Our sites include a picnic table and fire ring. There's also a well maintained Porta- Potty for our campers and we have firewood available for purchase at $5/bundle. This is listed under "Extras". (Please, no outside firewood to be brought on the property)
Caroline County Maryland is a wonderful place to visit with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking in nearby Martinak and Tuckahoe State Parks,Adkins Arboretum, access to public boat ramps, touring the Harriett Tubman Byway,produce stands, wineries, orchards,and close proximity to the Maryland and Delaware beaches as well as Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in neighboring Dorchester County. We're also less than two hours from Washington D.C., and Baltimore, and less than an hour from our state capitol, Annapolis.

During the summer/fall months the fields are grown up in Corn and Soybeans. During the winter/spring months, after the harvest, the fields are open.
The campsite is located close to Pitcher Dam Creek, where you are welcome to put your Kayak over and fish for Snakeheads!
The space is also a perfect spot for hunters to lodge while they are hunting on public land at Blackwater Refuge or private land in Cambridge/Dorchester County!

HORSES WELCOME! Why not run your horse on the beach, then come to our campsites to relax for the rest of your day. There is a fenced pasture positioned next to the sites so you can see your faithful friend enjoying some grass or hay. We have a new Zinger 29' trailer set up with a bunk room and another bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom. It can easily sleep six people. If you have your own RV, we have a full hook up at the same area. The pasture where your horse stays will also have hay, water and shelter with a run-in. This is a sanctuary for our animals. We have nine animals here, four horses (some minnies) and five donkeys (some minnies). By staying here, you will be helping us to support our animals. We are in Frankford, De which is close to all the beaches and parks. There are many shopping adventures awaiting you, either outlets or upcycle stores. If you just want to relax, there is a small pond out back stocked with bass and turtles. We have 17+ acres but we only use the front five acres and leave the rest for the deer, foxes, eagles, hawks and whatever else shows up. We believe this is Heaven on earth and would love to share it will you. So please come, stay at our farm and relax. We are here year round.

Camp in a backyard in a quiet area with a barn and horses nearby. Site 1 has water hookup and a 30 amp and 110 outlet available. Site 2 has water access and a 110 outlet available. Site 3 is for tent camping only and is more secluded. It does have water access available. These sites are a great spot to watch the sunset or watch the stars at night. These all are self contained camping spots. I do have two very friendly dogs that will most likely come say hi to you. Dewey Beer is 1 mile away in Harbeson. Lewes beach is only about 10 minutes away and Rehoboth beach is about 20 minutes away. Sports at the beach is only 5 miles away. Tanger outlets is 8 miles away. Delaware Turf sports complex is 24 miles. There are many great restaurants and shopping nearby. You can also bring your bikes and ride the bike trail from our lane to Lewes or Rehoboth! Feel free to ask for recommendations!

Wow. What a great location. Very private site with unbelievable views. Easy kayak launch, level site with gravel pad and plenty of grass. Clean portajohn. As other reviews mention, theres a road close by but I heard no cars after 9. There are bugs but that’s to be expected on the edge of the world’s largest estuary. I will be back.

I loved camping here! The sunset was gorgeous, the site was spacious, and the compost toilet was 5 stars. I really appreciated having access to firewood as well. Downtown Cambridge was ~20 min straight shot with several waterfront parks that my dog and I enjoyed. The Osprey nest around the bend was the cherry on top a wonderful trip.

Incredible views and total tranquility! We stayed in Site #4, which had a perfect, unobstructed view of the sunsets. It’s a great area to explore with a restaurant and tiki bar just down the road. Note: Site #4 is not full hookup—it has sewer access but not a dedicated port like Sites 1-3. We'll definitely stay here again!

We booked this place last minute and I’m so happy we found it! The spot was quite had a beautiful pond and lots of space. My boyfriend enjoyed fishing in the pond, caught some good fish. I thought the swing was a cute touch to the site. They had kindling and plenty of firewood around. Didn’t catch his name but sunglasses guy on the quad took us right back to our spot. Definitely recommend and would book again thank you!!

The owners were super friendly and accommodating. When we arrived there was a glitch in our reservations, but they resolved the issue quickly. The land and was beautiful, quiet and called for us to relax and enjoy! RV sites were clean, well maintained and had full hookup! Hubby caught quite a few bass in their pond, and our dogs loved playing in the woods. Their rescue donkeys were full of personality and we loved visiting them! We will definitely return!

Island Getaway is such a fun and unique experience and LaMar was an incredibly conscientious host. We had to cut our trip a bit short unfortunately due to weather and could only stay for one night but we are already trying to make plans to return with friends. We saw the most amazing wildlife like otters, herons, and bald eagles. If it wasn’t for the unfortunate weather it would have been a perfect camping trip. It is true that you can hear sounds from the road and from the air base at night. But honestly, I didn’t mind it at all.

Sunset Point is a beautiful location to camp and truly lives up to its name. Having the general store within walking distance made it very convenient to get firewood, ice, coffee and many other items you may need for camping. I brought my bicycle with me and took a long ride around Hoopers Island.

Thanks to the host who gave me a ride to the campsite. Heads up, you will need a truck or SUV with clearance.
The site is down a road into the woods. You will be secluded. The only thing you will see is trees surrounding you. So in other words… perfection.
The site is a nice open area that comes with a monster fire pit and huge sitting log to chill on. The trees around you are tall, but healthy. I felt secure about them. It was windy when I went and I had no problems. 👍🏻
If you’re looking for SOLITUDE, you came to the right place.
I would recommend and plan to return in the future. 💯💯💯💯

This was the second time we stayed here and it was awesome! I love being next to the water and they have two kayaks ! It’s very peaceful. Very minimal cars that drive by ! Also a porter potty is on the property as well! It’s always a pleasure staying here!

This was such a wonderful place! Dawn is so sweet and the space is extraordinary. The horses, highland cows, turkeys, chickens, dogs, and donkey are really a nice treat, and seeing the animals being tended to and the inner workings of a farm is really a refreshing experience.
The location is within 20 minutes to Cape Henlopen, 45 minutes to Ocean City, and 55 minutes to Assateague Island. Plenty of restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores within a few minutes. We took a 23 foot travel trailer. We emptied our tanks at Sun Outdoors Rehoboth Bay RV park 10 minutes down the road.
The site was quiet, private, and very well maintained. Water and electric at the site. Starlink gets great service! PLENTY of wood to scavenge for in the vast forest for campfires
One of our favorite things was the sweet little terrier who lived on the property. She visited us everyday and followed us around. She was so sweet and loved being pet.
