With some landscaping it became clear that beautiful campsites were forming. My father is 78 years old. The last thing he ever thought he would be doing with his retirement is jumping back on his excavator. Can't keep a good man down. Now here we are. Father and daughter. One day my children. 3 large tent sites and two camper sites. Future cabin and seasonal RV sites. A brook runs through the property but dries up after June. There is a small pond with rock stairs. Deer and turkey are frequently seen. Peace and serenity. This property does not offer complete seclusion. You will see other campers if all 3 sites are occupied. There is spacious distance. What this location offers is that it is centrally located to mountains, oceans, lakes,concert venues, restaurants, nightlife, shopping and antiquing. Traveling to NH and Massachusetts is a day trip. A few hours and your in central Maine. Cross the border into Canada. So much to explore or just relax. Stay a few nights or stay the season.
2023 is off to a great camping season. Already meeting new campers. Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces from 2022. A few upgrades. There is an outside water faucet, an outlet and an outside shower...hot and a privacy fence. There is a bathroom/shed that contains a toilet.
Goats are coming. Yes goats. Not until fall though. The frog pond population continues to grow. A neighboring town is finding 3 legged frogs in their ponds. Apparently caused by a parasite. Let me know if you find any.
2024 was another great season. New faces that I hope to see again. The summer weather was great for camping. A large Bell Tent and a small portable camper was purchased for those who are seeking more of a glamping experience.

2025 had some complications unfortunately. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to invite anyone to my property. Consider yourself invited for the 2026 season. 2023 is off to a great camping season. Already meeting new campers. Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces from 2022. A few upgrades. There is an outside water faucet, an outlet and an outside shower...hot and a privacy fence. There is a bathroom/shed that contains a toilet.
Goats are coming. Yes goats. Not until fall though. The frog pond population continues to grow. A neighboring town is finding 3 legged frogs in their ponds. Apparently caused by a parasite. Let me know if you find any.
2024 was another great season. New faces that I hope to see again. The summer weather was great for camping. A large Bell Tent and a small portable camper was purchased for those who are seeking more of a glamping experience.

I loved Sandi and Brandon"s cabin! The land is beautiful and you feel miles away and secluded from everyone else. The cabin itself is very comfortable, clean and cozy. They thought of everything! The covered porch was great and we enjoyed our fires in the fire . The sheep came to visit and were peaceful to watch. I 100% recommend staying here. It's so relaxing!

My favorite Hipcamp so far! Stunning property with amazing views, tons of privacy and almost no road noise & light pollution. The cabin is very spacious & comfortable and the outhouse is very clean. There’s even an actual flush toilet & shower. Joe met us with some fresh raspberries & a warm welcome. My after dark walk with my dogs was my most memorable moment - nothing but nighttime insect sounds, moonlight & the wind in the leaves. We will definitely be back - truly a very special place!

It's a neat and clean campground. The restrooms were spotless. It's peaceful and beautiful. The linens package I received was a pleasant bonus. Comforter and pillows were plush, sheets were nice and towels seemed new. Very nice! Staff was pleasant and polite. It's been over 15 years since I've been camping and the cabin with linens was a step up I needed. I would book again.

This Hipcamp was absolutely gorgeous. The land was filled with wildflowers and fruit, and you can tell so much heart and soul went into creating and caring for this property. It's a little less private than I expected and there is a fair amount of street noise during the day, but the cabin itself is lovely and the location is central to all kinds of things to do in the Ossipee/Conway/White Mountains area. The site has tons of space and a bottomless amount of firewood to burn. That it can accommodate larger groups is a plus.

Joe is a great host! My wife and I absolutely loved our stay this weekend. The setting is very private, lending quite the romantic and relaxing feel. The cabin itself was very comfortable and clean, with stunning views over the hills and the meadow in front.
It’s so well stocked that we only had to bring clothes, food, and drinking water. There’s even a pour over coffee setup!
If you wait until late afternoon when the sun has warmed up the water tank, you can shower while looking over the majestic ridge. While we were unable to take advantage of the brick oven pizza this time, we came home with an abundance of fresh blueberries picked right from the farm!

Staying at the Sunrise Cabin was truly a magical experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the peaceful beauty of the meadow and the gentle presence of sheep grazing nearby—it felt like something out of a storybook. The short walk to the cabin was easy and made the stay feel even more tucked away and special.
The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed—from a full kitchen to indoor plumbing and a gas fireplace that made the nights feel warm and relaxing. The view to the east was absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise. Watching the sun come up over the fields and woods was an unforgettable way to start each day.
One of the highlights of our stay was learning about the animals on the farm. It was so much fun interacting with them and gaining a deeper appreciation for farm life. It added a whole new level of charm and authenticity to our visit.
The outdoor area was perfect for winding down—we enjoyed the lighted fire pit, cooked dinner under the stars, and even had a picnic at the table while soaking in the quiet of the surrounding nature.

We were looking for a bit of post-hiking R&R with our dog, and we came to the right place. The Owl's Nest combined a beautiful and secluded landscape with a cabin that was artfully and thoughtfully crafted from top to bottom. As previous commenters have noted, despite it's cozy size, we didn't feel as though any detail was missed. The outdoor shower was cold but a much appreciated treat after the morning. Once we were cleaned up all of the supplies were ready for us to make a fire and enjoy the view over a meal, and finally to retreat back to the cabin where the view was still the highlight through the many windows. We loved our stay and will definitely not hesitate to visit again.
