We’ve intentionally created an off-grid, calming nature experience. You’ll be surrounded by forest, open farmland and abundant wildlife. Native gardens, fruit trees, nut trees and herbs were planted near the tent areas in September 2024, offering beauty and a deeper connection to the land.
Enjoy thoughtfully placed gathering spaces throughout the forest, including a whimsical Forest Tea Party area and Uncontained, our cozy repurposed shipping container—perfect for reading, board games, or shelter during a summer pop-up thunderstorm. A nature -made hammock area amongst tall pine trees is perfect for afternoon naps and are provided by us (7) Fire-pit seating, picnic tables, a charcoal grill, and a propane cooktop are also available.
Walk the short Jeremiah Dixon/Charles Mason Trail, a path similar to one they would have taken in the 1700s. Follow it through the forest and across the creek to our homestead, where you can place one foot in Maryland and one in Delaware at the historic Mason–Dixon marker beneath an old wild cherry tree.
Before heading back, stop at the main farm gate to visit our friendly goats—Dixie, Dolly, and Star.

Campsite is located on a 12 plus acre family horse farm. There is a patch of woods with a small creek that runs through it. We are located 10 minutes from Rock State Park, Eden Mill Nature Center, and the MA and PA walking trail. We are 20 minutes from Jerusalem Mill Village. You can hike, bike, climb, and swim at 2 or more of these locations.
Tucked Away Acres is just that, we are tucked away behind other houses. The property backs up to power lines where deer can be seen often. We offer a large fire pit, horse shoe pit, small playground, trampoline, swings, and a small zip line over the creek in the woods. Horseback riding is available on certain weekends only (weight limit of 180 lbs) for an extra charge. Type of riding depends on skill level, leadline to guided trail ride. We have a produce stand that has tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and more.

Very nice property. The private pond and the surrounding property are beautiful. Although there are houses on the perimeter of the property, you can’t really see them and it feels like you are in the middle of the forest (which you kind of are!). The privacy is just right since there are only 5 sites (4 tent or pull in RV sites and 1 Cabin) and they are spread out around the pond with plenty of space between each. The owners, Dan and Carol, were absolutely phenomenal. Dan came by on his golf cart every day to check on me (I was solo camping in the Cabin). Carol also came with him once. Aside from the privacy and rest/relaxation that I desperately needed, the best part was meeting Dan and Carol. Super nice hosts! Anyone looking for an off grid camping experience should camp here!

This is the best camping place I’ve ever stayed in It literally has everything you need, it was so nice to disconnect and relax in here, I am an artist and I never get the peace to just paint without interruptions but in here I even got inspiration from the land.
The host is super nice, he met me and my sister at check in to show us around and make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
I felt super safe out there and I never felt like we were missing something.
I will definitely come back! Also there is a lot of yummy places in that area so we were never hungry lol

Weekend Trip to Grasshopper Acres
I absolutely loved camping at grasshopper acres. The entire experience absolutely exceeded my expectations. Josh had everything prepared for us when we arrived, he was very helpful and pleasant. The outdoor camp potty was very clean and had plenty of supplies. The tent was very well prepared with cots, tables and a wood stove. It rained off and on the entire weekend that we camped. However, it didn't bother us because we had more than enough space inside of the tent. We painted, played games and just fellowship and enjoyed each other's company. It was an absolutely great experience and I can't wait to do it again.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at the little water house over Memorial Weekend! So peaceful and relaxing! The house sits on top of the water, so you get it all! Gorgeous birds of all kinds! House has the basics, so byobasics. Loved it, reminded me of home in Texas on the river. Hosts were perfect. and give you the privacy you need! Shawna was great!

We loved staying on Edwin's farm. He was welcoming. The safari was really fun, unique, and peaceful. We came with 2 adults and 2 kids under 6 so we could all fit in the safari bed, but it'd be tight quarters if anyone was much bigger! We loved watching the sheep on the farm...we had a chance to see some young spring baby sheep which were so cute. The outhouse was clean. The fire pit was perfect for marshmallows. The site is close to Waffle House so we got breakfast before driving home. Great getaway, thank you!!!!

Spacious land with neighbors far enough away that you’ll never feel crowded. It’s a glamping style experience that still captures the spirit of real camping and you get the atmosphere without the hassle of setting up and breaking down all your gear.
The tent itself is huge, easily fitting an additional 2–3 cots beyond the 2 already provided, which come with sheets and blankets. (Bring your own extra blankets if you’re expecting a cold night.) A small space heater inside the tent keeps things warm, and there’s a composting BOXIO toilet with a foot pump sink nearby. There are plenty of other amenities too, but it's too many to list here.
One thing to be aware of: this site is genuinely off grid. It’s a few miles from the main road, and the further in you go, the narrower, rougher, and less paved the roads get. It felt a little eerie, though the host does disclose this upfront.
No real complaints, this spot works for just about anyone. The host was incredibly accommodating, informative, and kind. Would absolutely return if I find myself in the area again.

What a lovely little weekend getaway. Just right for our Valentines Weekend 💝. Loved the extra touches like k cup coffee machine with cups and creamer shower shampoo and body wash, fresh towels and warm blankets. Glad there was a little fridge for dinner leftovers too. This was a fantastic experience and the tiny cabin was exceptionally cozy and so cute with sparkling lights, heaters, fire pits, and hot tub. Andrea's farm tour was incredible, I wish I lived closer as to visit more and help with the chores! Very eye-opening, they care about their animals so much and care for the community, which all in all made it a great bday trip :) Our dog was so excited seeing the animals, who were all so sweet and made us immediately want to get into the farming business! Thank you so much and we will be sure to visit again. [Also the surrounding area is very nice and close to a lot of cute and cozy shops; or even just a little drive south to Rehoboth or north to Wilmington!]

Oh my gosh....What an absolutely fabulous little gem this tiny house is! Lovely and clean, with a microwave , fridge, heat and AC, and coffee maker. A cozy fire pit is nearby as is a hot tub surrounded by twinkling lights. Andrea was such a super helpful hostess and genuinely nice getting me set up.
