The Cove, or Leland Lodge. Our property has many open areas to park, some very level, some not. We have woods and a large hill area with lots of birds and wildlife to see. We can accommodate large rigs, small rigs, and all in between. Pets are welcome but must be leashed as we have two of our own dogs. Perhaps the best place I've stayed at on hip camp. Definitely top 5. Robb and Jeanne have a really great place. The photos are accurate. The pine forest was great. At night you can hear the wind traveling from one side to the other. I love the clean flat carpet of pine needles. In the morning we drove about 5 minutes to lake Michigan Beach which was gorgeous. No bugs at all this time of year. I liked the community fireplace because it was all setup and quick to get a fire going. There is a volleyball court in the grass too.

Betty and her husband were very friendly. He met us on arrival to show us to our site and even lent us his very bright flashlight since we were setting up in the dark. Then chatted with us the next night around the camp fire. They have an adorable dog that runs around the property mostly keeping to herself but will gladly accept pets and belly rubs. One thing to note is that 1-3 tent sites are right next to each other and the communal fire pit is nice but if there is anyone else in those sites be prepared to make friends.
