85 acres of woodlands, fields, and wetlands located in the shadow of Mount Katahdin, and conveniently just 2 miles off Route 95, along the Katahdin Woods and Waters Scenic Byway. We call our special spot Siberia Crossing, a nod to the workers who laid the Bangor and Aroostook RR tracks in the late 1800s, and dubbed the place "colder than Siberia!" Go for a paddle in a small bog adjacent to our property (kayaks provided) and look for beavers and moose, take a leisurely stroll through the forest, get out your binoculars and Merlin App and see what you can find for birds, or just sit on the deck and enjoy the stunning sunsets over the entire Katahdin Range. And another thing - the STARS! You can either take in the nationally acclaimed dark skies right from the tent deck, or grab a blanket and head down to the field where you will be rewarded with 360-degree dark sky views! And don't pass up the regional foliage season, which is always spectacular with amazing foliage views both on the property and over Katahdin in the Fall. This private gated property is within close proximity to numerous outdoor recreational opportunities and hundreds of thousands of acres of conserved lands, including Baxter State Park, Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, and Penobscot River Trails. Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, birding, hunting, fishing, trail riding or simply relaxing in the great Maine outdoors, you are sure to find our property a suitable basecamp for your North Woods adventures.

The land our farm is on has been in my family for generations.   It was originally part of my Great Grand Fathers dairy farm.   We took over this section of the land to create our own farm several years ago.  We raise beef, pork, chicken, and goats to sell.   We also have several horses on the farm.    The camping spot has been used by our family for years hosting “back forty” parties and weekend getaways.  The pond was dug by my grandfather over 40 years ago for irrigation.    It is no longer used for that and has become a wonderful frog pond that is stocked with trout.    Over the last few years, we upgraded the camping area with a shed, outhouse, fire pit and granite bench, and a bean hole bean pit.  The shed is used for firewood storage and other camp items.     We have direct access to the ATV/Multi use trail system that can take you all over Central Maine.   We have mowed waking trails around the property and acres of woods to explore.
