Tiki Town & Tracks located in Kalkaska, MI offers 5 private campsites with electric and water. While most reservations come in groups we welcome individuals.

Located just 5 minutes from town, shopping and dining is within a stones throw reach. Boaters love our location as we’re only 15 minutes from the atorch Lake Sandbar public access.

Access snowmobile, ATV, and ORV trails right from property. We can accommodate up to 50’ rvs. Located on 10 private acres, well groomed and landscape.

With a tropical theme we offer a beautiful swimming hole with white sandy beach and slide. Outdoor Tiki bar with tv, music and beach front fire pit. Hottub on premises. Beach Cornhole.

Private ATV trails and a motocross track. If you’re looking for a fun place to stay without the riff raff of a conventional campground, you’ve found it!

Nightly rates are $75 and Weekly is $350. Full payment is required at time of reservation and made through cash app or Zelle. Weekends book fast.

Rocky Top "Preserve"

Grandpa Tom started this farm in the 1970's. Rocky Top Farms is a fruit farm. We grow a lot of cherries, some peaches, blueberries, elderberries, raspberries. Rocky Top hosts disc golf tournaments, music festivals, weddings, and hosts on both Hipcamp and Airbnb. We make preserves, fruit butters and salsa which ship all over the world, and are locally served in many hotels and restaurants.

The airstream was parked up in front of the chalet in this picture so I will have it pulled down underneath the back of the house in the backyard this summer and then you can go right in and use the garage and the bathroom in the garage

I also have a separate listing for the Chalet that can also be booked if you need more room for your guests! It also might be booked by another group or myself while you are staying in the Airstream.

I owned  my former farm in Southwest Michigan since then I have moved Up North in December of 2019I 

This is what the airstream looks like inside now I have two twin beds and then I bring in the blowup air mattress it's a double that you can put right down there where the chairs are and I have a grill, coolers, coffee pot, toaster, utensils!

This is where the airstream will be parked so your view will be of the backfield and my neighbors barn which is amazing and probably going to see some wildlife !!

This is when I had the airstream parked up in front of my house but I will have it pulled back down under the house by the garage this summer so you can go right in and use the bathroom in the basement

This is the cute bathroom that is in my basement you just go through the garage and the Airstream it's going to  be parked right next to it and then you can go in and use the bathroom it's got a shower and toilet and sink!

Camp 437 in the Sturgeon Valley

We book only 2 sites at a time on our 40 acre property so you can enjoy a more secluded experience in the woods.  Our property is undeveloped, so you will need to bring drinking water, but there's no need to worry about finding firewood before your arrive as we supply you with a free bundle waiting for you when you get here!  There are 1 1/2 miles of marked, wooded trails that will guide you to the river's edge where you can enjoy the beauty and wildlife along the West Branch of the Sturgeon River.  It will feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere, yet the convenience of the small town of Vanderbilt is just three miles away. 

We are located just three miles off of I-75.  The larger town of Gaylord is only a 15 minute drive south.  There's lots to do here in beautiful Northern Michigan!  Only a few miles from our camp you can go for a swim at Thumb Lake Park or take a bike ride along the North Central State Trail in Vanderbilt.  Drive 15 minutes north and you can canoe or kayak the main branch of the Sturgeon River in Wolverine.  There are many great hiking trails in the Pigeon River State Forest and the North Country National Scenic Trail is only 6 miles away.

This 40 acre parcel has been in our family since the 1950s.   My grandparents originally designated it as a tree farm and planted and harvested lumber from it.   As a boy scout leader, my grandfather hosted many boy scout troops here and even hosted a boy scout Jamboree in the 1970s.  Back then the property was referred to as the "Tree Farm", but after my husband John and I inherited it in 2014 we started calling it Camp 437.

Before we inherited the property we spent time camping there and building trails.   One of the trails we built was named the "Burns Trail" in honor of my grandparents.   Since we acquired the property we have added a one mile loop that circles the perimeter of the property, and a total of about 1 1/2 miles of trail.

A short walk brings you to the West Branch of the Sturgeon River where you can sit and listen to the sound of water flowing and birds singing.

Take a walk down to the river's edge to watch for wildlife.  Look for deer, bald eagles, great blue heron, cedar wax wings, hawks, frogs and much more!
