Absolutely loved this place! Picturesque setting and very private. The property is well maintained, outhouse was extremely clean and love that firewood is included. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Levin's Waterfront @ Blackwater

This site is huge and very private, down a gravel drive off of a quiet road. There is a hunting cabin across the street that is the only structure that can be seen from the property. The trails on property lead to fun surprises. We enjoyed birdwatching and stargazing while we camped here, with outings for geocaching nearby. It was too windy to put up our dining screen, but that kept the bugs away. We did not want to leave when it was time to depart and began discussing when we might be able to return midway through the trip. It was SO QUIET, with almost no man-made noises other than the occasional car on the road or plane overhead (we did see a cool formation of three different fighter jets). There was nothing in walkable distance nearby and that made us feel like we were really 'getting away from it all'. The amenities were a picnic table, four Adirondack chairs around a nice stone fire pit, a large pile of quality split wood, and a clean, dry outhouse that was comfortable to use. We will return sometime!

Randy gave good directions to find the spots. We stayed by the tractor shed since all we wanted was a base to go into Annapolis. The other sites had even better views and isolation, but we had what we wanted. It was very quiet and easy in/out.

Weekend Trip to Bald Eagle Farm on the Patuxent

Very peaceful, very quiet, the view of the Patuxent river from the site is great. Plenty of space back in the trees for a small tent or three, and it is just dense enough to feel like you are isolated in the wilderness. While it's unfortunate that the rain and wind out a damper on the boy's weekend trip with my 3 year old, we still had a good time!

We had such a wonderful time on the farm. Randy had everything set up-fire ring with plenty of wood to get a fire started. He was also very responsive, friendly and super helpful. We stayed one night- a great getaway! I will definitely come back again!

Randy reached out to confirm our arrival time and provide clear directions to the campsite. We had such a terrific time at Jill's place camping with the family this weekend. Jill was one of the best hosts we have ever had. The site had a beautiful view of the pond and trails and plenty quiet spots to sit and relax. Jill let the kids pick flowers and we loved having the opportunity to go inside her workshop where she makes the best cremes and hand made ceramic pots. We ended up buying a box full as gifts for friends and family. This site is highly recommended and we are definitely looking forward to staying here again.

Randy was a great host and very helpful with making sure we got to the site easily. The campsite was perfect for a little get away and you are there by yourself with privacy. The fire ring and log table were perfect and made things so much nicer. I will definitely be coming back to this spot.

We stayed at Site 4 for two nights, and we’ve never experienced such peace and solitude. Walking around the farm in the early morning and evening was indescribably beautiful—something we’ll never forget. The best part was watching our energetic dog absolutely thrive. He ran freely, explored every scent of nature. It brought us so much joy to laugh and talk without worrying about anyone else around us. We’re already planning to come back this fall. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking true solitude and a deep connection with nature!

This place gets a 10 out of 5 star review from us. Levin’s was the greatest primitive style campsite I have ever stayed at! Lisa has made it obvious that the guests comfort and privacy are her top priority. The quiet, serene atmosphere was far better than peaceful and relaxing! We most certainly will be back as soon as we can!

We had a great experience staying on Randy's property @site #1 in our toy hauler. The land was beautiful with soft rolling hills viewed from our camp site and the fire pit was stocked upon arrival which was greatly appreciated. Randy gave us clear directions to our site with the ability to pick the best spot suited for us. Randy was a pleasure to meet and an exceptional host. We definitely recommend staying there.

We stayed at Randy’s property for two nights. It is situated in an area of beautiful farmland, yet very close to Annapolis. The site options vary, with some being more private than others. Randy has fire pits, chairs and wood at all sites. While there were no crops when we there in early April, the birds and peepers were plentiful and we were treated to their symphony each morning and evening. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Weekend Trip to Stegan Farm

Overall, I loved my time there. I stayed a week and it was as relaxing and as stress free as I could have asked for. The land is overall beautiful, you have a ton of space available to you and best is that they only rent to one group at a time. I went by myself, but had my best friend, my mother's dog and even my mother come to visit and there were no issues with people coming and going. The land owner, Scott, was very nice, as was his daughter and two dogs. The only slight negative was that the wood provided was very, very old. This is good when you're starting a fire, but it evaporates quickly. The fire pit has cinderblocks allowing for additional airflow, which is a plus. In fact, the cooking was quite easy overall. And I did have to purchase my own outdoor toilet and privacy tent, but I saw no one while I was out there so it was no big deal. Consider this is you're someone who needs to shower daily, They will also provide you with (I think) a five gallon jug of drinkable, washable water. To top it off, the price just right. My last campsite was the same price, but overall worse (sloped ground). I loved the peace and tranquility I found there and I hope that you don't book up too much time here because I want to go back sooner than later.

We once raised tobacco and cattle and have now converted to growing hay and grain. My family wants to share the views and the experience of sleeping under the stars on our beautiful secluded farm. You will hear nothing but the wind, birds, frogs and insects while you doze off or enjoy the dark sky and camp fire. We live on the farm so we are always here to help you out if needed. We can provide you with the firewood you need and water from our deep well. We are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible and provide a restroom in the case of an "emergency". There are three campsites on the farm, one by the pond and two by the river. Very secluded and all sites include , firepit, log bench, and a picnic table that seats 3-4 people. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD. AT THIS TIME WE ARE OUT FOR THE SEASON. The original river campsite has been moved to a more remote spot so that all campers can access the pond and pier to the river. Farm encompasses nearly 300 acres on the Patuxent River. There is access to the river on high tide via our private creek (must bring your own canoe or kayak) and 150 acres of marshland. Over 100 acres of woods to walk through and a pond for wildlife watching.
