You'll be camping on our Stanley lake sugarbush property. Lakefront sites have power and water - are located in a grassy clearing on the shores of Stanley Lake. ABSOLUTELY NO CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES ON PROPERTY!! Primitive sites are amongst the maple trees of our sugarbush operation, within walking distance of the lake. These sites do not yet have water or electricity, but water is available from spigots at the lake clearing. Stanley lake is just shy of 400 acres, known for walleye and bass. It is an all sports lake with no limited wake hours. Feel free to roam our woods - you will notice the blue maple lines come to an end at our east and west property lines, as well as a no trespassing sign on the lake clearing to the west line. Deer here are plentiful, and you can often get them to eat from your hand, provided you have apples. Iron county has a tremendous ORV/snowmobile trail system. You can drive your machine right from our property to the trails. There are two golf courses in the area, as well as a vast bicycle trail system. Ski Brule ski hills and sporting clay operation are a few miles from the property. Countless acres of public land for recreation!

I have a place to rest for a couple nights, there is a small non motorized lake across the road. Dunbar is not to far away and there you can find Thermal Chaos, it's a great bbq place, they also have great burgers and 24 hr 91 non ethanol gas. You can also try Richard's supper club for great food also. I am also right on the atv trail. Marinette country has many waterfalls to explore also. Please follow the golden rule of camping and hiking is “leave no trace.” Anything you bring in, must be carried out. Please pack your waste, trash and recyclables, and take it with you when you leave. You may use dead and downed wood as firewood, but do not cut live trees or brush. Keep fires small and make sure your campfire is out before you leave. I hope you have a great time!

It's situated on 21 acres of what was the original Wawonowin Country Club, a 9-hole golf course that was built in the early 1800s and then closed in the mid 1960s. And now we have a beautiful mix of hardwoods and pines, forests and fields with multiplied non-motorized trails accessible right off the property. The very popular RAMBA bike trails are literally an ‘stones throw’ away! Our biggest site, Fairway Field is big enough for group camping that horse campers love, and one site, the Homestead, with an electric hookup. We don’t have a dump station or trash cans so please pack in and pack out. There is guest internet but its patchy in camping area-better closer to the house and large firepit area There is a charcoal grill near communal firepit area. We are near 2 river basins(McClure Basin and Dead River Basin) for fishing, swimming and boating ( kayaks and canoe for rent on this site-see extras! ) We are on the route of the Ore to Shore Mountain Bike epic and not far from the North Country Trail. We have options of open sites and a couple more private wooded sites. There are at least two areas for small campers and several choices for tents and/or hammocks.. There is a communal/central fire pit, picnic table area as well as a larger fire pit with picnic table closer to house. We have nice fire wood available on site -see "extras" or for purchase when you get here! There are yard games, extra chairs and a small table in the red shed. This can also be used as a storm shelter if needed! There is a "port-a-john" on site- extra TP is kept in red shed hanging on nail in a bag. Please let us know if this needs attention.

Located in the waterfall capital of Wisconsin, this property features a gravel RV pad that can accommodate campers or RVs up to 40 feet long, with full hookups available. Nearby Glen Lake is just a short walk away and offers access to a private shared dock. Bring your own kayak or canoe to enjoy the quiet, no-wake lake, which also offers excellent fishing. Please note that weeds can accumulate around the dock during the summer months, making swimming from the dock less ideal. Better swimming is available about 100 feet from the dock or at the nearby Dolan Lake public beach (see photos). The campsite is located directly on a connecting ATV/UTV trail, so there's no need to trailer your machines to a trailhead. A fire pit is located on-site, approximately 75 feet from the gravel pad. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after. A limited supply of firewood is available for purchase using digital payment methods, and several roadside firewood vendors are located nearby. Electrical service includes both 30- and 50-amp hookups. You'll need a total of 60 feet of power cord and garden hose to reach the electrical and water connections, along with a 20-foot sewer hose for dumping. Please note that all hookups are located on the opposite side of the RV from where utilities are typically positioned, as your RV must be backed onto the gravel pad. For RVs and trailers longer than 20 feet, access to the RV pad is easiest by backing down the hill from the main road, approximately 200 feet away. The RV pad is nearly a straight shot from the road; however, there is not enough room to turn around at the site for larger RVs and trailers. We loved camping our RV at the Homestead site at Heritage Hills! Our hosts were so kind, helpful.and friendly, and have the sweetest dogs. We had a beautiful site in a clearing near the woods, and were right in top of the RAMBA mountain bike trails. There's a really nice extensive path through the property where I could walk the dogs each day.

Such a beautiful property with walking trails throughout. The fall colors were at peak and it was lovely & peaceful. Phil and Joni were wonderful hosts -- the kind of people that makes your stay even better. Both were very kind and fun to chat with. I mustn't forget to mention their sweet dogs. The little one, Becky, was my little guy's new best friend. And Silver - what a gentle soul. The beautiful black Collie is a bit stand-offish, but she finally let me pet her. If you're lucky, the two horses will visit you at your campsite. Heritage Hills is truly a gem. 💕

4 nights at Land O' Lakes Nature RV Resort

Matt takes excellent care of the property. His pride is obvious. He shares stories about the history of the resort. Everything is CLEAN! Each site has its own trash and recycling bins, so no hauling. I don't need to explain how wonderful it is to have our water hookup and sewer hookups right on site. We also had great conversations with him. I'd highly recommend!

One of the most relaxing and comfortable campgrounds I’ve been to. Matt was a great host, he made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Walking to the private lake through the forest was peaceful and quiet, only hearing the sounds of nature. I would stay again.

The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed the Fishing Kayak with trolling motor. There was noise with the Highway being so close, but we still enjoyed ourselves ! We would stay here again.

The location and campsite worked well for my one night stay. Phil was available at arrival and showed me the way to my site. The site was grassy with some shading. Quiet and peaceful. There were horses nearby, but you would never know unless you looked and watch them grazing quietly in the grass.

Beautiful Spot! Owners are very responsive, friendly, they have just about everything you need to get away for a few days sunny or raining. They offer so much recreation it’s unbelievable. There is not one thing I can think of after being there for 7 days that could use improvement 1000 stars for Ruth Lake Resort. And Thank you so much!!!!

We loved this campground! We were in space 20 which is a corner lot and we were so comfortable here. It was quiet, peaceful, and felt private. Loved the walking trails and the kayaking! We prolonged our trip by a day to just relax at the campground! Can’t wait to return! Our host Matt was super friendly and helpful! Thanks for everything!
