Learn more about this land: You can enjoy glamping in our greenhouse-tent for peace and tranquility. There is a cabin built inside the tent.  It is under a canopy of trees with a cool pond breeze prevailing. The bed and linens are first rate for a very comfortable stay. There are shelves, potable water and a table within. It is heated in the cool temps and fan cooled in the warmer days.  There is a kayak and paddleboard available to borrow. There is a dryflush toilet, hand sink and outdoor heated shower in the back of the tent. Cooking is on charcoal grill and toaster oven. There are dishes, cups and utensils for your use. as well as coffee press and hot water boiler. The 40 acre pond is 65 feet deep. It is a kettle pond which is spring fed with no river inlets to pollute it.  Access is a little tricky with 100 yard hike from the parking area down a steep slope.  The pond is stocked with bass and trout for great fishing. The birds are amazing.  Henry David Thoreau wrote about White Pond in his book, Walden as the "emerald eyes of the world."  This is a place that magic happens.

The 1.3 acre parcel across the street from the house and farm has a forested peninsula that the A-frame is located on. Our street ends in a small stream that continues to separate the farmstead from the A-frame site. Come stay in our tiny rustic A frame cabin built of mostly reclaimed materials. Enjoy being across the stream and over the bridge from the main house on a private peninsula. Enjoy the privacy of a "single site" camp! Use the fire pit, grill, outdoor wood stove, single burner butane stove or umm the bathroom :) without having to leave your site! Please be aware we are in town and you may hear road noise, lawn mowers, dogs, ect. You may also see and hear wildlife ex; deer, beavers, ducks, muskrats, rabbits, geese, foxes, and coyotes. We encourage native plants and work to provide a sanctuary for many threatened bird species. The cabin is 100sq. feet with sloping interior walls the flip up side wall is permanently open and screened in. There is no running water or electricity so unplug and unwind. A place to plug in and the water spigot a short stroll from your cabin in the driveway The cabin has a a full size mattress with sheets, blankets, throws and pillows. Lanterns, cooking utensils, camp mugs and camp coffee pot are provided. Please request the cast iron skillet and butane burner, it will not be in the cabin if you do not ask for it. You are also welcome to set up your own tent. Please note cleared space is limited and the tent should be a 1-3 person smaller tent. Outside on the deck are tiki torches, woodstove and bistro table. There is a hammock, picnic table, and 2 sets of outdoor chairs at your site. We do not have a swimming hole but the town beach is 5 minutes away and requires a day pass. If you forget something you are a short walk to Cumbies, and several farms, bakeries and a large grocer are a very short drive away. Venture farther (10 minutes) to one of the nearby hiking trails. We are within 15 minutes of the Blackstone Gorge, Southern New England Trunkline Trail, Cornier Woods, Franklin State Forest, Wojcik Farm, Cook's Valley Farm, the New England Bonsai Museum, Diamond Hill Vineyards, Caroline's Cannabis, Shire Conservation Area, New England Country Club, and many stables. The Commuter Rail to Boston, Wrentham Premium Outlets, and a Drive-in Theater are within 30 minutes. Use us as a base to explore Blackstone Valley, Boston and Worcester!! The perfect feeling of elevated camping! The wrap around windows and bench seats make this place so cozy. You have most everything you may need as noted in other reviews. Worth noting electricity is on generator only but there was even a charger battery pack left for us with outlet/USB connections should you need it to charge phones and such. Only turned electricity on for use of coffee pot!

Weekend Trip to Wapack Trail Cabin

The Wapack trail cabin is great! A sweet rustic cabin stocked with many creature comforts such as: books & board games, screened windows, electricity, water cooler, camp stove for outside use, fire pit with 2 chairs, electric tea kettle, French press, table & chairs, comfy couch and king bed (also a twin mattress in loft but we didn’t use that). my group of 4 mid-age ladies were beyond content. Jon is so nice, welcoming, and generous. He gave us a dozen fresh eggs. There are lots of great walking options right from the cabin including trails and an old road. We hope to visit the Wapack Trail cabin again

The sight had the most serene view of a waterfall. It was a very large & private area that included everything needed for a wonderful camping experience. The hosts also provided so many so many little accessories ie inflatable tubes, dog line, rain ponchos, fire lighters etc. this site provided a wonderful camping experience without doing all the work.

