Such a great, secluded spot with a beautiful view around the corner. The location is perfectly rural but only a mile away from a super well stocked store. Dillon is an amazing host with great recommendations!

Nice little spot in the back of his property, relatively easy to access and close but not too close to everything you’d need, great sights in the area and lots to do. Dillon is super cool and great at communicating with you, made the effort to drop by and introduce himself. Our only complaint was the mosquitos were absolutely off the chain but other than that the site was beautiful and we had a great time.

We took the site at the end of the 2 track, had a fire pit and room for our 20 foot sleeper van. It’s in a pine forest, at the edge of a large field. Very peaceful. Dillon was very communicative. I would stay again.

We absolutely loved Dillon’s private camping site! It was such a beautiful secluded area with a lovely field just through the tree line. Very welcoming and friendly host who showed us right to our spot.

Lovely and cozy spot for our weekend camping trip! Perfect location for accessing all the local day hiking, too. Would 100% recommend and stay again.
Only notes would be to bring bug spray for the mosquitoes, and be aware that the drive back to the tent sites is a little tight with the tree branches.

I loved tent camping on their land! It felt like being nestled in a really quiet pine forest. There’s a few campsites, no matter where you camp it is so, so quiet and peaceful. It was about a 20-30 min drive to some of the really popular hiking spots / lookout spots. I’d love to come back again in the fall when the leaves are changing.

Fantastic camp sites on the back half of the property. We were in a clearing that was surrounded by magnificent 50 foot pines and looked out on the neighboring prairie. Dillon was a great host, very accommodating. Would definitely come back to this area, it was very easy to get into Traverse City and explore over by the lake Michigan Coast.

Dillon was a great host - greeted upon arrival at the horse barn, super communicative/helpful throughout, and provided private/secluded experience. We loved saying hello to the horses as we came and went, feeding them apples, grass - eventually they would came running to us as we passed - very special. Plenty of woods camping spots to choose from down narrow path which opens up to a beautiful field for sunrise, sunset views. Able to gather enough down wood on site for two small fires (recommend byow or request from Dillon). Only 4 minute drive to grocery store in Lake Ann for all needs during stay, small public beach access to the lake right in town to cool down with restroom available to use/clean up as needed. Check out Lake Ann Brewing great beers, awesome vibe with live music outdoors and pizza, ice cream next door to top it off. On property camp site we had enough cell signal to message, play music by fire, etc. Overall awesome stay. Thanks Dillon -Sam & Bri-

Fantastic property, great for getting away and having some peace and quiet. Property is conducive/safe for dogs which was huge for us.

The Brown family farm was a great place to set up camp for out annual Traverse City Fishing trip! All the campsites were booked around the area so good thing I was able to find this hidden gem last minute!
Dillon was very communicative throughout the whole process as I have never used Hipcamp before this. He made us fell comfortable and was always there to answer any questions we had. Very accommodating!
We were able to camp back in the woods surrounded by tall pines with a beautiful starry night sky and just a walk away from a beautiful sunset over some fields! It was very peaceful out there.
Waking up and and seeing horses and ducks and chickens was a bonus!
We were only 5-15 minutes from 5 lakes we were fishing all week which made it very convenient!
We will DEFINITELY be coming back next year, maybe even this fall again!

Great host. Very accommodating. Water hose available in the barnyard. Helped me out with some electric for my CPAP.
Very private rustic primitive sites in the woods.
We shared the barnyard with the chickens, ducks and horses. Slab for 30 ft camper.
Very convenient location to explore Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes and the Leelanau peninsula.
