Caroline County Maryland is a wonderful place to visit with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking in nearby Martinak and Tuckahoe State Parks,Adkins Arboretum, access to public boat ramps, touring the Harriett Tubman Byway,produce stands, wineries, orchards,and close proximity to the Maryland and Delaware beaches as well as Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in neighboring Dorchester County. We're also less than two hours from Washington D.C., and Baltimore, and less than an hour from our state capitol, Annapolis.

We have a large pasture surrounded by woods and adjacent to our alpaca barn available. Wildlife such as Whitetail deer, Bald Eagles, fox, and song birds are regular visitors here. Farm tours and visiting our Alpaca Farm Store are highlights of our farm.

Our sites include a picnic table and fire ring. There's also a well maintained Porta- Potty for our campers and we have firewood available for purchase at $5/bundle. This is listed under "Extras". (Please, no outside firewood to be brought on the property)
Caroline County Maryland is a wonderful place to visit with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking in nearby Martinak and Tuckahoe State Parks,Adkins Arboretum, access to public boat ramps, touring the Harriett Tubman Byway,produce stands, wineries, orchards,and close proximity to the Maryland and Delaware beaches as well as Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in neighboring Dorchester County. We're also less than two hours from Washington D.C., and Baltimore, and less than an hour from our state capitol, Annapolis.

Come stay on our Farmstead! We are full time livestock, grain, and produce farmers. If you are looking to enjoy the experience of a Farmstead, consider spending the weekend here! We have a few very friendly steer, a small herd of Boer goats, an obnoxious amount of piggies (about 40-ish), and a flock of free range chickens that keeps us on a never ending Easter egg hunt!!
HEY FISHING GURUS - We are located on Chipman Pond and have there are more freshwater fishing ponds in and around our immediate area, several within just 5 miles. We are directly across the road from the Chipman Pond Boat Ramp, and we have plenty of room for vehicles with trailers. We have an onsite fish cleaning station and access to water.

The views of the Wye River from the dock are absolutely beautiful and peaceful! There is also plenty of water for fishing, crabbing and even a small, man-made beach!
OUTDOOR POOL AND RAFT USE - The outdoor pool is closed indefinitely. There is a 4-person raft and a 2-person inflatable kayak available, for an additional fee per day. Both require PRIOR APPROVAL and a WAIVER to utilize.

Wow!!! My friends and I all loved this site, we'll definitely be coming back here, might not go to another site again. Easily accessible from DC, and the environment was absolutely perfect. Just as shown. Reviews are correct. Excellent location and private. Only critique would be that it is just off a rural highway, but truthfully there is only about one car every 5 minutes during the day, and then virtually none at night. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely love this campsite! This was our third time staying here, and it gets better every year. The site itself is very private, spacious, and well-maintained — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors without feeling crowded. Derek, the owner, is always incredibly accommodating and goes above and beyond to make sure guests have everything they need. We plan to keep coming back every year — it’s become one of our favorite getaway spots!

The view is beautiful. My pictures are amazing. Very quiet and peaceful. Close to the rivers edge. It did not rain, so I had no issues. However, flooding would be the only concern or negative. This is my favorite or number 1 campsite. This was my 5th camping trip. I would book again.
