DunRoamin on Peter’s Pond is a perfect family getaway. We offer a playground, and fun activities throughout the summer. Join us for weekly campfires and have s'mores at the beach. Your child will love exploring the woods and discovering the wonders of nature. Our main attractions are swimming and building sandcastles on our private beach. Everything was exactly how it was described. I was able to hook up water in 30 amp electric to my camper. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water was pretty cool. It was nice to have the Porta potty so I didn’t fill up my camper. The fire pit was pretty cool. Our Host was very informative about things in the area and was also responded fairly quickly to questions I sent him.

Sandy Pond was a nice, quiet place to park our 31' class c camper for the week while we explored Plymouth, Boston, and the southern portion of the Cape. My only advice woykd be to book yiur stay directly through the campground and avoid the middle-man - Hipcamp.

DunRoaming is primarily filled with permanent campers with porches and gardens. They are lovely and the campground is wooded with a lot of birds. Our campsite was spacious and relatively private. But it was not the HipCamp experience I am used to. There were a lot of people and dogs walking by, though it was very quiet. Our puppy loved the attention. The pond was completely across the campground so we had to drive to it. There is a designated dog beach, but it is not well-marked. The location is great. We ate a a couple of great places and did some hiking. The owners were very friendly and accommodating.

We loved tent camping in Kristina's yard. My friend got married at Newport Vineyards, and this affordable place to crash made the perfect end to the evening. For the self sufficient campers, this car camping spot is a great location to access Aquidneck Island.
Furthermore, the property abuts a nature preserve with miles of trails, a golf course, a plant nursery, and the vineyard mentioned above.
Kristina was an excellent host with an excellent camping spot.

Very busy campground but still some privacy because they maintain the trees and bushes between the sites. We basically just slept there as we were attending a wedding nearby. Pretty quiet for being so busy. Nice concrete pad with good hookups. Security was very helpful, directing us to our site, we arrived after hours.