This trip was a wonderful experience. The wood stove kept things nice and warm on the chilly nights. The views in the morning were beautiful and Judy was a great host! I would recommend packing light because the walk down is a little steep, the wheel barrel was Great for that.

Me and my GF had an amazing time, the cabin was very nice and cozy, there is dogs on the property that were very friendly and wanted to hangout with us. There was also some trails out behind the cabin that followed a small stream and we had a great time walking them with our dog. We will definitely be coming back, the campsite feels like an un-touched gem.

2 nights at Pine Brook Retreat

I absolutely loved this campsite! The cabin was cute and cozy, and the nearby brook was so pleasant to listen to and watch flow. I even took a dip in it to clean up a bit! The campsite itself is in the trees and shaded so the 85 degree days felt more like 75 degree days at the camp, which was much better for my dog who overheats. Everything was clean. Plenty of drinking water was provided. The toilet nearby was great. I loved the swing. The king size air mattress provided was perfect for me and my dog to cuddle up at night. April was a very thoughtful host and made sure I settled in okay and asked if I needed anything. 10/10 would recommend! I hope to come back soon!

Jon is a fantastic host! The cabin is very cozy and nicely equipped. We spent a rainy weekend with our dog and a 3mo baby, and Jon was super helpful: he brought us water, firewood, and even cook ware (I missed to bring mine). The bed is very comfortable, the fire stove is easy to start and it seems quite efficient! Cozy, safe and private. We’ll be back for the foliage season

Weekend Trip to Magpie and Jaebird's Little A-frame

I had such a wonderful weekend here - such a cozy spot with a beautiful river view (lots of birds!). Easy to access and still felt super secluded and surrounded by nature. Jae is also amazing and made everything so easy and comfortable!! 10/10 recommend!!

Weekend Trip to Winimusett Brook Farm Retreat

I’m so glad we chose this cabin for our trip. The weather was awful, but we didn’t care because we had such a cozy little space that still had beautiful views of the woods around us. The land is gorgeous and there are a lots of fun breweries to check out within 20 minutes and closer. The bed and the linens provided were so comfortable and we slept great. The wood burning stove kept us warm and dry and the propane stove was great for cooking and coffee. You don’t need to bring much to this place!

4 nights at Tiny House, Horse Trailer, S Tent

There were sites on either sides of us but it wasn't too loud at all and still felt private, everything was very clean and the instructions provided were very clear. Donna and Sam were great. Loved that there was wood on site for the fire pit, we really just had to show up with food, everything else was provided and thought of. I will say the horse trailer was very cozy and we loved the views of the pond, but I will say it can get loud if it is raining! If you don't mind that, it's a great, clean and cozy place to stay.

3 nights at Magpie and Jaebird's Little A-frame

From relaxing in the hammock listening to birds and watching ducks to going to sleep serenaded by frogs, it was a peaceful get-away. There are several places to hike within a short drive. I recommend Purgatory Chasm.

Weekend Trip to Wapack Trail Cabin

This cabin is something special. The property is quiet, the bed is super comfortable and Jon was an amazing host. The cabin is situated in the woods on an old road. There is a fire pit, electric kettle, tea, coffee and some paper plates, bowls, utensils, etc. Outhouse is clean. There is a 3 mile hiking/ mountain bike trail 1/4 mile from the canin. Coyotes serenaded me at night as did the gray wood frogs and barred owls. The doors open in the rear of the cabin with a huge screen that faces the forest. Everything about this place was magical. You won't find a better host than Jon. Super cool and very accommodating. If it's available, book it.
