About Tyme Farm is a 26 plus acre privately owned farm used for crops such as corn, soy beans and sunflowers. The property includes a 150+ year old stone farm house, large historic barn on the barn quilt tour in Carroll County, renovated camping cabin for those not into rough camping, fields, streams , woods for hiking, plenty of wild life and lots of quiet. The farm is surrounded by other farms in the agricultural preservation program yet you are only 5 miles from stores, movies, antiques and other aspects of civilization or entertainment if needed. Enjoy watching the deer come out of the woods and meander along the stream and fields at dusk and return in the morning. This was a fantastic experience and the tiny cabin was exceptionally cozy and so cute with sparkling lights, heaters, fire pits, and hot tub. Andrea's farm tour was incredible, I wish I lived closer as to visit more and help with the chores! Very eye-opening, they care about their animals so much and care for the community, which all in all made it a great bday trip :) Our dog was so excited seeing the animals, who were all so sweet and made us immediately want to get into the farming business! Thank you so much and we will be sure to visit again. [Also the surrounding area is very nice and close to a lot of cute and cozy shops; or even just a little drive south to Rehoboth or north to Wilmington!]

Weekend Trip to Countryside Horse Farm

What a fabulous time it was on this farm. I went in December so it was a bit cold. The owner was was very kind. She had already put a space heater in there and warms it up for me. If you don't like the cold then do not go in the cooler months but you ABSOLUTELY should go in the 3 other seasons. I loved meeting the horses and waking up to the sounds of a rooster. On the way out to this farm I saw a few other farms. I saw the biggest bald eagle I've ever seen in my life as well as peacocks. All this in NJ. This was an amazing experience.

Great Location with multiple camping locations. The deck with the bamboo at site 3 was great, ample wood was included with the stay and we had everything we needed for an outstanding stay. Scott checked in and we chatted for a bit, really nice and welcoming. We're already planning our next trip with more people in warmer weather to enjoy the creek. 10/10

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Andrea's instructions were perfect. The bathhouse was the nicest I have experienced. Andrea and Michael were very friendly, authentic, down-to-earth people who welcomed me like I was an old friend. I was able to purchase farm fresh eggs, which were amazing! Interacting with the animals was both enjoyable and educational. Michael shared his animal knowledge and answered all of my questions. I felt renewed and experienced peace during my stay here. Firewood was readily available, the outhouse was a plus and the drive from Montgomery county was a breeze. Oh my gosh....What an absolutely fabulous little gem this tiny house is! Lovely and clean, with a microwave , fridge, heat and AC, and coffee maker. A cozy fire pit is nearby as is a hot tub surrounded by twinkling lights. Andrea was such a super helpful hostess and genuinely nice getting me set up. And of course , it was fun to go visit the goats and farm animals. It was just the getaway I needed and I will definitely be back! 😃🐐🐖🐎🐈🐕🐄🔥❤️
